I eat here more than I care to admit. The service is wonderful and the food is very good. Warm, lightly crispy chips and flavorful salsa and pico de gallo. Their tortilla soup is the best and I also really enjoy the enchiladas verdes(with extra green chile sauce on the side). They are always happy to bring extra sauce or modify your order in any way. They are a cut above other Mexican restaurants I’ve tried and very reasonably priced.

Slow — always busy… good food and well-priced…slow. Did I mention… slow? Take your knitting project with you… by the time you get waited on… you’ll finish that sweater

Very nice atmosphere, good variety of fruity margaritas and good American-style Mexican food. If you must have authentic, don’t come. The staff is always lovely, as well — very helpful with good service. The recent addition of tableside guac is nice. Always enough to take home for leftovers. The place is huge, so there’s never a wait.

I’ve been coming here since I was 3 years old. I’m actually from Seattle but my family has a beach house near Point No Point and the«Sizzling steak Fajitas» is really the main thing we look forward to having when we come over here. Staff is very friendly, building is new, clean & spacious, and they even make their warm soft flour tortillas right there in front of you.

Don’t order to go or they will screw you on portions. The camarones mojo de ajo normally feeds my girlfriend and I no problem but last time I ordered it to go and it was probably half the normal size. Really disappointed.

It’s 4:48 in the morning and I’m writing a Unilocal review. Why, you ask? Because, right now, my partner is in the bathroom puking and I lay awake with a terrible stomach ache. But here is the catch. This happens EVERYTIME we come here. In the last year and a half since we moved to the area, we have been to this establishment five times. I’m sitting here thinking, WHATISWRONGWITHME?! How have I been here FIVETIMES! And EVERYTIME the same thing happens, EXPLOSIVEDIARRHEA or vomit. Tonight was absolutely the last time we ever go here.

This was the first time I’ve ever been here. The restaurant is very big and very beautiful. For it being a Saturday it was pretty empty so we were able to be seated promptly. Jorge was our server and he was great! Food came out fast. It was hot and delicious. Even got the Flan for desert and it just topped the whole experience:)

This has to be the worst, most over-priced Mexican food that I have ever tasted. Shrimp tacos were gritty. My kid, who loves green enchiladas, turned her nose up to these. Even the rice on the side was weirdly crunchy. So bad. My husband will eat anything and even he felt it was bad. People were nice though.

I’m not even sure how this place is still open! I’ve been in there a few times(it was someone else’s idea to go, believe me, not mine) and it has been awful every time. The best thing I can say about this place is the fresh tortilla shells. How do you mess up fajitas? They know how! They were so bad I left almost all of them in my plate. Maybe the trivia at the bar is fun, but don’t come hungry, you will be sorely disappointed!

Came with the family for brunch. Very limited as to other brunches I have been too. Probably not a great brunch for kids as most of the food was geared toward a mature pallet. Worth the $ 12. The waiter was very friendly and always checked on us. But we had to go ask for the bill because he disappeared for a while. Very clean and neat.

This chain is my grandma’s go-to spot for Mexican food in her area. They serve large portions, have a decent happy hour and the service is always exceptionally friendly. The chips and salsa are pretty damn tasty here. They make them in-house and you can watch them creating the tortillas throughout the night when you walk into the restaurant. The salsa is on the mild/hot side, but they also give you a side of refried beans smothered in cheese if you want something a little bit less drastic. It’s addictive and never-ending, so if you don’t watch out, you’ll be full before your entrée comes. For food, I went with their two crispy burrito combo that came with a huge heaping side of beans and rice. The burritos were more like flautas and came with a big glob of sour cream and guacamole. The avocado was pretty delicious. After gorging myself with the chips and salsa situation, I didn’t have a whole lot of room for my dinner. I did finish at least one and a few bites of the beans and rice and they were pretty tasty. Just be careful, the plates are super hot. Because it was her birthday, we had to celebrate with a margarita. I went with the the Sunset which came with muddled oranges, 1800 tequila, orange Curaçao, triple sec, orange liqueur, and their house margarita mix. I opted for the medium size which was 18 oz and it was more than plenty. In fact, I was having a great little buzz halfway through the meal and had to pace myself with some water to balance it out. The restaurant offers a large patio for when the weather is nice, however the view isn’t anything too fantastic as it’s close to the busy street. But if you want a chance to sit outside when you have the opportunity, I’m sure locals will find every reason to take it when they can. Being used to the amazing Mexican fare we have on almost every street corner here in Orange County, I have to say it’s not as good or authentic. But, for the area, it’s some of the better of the cuisine that you’ll find if you want something south of the border!

The staff here is extremely friendly and very quick to keep waters, chips, and salsa full. The food is good and the portions are quite big. While not necessarily«authentic», it’s still much better than Azteca — or any other Mexican restaurant I’ve eaten at in Kitsap County. The atmosphere and polite staff will keep me coming back. Oh, and the Mexican Pizza!

The tortilla chips and salsa are the highlight of coming to this restaurant… And that’s truly unfortunate. The service is mediocre, the food is bad. This is not authentic Mexican food. Taco Bell is better. Mexican food is not that hard to make. Authentic Mexican food is very hard to come by on the Peninsula. And this is no different. The fajitas don’t sizzle, all the food tastes the exact same, and the wait for your food is ridiculous… It’s also over priced for shifty Mexican food

YUM. I absolutely love Puerto Vallarta’s food. It’s pretty standard style for American Mexican but it’s always fresh and tastes great. WAY overpriced, though. even for the huge portions. And $ 7 for a regular sized side of guacamole? I could seriously make a BUCKET of guac for that price. The service is always good though and I love the atmosphere!

Super friendly staff, reasonable prices, fast food service(even on a Sat night), lots of cozy booths in the spacious new location, …I could go on. Typical faire done well, and huge platter-served combos. Lots for your buck! We were so happy with Saturday night(we split an enchilada plate and it was plenty) dinner came in on a Sunday for lunch(because the Flying Pickle was closed *sad face*)and found out there was the Sunday Brunch Buffet for $ 12.95. Tons of breakfast and lunch items. And some fairly decent options on the lunch side for the veggie/Pescatarian crowd. Non-alcoholic drinks are included with the buffet price. Bring a second stomach because, as if the portions alone aren’t big enough, they are very generous with the pre-meal chips, salsa and beans! If you go hungry here, it’s your own darn fault!

We’ve been stopping here for years and we love the pico de gallo! They have a new building next to their last location with a new tortilla machine where they make them right in front of you oh so super fresh! They are always friendly and refill our waters, sodas and chips without being asked. Pollo Carnitas are filled with chicken and lots of flavor. Delicious! We will be back.

I have eaten here several times, both in their old location next door and their new one in their very nice building recently constructed. The food is ok. Highly Americanized, way too much cheese but if you look hard enough and ask, you might get a bit of traditional food. I wouldn’t say that I’m a fan, it’s not a place I would go out of my to eat at, but it’s okay and it’s there if I ever don’t feel like cooking at home, so I can only give it 3 stars, it’s A-OK. Service has always been wonderful for me and the place has always looked and smelled clean. The bar is a bout rowdy sometimes, but it’s their cash cow so I get why their new one is so large. The addition of the tortilla machine at the front is pretty cool, my wife works at a local grocery as a tortilla baker who has the same machine, so I know how they are made and what is in them, but it’s a really cool attraction and nice to see. The décor is pretty cool, but the acoustics seem a bit off in there. On my last visit with family, my daughter ordered steak, asked for it rare, it came well done. This has happened to me in the past as well and, for me, is just a sign of a scared chef or cook in the back that doesn’t want to send out something raw or get someone sick, so they just overcook it. But, she paid for a steak and was asked how she wanted it cooked, if you’re going to ask, you have to deliver. My go-to meal there is the Aroz con Pollo, which is always cooked well and served with corn tortillas. They have frequent lunch deals which are nice if you work locally and need to pop in for a bargain lunch that will fill you up. If you’ve got nowhere else to go, which happens a lot in Kingston, not a lot of choice, then you will typically get what you pay for and will leave satisfied. I don’t like the TVs all over the place in the restaurant section, in the bar, fine, while you’re dining with your family, no.

Freshly built building. Staff is friendly and does well with special requests. Food is just a touch better than a typical Mexican restaurant. Can’t really compare it to other places because it is the only Mexican restaurant in town. I don’t like that liquor prices are not on the drink menu. Now for the bad news. Occasionally, you come across something I consider really bad. A couple of months ago I ordered a margarita and it was served in a filthy glass. I haven’t been back there since.

A-okay average Mexican food. Huge platters with rice and beans, sauces, and melty cheese. Very Americanized. Nothing wrong with this if you know what to expect. The margaritas are pretty good but are made with a sweet and sour mix so they are very sweet. We got the Sunset margarita which ended up being $ 13.50 for 18 oz. Considering the size of the drink it’s not an outrageous price but it would be nice if they listed the prices on the menus so you know what to expect. Chips and salsa are ok. The building is brand new. Bar area is a nice set up to watch a game. Service was friendly. I dunno, it’s okay. It’s just like Azteca so if you’re an Azteca fan you’ll dig Puerto Vallarta.
