Absolutely solid instruction in a super friendly environment. A menu of classes from boxing, kickboxing, MT, BJJ and MMA. AMC is one of those places where you can go for basic fitness all the way to professional (there’s been several UFC and other promotions champs that have come out of this training center) and everything in between.
Totally agree with James O. that Matt Hume is the friendliest and nicest badass you’ll ever meet. All the instructors KNOW their stuff and are super-​approachable and nice folks. Come for the classes and stay for the camaraderie.

Matt, Greg and Brandon are all excellent trainers, great level of knowledge and cool/​friendly to boot!
Only thing which was missing was Gi BJJ (For those like me who like pyjama fighting!) but they have added this now so it’s complete.

AMC is a world class facility with some of the best trainers and coaches you will find. Trevor is a terrific boxing instructor who does an excellent job of going through a step by step process of teaching the perfect way of of correctly throwing several different punches and an array of combinations. In addition, the customer support is great as they promptly helped me with a billing issue I had and quickly corrected it. I highly recommend AMC to anyone who is serious about getting into mixed martial arts or someone casual who just wants to exercise and have a lot of fun doing it!

I just started learning to box here a few weeks ago and I love it. The gym is big, bright, and clean. Everybody is ridiculously friendly and helpful. The price is competitive with other gyms in the area, and there’s a great per-​class rate for people who are only able to attend once per week (like me). The classes are actual classes, with a focus on learning, practicing, and improving. (Other gyms I visited wasted half the class time doing general physical conditioning exercises to loud music.) Overall my experience so far couldn’t be better. Highly recommended!

One of the things I miss most about the Pacific North West is AMC. It provides great instruction in MMA and has since before MMA was common parlance. In includes a wide range of training and boasts a broad list of great fighters and champions. Matt Hume is a great trainer and always willing to help a struggling student. Matt’s instructors are top notch and the entire environment is an unusual blend of competitiveness, nurturing, safety and fun. The place has ample free parking.

Matt «The Wizard» Hume is one of the nicest, most humble fighters you would NEVER want to meet in the ring! However OUTSIDE the ring or octagon, he is the best person you could have as a coach, teacher, or corner man. His set of «Flow drills» for learning submissions is PHENOMENAL! It takes all the joint locks and chokes and puts them in a logical, well constructed exercise/​drill. Some people are good martial artists, but not good instructors — Matt is both.
Trevor Jackson is probably one of the most technical boxing coaches around, and puts the «art» in martial arts. If you think your stand up skills are good, he can take it to the next level.
Danny Eng is another great instructor at AMC. He lives and breathes martial arts. He’s the only person I know that hangs out at the gym on his vacation! Watch out for his rt hook!
This is a great place to train if you just want a good workout or if you’re wanting to be the next Ultimate Fighter (several have trained here — as well as UFC/​PRIDE champs etc.)… there’s all levels here, and there is an emphasis on safety. The mats are mopped with an antibacterial/​antiseptic every night so you don’t have to worry about catching anything if you’re wrestling/​grappling. There are no big EGOs among the regulars, (there’s no one out to hurt you) and there is a great comraderie among the fighters. It’s kid friendly also.
There’s not a big locker room or cardio equipment, so if you’re looking for a fitness gym this probably isn’t the best fit. However, if you are looking for some of the best MMA training available, this is the place!

FIRST! And I must say, its the best gym in the northwest! If you don’t believe me, ask world heavyweight number 1 contender Josh Barnett. I’ve been fighing MMA for a few years, and whenever any of the top athletes in the world are mentioned, chances are they have trained here.
Matt Hume has forgotten more about martial arts than any one of us could hope to learn in a lifetime. His Gym is clean, tidy, has all the equipment you need, and a VERY knowledgeable and experienced staff. Anything from Self defense, Mixed Martial Arts, and Kids clubs.
If I could give it 10 stars I would
