Bartell Drugs

A very poorly run business. Every time I go in, I have to wait in line while the cashiers have off-​topic conversations with elderly customers. Today I stood in line for 3 – 4 minutes while the casher continued a general conversation with a delivery guy. There is Safeway right next door so just skip this one till they improve things.

In a pinch, this is a fine place to go for some essential items you need and you don’t want to drive more to get things cheaper… really, the location is the best thing this Bartell has going for it; if a Walgreens or some competitor were nearby, I’d definitely do my shopping and pharmacy stuff there instead because it’s cheaper and because recent experiences here have been somewhat ‘meh.’
My husband was just trying to fill his prescription and had to go a whopping 4 or 5 times because the person in the pharmacy didn’t tell him about the issues in full when he first went to pick up his Rx. Several of the trips could have been eliminated, but instead my poor, sick, husband had to go back more times than necessary. The person working in the pharmacy the next morning at least gave him the start of his medication and then got everything cleared up so there was no need for more stops back. Ugh!
After this experience I was tempted to move all of our family prescriptions to Safeway next door, but I kind of think they may be even worse… and, hopefully all of the issues here won’t be an issue any longer.
Otherwise, things here are more pricey than say at a Target, but it’s less crowded which could be a bonus. The staff here is generally helpful as well. I would recommend not going here during a rush though because things move kind of slowly: right after work isn’t the ideal time to step in!

I started coming here more often as I get my meds at the pharm here. I have also used the photo services. I haven’t had any problems with either. Nice staff. It’s convenient for me. I usually get my household items from bigger stores, but in a pinch, this place works and has most of what I need.

This place has a lot of gift ideas. You can pickup all your everyday essentials and also things you don’t need.

TTerrible service especially towards babies im never going to this one again. Even if i really really need to nope
