If I could give negative stars, I would. I go to school in Providence and the mall has a Fuji Chen. Fuji Chen RI has the best orange sesame chicken I have ever had. I go there nearly habitually. I was so excited when I went home to Massachusetts to find there is a MA location of Fuji Chen. My boyfriend and I went to the location and bought what we usually get in RI; 2 double sesame chicken with white rice and a large soda to share. They charged my card 14.41 and we sat down. In minutes, we went back up. Our food was soggy and tasted off. The color was not right, too. We spoke to the manager who refused to give us a refund. Fine. How about a replacement for the food? He said no and got incredibly angry and frustrated with us. He told us to throw out the food. So I paid $ 14.41 for garbage, literal garbage. I am incredibly angry with how rude the staff was and how disrespected I was. Mostly when I’m a long time fan of Fuji Chen and drove out of my way to go to the MA location. In addition, the owner had NO contact information up about the restaurant. No names online, phone number, email, anything. When I called to see if my bank could cancel the transaction, they gave me the one bit of contact for Fuji Chen. It was a FAX. I was told to call the board of health on this restaurant. Thank you Fuji Chen for the utter disrespect, rudeness, disappointment, and overall stomach aches. You’re a scam and took my money I saved for a night out and as a college student, $ 14.41 is a lot for me. You didn’t have to scam me and take the few dollars I had left for a night to treat myself.

I went here on a Monday night in February 2015. The food had a strong chemical taste and was horrible. All three of us agreed on the chemical taste. We told the worker about our problem and that you could even smell the chemical odor. Our concerns were not acknowledged and we threw out our dinners. The lo mein was especially contaminated with something. Highly recommend avoiding this place. They don’t know what they are doing and have a bad attitude. Wish I could give zero stars

Worst experience ever. Ordered white rice with vegetable and bourbon chicken. Man adds water to rice, gives me last of watery vegetables and a nice size portion of chicken. Add a bottle of water for 6.83. Food was luke warm, rice had the consistency of mashped potatos and it was all around discusting. The chicken didn’t look right either. I went and asked for a new dish because I saw fresh vegetable was out as well as the chicken. When I said to the women behind the line the food was cold she told me it was impossible after sticking her finger in my rice then wiping her hand on her apron. A man wearing a blue tooth speaking on the phone comes over and tells me he’ll re heat in microwave. I asked for a new plate because his staff stuck his finger in my food and he told me nope, it was my problem. No refund. No new food. I left empty handed. 7 months pregnant with a crying 3 year old who was hungry and got so upset watching this man yell at me. I was humiliated and couldn’t believe anyone would treat a customer like that. Working in the restaurant business for 12 years I have never seen anything like that. I’ve also never taken a second out of my day to write about my experience on the internet. That short Asian man And his side kick were some horrible, rude and gross people who clearly hate their job. He was eating out of one of the hotel Pans of food too behind the counter when I went to ask for a new dish. Place hopefully gets shut down or burns to the ground with that man and women in it.
