Carillon Custom Detail

I drove cross country to help a friend move to Seattle. My truck was filthy by the time we got to the area. My friend’s sister recommended CCD to us, as she takes her BMW X5 there a few times a year. It was already 4:30pm but their hours say they are open until 5pm.
The guy working there (Tim?) was super friendly and stayed past closing to finish my truck. You never knwo what kind of attitude you may get for showing up close to closing time at some places, but
I went with the Deluxe Detail and the truck looked great after it was done. I seriously don’t think the paint shined this well straight out of the factory! He did a good job on the interior as well, but I was more focused on the outside since it go so dirty during the 3 day drive. He was very appreciative of my tip too. Some places you go people act like they deserve it or its a requirement.
After a weeks stay in the Seattle area and getting back to Kentucky, I almost felt bad that my truck got dirty again. Too bad I couldn’t bring CCD back with me!

Avoid this place at all costs! I gave my SUV for Deluxe detailing and it came back looking as if it was a drive through car wash. The quality by any means was not better at all. I was amazed at the lack of attention to detail. The SUV when it went in had dust on the outside which was washed away. They did not do anything extra on the inside to clean the vehicle — they did not vaccum properly. we could still see the cookie crumbs that my daughter had left behind. The seats and carpets were still as dirty as it went it! I could not believe my eyes. I asked them and they said their vaccum cannot reach certain places… C’mon, there is a reason why I gave the vehicle to you guys and not elephant car wash! To top it off, the car had a stuffy smell (probably from the vaccum) inside.
I asked them to upgrade and do service included shampoo wash of carpet and seats and they said they do not have time to do it!!!
Terrible disappointment for $ 70. Big rip off. please avoid this place at all costs.

I really do reserve my 5 * for the best of the best. I’ve been taking my car to autobahn for at least 4 years now and have _​always_​had incredible service. This little detail shop is hidden away in the parking garage at Carillon Point which is great because it keeps him just enough of a secret that you can still get your car in with out a ridiculous wait.
Even though you’ll see a Ferarri or Astin Martin in there, Tim (the head man of detail) is the kinda guy who makes you feel comfortable instantly and they have super affordable rates. I bring my big SUV in there for a hand wash at $ 40 (don’t forget to tip you cheapskates) which may seem steep but is truly a bargain as somehow my car seems to magically stay clean longer. Not sure if its the wax he uses or what.
Anyway, short story long, Tim and Autobahn are the must stop detail shop for we Eastsiders.
