Best Pizza Ever!!! You have to try it. It’s been around as long as I can remember, and no other can come close to that taste I know and love.

I grew up on Savoy’s pizza, to the point that there was no other pizza in existance. The word«pizza» actually ceased to exist and became genericized to just«Savoy’s.» There were dangers to this. Savoy’s pizza is so unique that making it your base standard for what pizza is leads to confusion and indifference toward other options. Good luck finding pizza anything like it elsewhere. Other kid’s birthday parties were always the worst because they didn’t have Savoy’s. Not only did our lot eat Savoy’s on our respective birthdays, but we had the party there. Bless Linda and Bruce for never letting on how annoying a pack of overexcited lower-middle-class scrappers must have been, running amok in their establishment. So, what then makes this pizza so unique? I’m not so sure. I don’t even know what«old style» entails, it’s just what you want to ask for every time. The crust is crunchy at the top and almost biscuit like, yet it’s not this way under the actual slice. This makes the top crust like a valuable bonus after you plow through the slice. The cheese. Oh, the cheese. I’m quite sure they use cheddar. The cheese has an orange hue to it and is sweeter than your standard mozzarella sheet. It is crumbly and you could not possibly peel it all off in one piece like with most pizza cheese. It makes for perhaps the sloppiest slice you’ve ever had. Be prepared to have cheese on your hands and be prepared to find it charming and probably lick it off. Once the box is empty, you can then scoop up the cheese that runneth over with that crust you swore was for the dog.

I had the pizza and i loved it. It was very tasty and delicious. The owners Bruce and Linda are the greatest. I would recommend this to everyone. Great service and great prices. Hop in your car, truck and go to SAVOY’S.

If you like pizza that’s not a cookie cutter«mall» pizza, you have to try Savoys! Recipe that has been handed down for years. Not much of an eat in area but it’s quiet and great for take out!

Hot, fresh, tasty and unique can all be used to describe the pizza at Savoy’s. The«eat-in» area is small, but cozy and clean, and the company is second-to-none. Linda and Bruce are the most welcoming local pizzeria owners in the valley and great friends to the local community. Don’t hesitate to stop in for lunch, you won’t be sorry!
