Terrible. Food tasted microwaved, drinks were warm, and the waitress was rushing us. Food is good on contact but after about 2 seconds it tasted horrible. Floor is also filthy dirty. Gross place, only come here if your hungry on a road trip or hungover.

Lunch… I had fish & shrimp which both were pretty good. Mac n cheese was just ok. I usually love their hash brown casserole but today it was awful. It tasted as if it had been cooked early and was setting out on a hot oven all day to dry out. This location is close to my mother’s house and we go often, but if the food quality doesn’t pick back up to where it used to be, I will stop going here.

Friendliest wait staff ever! Great recommendations we got to try all the bread! First time eating here and there’s not one in California yet! Hope to be back again! Thanks for the hospitality !!

The Barrel. I’ve seen dem commercials on ESPN, HGTV, Food Network and every other cable channel for that matter. I don’t think we have them in So CA, so the first time I saw them and a Dunkin Donuts coincidentally was when I crossed into AZ2−3yrs back. But Pops and I were on a road mission, so he grabbed his Dunkins coffee(not impressed) and we kept it pushing. Now when I flew in to TN last month, no snax on red eye as I slept, so I needed grub. The Lovely Lady veers here and I can say, it was everything I thought it would be. Homey, down Souff hospitality like I just walked into Mayberry or a Designing Women episode. Loved it. Two eggs over medium, grits, gravy n buttermilk biscuits, hashbrown casserole and bacon. Not a huge eater but I think I downed everything. Broke up that bacon and put it in my grits, lil pepper n butter and I was set. Damn good. The waitress was great, friendly and attentive. I’m Noooot gonna gain the 10−15lbs the Lady wants to put on me… but this is dangerous/tasty food. I may be doomed. Btw, cool knickknacks, old timey sodas, candies, snacks throughout. Also cool toys, candles, plaques(I should get one for my mom next time), the usual UT memorabilia(eh, I can get used to it I guess), shawls n scarves. I’ll get some next go ’round Barrel

This is a typical Cracker Barrel. Everyone is friendly, the food is good. I rated it 4 star only because numorous times we never got the biscuits that came with the meal. And because it is always packed the food takes long. I also do not like that it is so loud in there.

The restaurant is hidden and not well seen. Had to turn around and come back. Small entrance sign. Other than that it’s a good cracker barrel.

Horrible horrible experience here nearly every time we come which is rare because of how bad these people don’t have it together. Anymore we will only eat here on a Wednesday night because I love the broccoli cheddar chicken and that’s the only time they serve it. However our server only came to our table one time and it was to bring our drinks and we never saw her again. We even noticed that The table next to us who sat down 5 minutes after us never got their drinks. My Husbands food came out with wrong side items but we never even got to address that because my food came out with black/burnt broccoli. When we sent my plate back, the server(not ours) took it and then brought it back to our table saying the kitchen told him that is just how it’s cooked. I couldn’t believe it! I have been eating that dish a long time and it’s never been served burnt. Not to mention I’ve cooked broccoli myself hundreds of times and I know what it’s supposed to look like. It was completely insulting and we left without eating and went somewhere else. No way they were getting my money.

I ate there a couple of weeks ago and was as usual surprised by the quantity of options available. My husband and I both had fried shrimp with various sides(you get 3 each!). I had lots of leftovers. I’ve never been disappointed at a Cracker Barrel. I did think the cocktail sauce was strange btw.

Since I was on a road trip, I have to stop by at least one Cracker Barrel. I had grilled blackened catfish with turnip green and brown rice. I love their turnip green and I can’t get enough of that. So Good! My husband had the country fried steak and my son had the country fried chicken. They liked their food and our server was friendly. We also bought a jar of their Apple butter as well.

Good food, waitress a little grumpy, inconsiderate. Didn’t pay attention, had to tell twice what you wanted.

This place is always a good choice for a reliable southern home cooked meal. Is it as good as momma’s? Not quite. But when you don’t feel like messing up the kitchen, this place is a favorite.

When I’m on the road I count on Cracker Barrels for good tasty food. During four days I stopped at three Cracker Barrels. I learned about the stars on their apron at the first one but this review is about the second one. This location was walking distance from my hotel. We knew we would get great service, great food and a reasonable price. We got two of the three. Like all CB’s the waitress was full of smiles and did a wonderful job taking care of is. The décor is also the same as every other location. But the food was not up to par. Both my coated chicken livers and my friends chicken fried steak were without seasoning and crunchy dry. Huge disappointment. The next morning, at our ‘complimentary breakfast’ we learned that two people from our group had food poisoning from eating there. I guess I got lucky.

I have grown to loath Cracker Barrel because like all chains their quality went thru the floor after the initial enthusiasm for a «home cooked» meal fell by the wayside. This particular location is an outstanding exception to the rule. I had the roast beef, carrots, green beans and Lima beans. They all tastes like grandma had just prepared them in the back. Server was also very. While I would never Unilocal about a Cracker Barrel this particular store is unlike any you will find in America. Enjoy!

Cracker Barrel holds sentimental value for me because I visited it with great regularity through my high school and college years, and I visit an establishment at least once everytime I visit my family in TN for the holidays. I always say consistency is key for any restaurant, and Cracker Barrel delivers on consistency. From country fried steak to chicken fried chicken to spicy-grilled and fried catfish, the entrees are always solid in both flavor and portion size. The sides nicely complement the main dish to create a southern homestyle comfort food experience. Tip: Try the hashbrown casserole – can’t go wrong with that one! Servers are usually decent especially if they have the 4 stars on their aprons(burgundy in color as opposed to the dark brown aprons to signify greater experience in culinary knowledge, food preparation and safety, and overall experience). Excellent tea as well! Finally, wherever you go, the layout of the Cracker Barrel is always the same. Unfortunately, they aren’t on the West Coast – pity!

This is a Cracker Barrel. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Well, not really. It’s not my Cracker Barrel, but there are many, many, many just exactly like this one. The only difference is, well, the others are in different postal codes. Yeah, that’s the kind of variety I expect from Cracker Barrel, a different Zip Code.

I’ll keep it short. Everyone that has been to a CB anywhere will tell you this one is exactly the same. I love the Sunday fried chicken, fried okra, turnip greens, and a sweet tea. Satisfying, close to the airport, and only a 30 minute wait on a Sunday. Fast, friendly service.
