Took my son’s old phone there to have service transferred to a used smartphone we had. Was told that we had to buy a new SIM card for the smartphone for $ 25 in order to activate the smartphone. Not true! When I went to a different Verizon service center the next day was told that yes we would need a new SIM card but they supply it and install it for free. What a scam! Not the first time I have had conflicting advice from this staff either.

I had a good experience here getting my phone activated (which I had purchased elsewhere). The salesperson was helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I would return here in the future.

I went here to get the iPhone 6 during Verizon’s special trade-​in deal. I went for information and the salesperson I spoke with was not knowledgeable at all. He confused me even more than when I walked in, and didn’t seem to know what he was talking about (or, if he did, he wasn’t able to communicate it in a way that people who do not work there would understand). I left and went to the Verizon store at Mark Center (on N. Beauregard) and they were MUCH more helpful.
Also, I called the Kingstowne store one day, 4 separate times, and every single time the phone just rang and rang, with no one ever answering. Not a great way to run a business. I will never come to this store again.

Dishonest sales practices! Stay away. I was charged more for the iPhone 6 ($ 900) vs Apple/​Verizon pricing of $ 849. When I asked about it before signing the contract, I was told that it will be adjusted by Verzion on the bill through «edge» payments. Verizon confirmed that these retailers charge their own pricing and there is nothing they can do about it.
Also, be aware that Verizon activation fee will only be waived if you return the equipment within 3 days and not 14 days. This was also not explained to me by the sale rep.
So do your homework and not use one of these stores!
