Fail! They will not order items for you from their website.
My elderly mother needed a new screen door. It is only available from their website. She was having trouble with the website, so she called this store to ask if they could order it for her. «We don’t do that» was the response. Even spoke with the manager she said again «we don’t do that». When asked why, she responded rudely, «it’s something we don’t do». Um, ok. Bye.
It’s not so much that they don’t offer the service, it was that they offered no other options. If one does not have internet or the website is down, tough luck.
Stewards Ace hardware does offer this service. They got our business and True Value in Killingworth will not ever get our business again.
You have access to the internet, you should offer the service. Elderly people need to shop too.

Home Depot? Are you kidding? Tom, Sr. actually sends me other places if he thinks the deals are better or he doesn’t carry it. Truthfully, with the beautiful new store, there really isn’t much he doesn’t carry or rent.
Between Tom, Sr., Tom, Jr, Jackie and the rest of the staff, there isn’t much you could «want» for after your visit. Check it out.
