I eat salmon here at least twice a week, always cooked perfectly. Very clean and friendly atmosphere. The waitstaff has always been top notch. Who ever manages this place is on point, thanks for great job.

We came for Easter Sunday brunch and had 12:30 reservations. We had to stand in the foyer and wait until they were ready to seat the 12:30 group. Then they sat the entire restaurant and everyone crowded the buffet line at once. I’ve never seen elderly people move that fast. The buffet was OK at best. The stuffed pork loin was good but a little dry. The ham was good. I couldn’t try the chicken and rice because it was all gone. The sides were bland and needed seasoning. The only good thing were the yeast rolls, but be careful of the little containers of «butter» because some contain mayonnaise. Dessert choices were coconut cream pie, chocolate cream pie, or cookies, all of which came from the Sysco frozen dessert catalog. My teenage daughter described the experience as «sad.» Honestly, I’ve had better meals at hospital cafeterias. The service was fine.

As usual, food was excellent, very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, their full time bartender has left and now a member of management is filling in and unable to keep up with demand. We waited 10 min. for our wine and almost gave up waiting for a second glass. Time to hire a real bartender!

I had the blackened catfish and it was mediocre at best. This is the first time I have been here and I will probably give it one more try. The staff was nice and the restaurant was very clean and had a nice atmosphere.

The restaurant here is pretty nice. I’ve eaten here a couple times now and it definitely has a country club member feel to it even though it’s open to anyone. I recommend the bread pudding, it’s apparently housemade and quite delicious. It has a nice view of the golf course and the outside area although as I sat in there looking around I began thinking about how I would decorate the room to make it look less bare and a little more appealing. Also other things I would add to the dining experience that would probably generate more business or at least more appreciation. The thing I was disappointed with though was the bar, it was very standard and definitely not a full bar. It had all the normal liquors. Vodka, rum, gin, whisky etc but that had no specialty liquors or mixers like coconut rum, Midori melon, or any other such ingredients to make other cocktails. You would assume every bar has at least the ingredients to make things like Mai tai’s but nope. The bar is only good if you want beer, or drinks such as rum and coke or vodka orange. The place could definitely use a new manager to change a few things around, decorate, and spruce up the bar.

I had the grilled chicken breast and my friend has the chicken fried steak and they were both so good! Big portions and yummy food. Definitely should give it a try.
