My favorite places to grab a quick breakfast to go in Killington. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing and always consistent. The coffee is smooth, especially the Sumatra, grab a cup and pour it yourself. This is a small spot that can get busy, be patient. it’s worth it.

This place is average. if you need a coffee and breakfast before skiing then its OK but don’t go out of your way to eat here. expect to spend $ 20 for breakfast for 2.

We drove through Killington on our way to Stowe and made a stop at Sunup Bakery for lunch. Really great choice! I ordered a veggie burger on whole wheat bread with avocado and mustard seeds. Delicious!!! Also grabbed a chocolate hazelnut bread pudding muffin –another great choice. Was so fresh and tasty –ended up snaking on this at the top of Pinnacle Peak in Stowe. Good snack! A little on the pricey end but if you don’t mind spending the extra couple dollars, you’ll get all natural ingredients and a wholesome meal or snack.

Small bakery with limited seating, better to take to go. Muffins were very good, had a peach ginger muffin with large pieces of peach in it, it clearly wasn’t made from a mix. Also the muffin was a reasonable size, not an enormous more than a meal size. Staff was super pleasant. I got in just before a rush of people, the line can go from nobody to out the door quickly. I’ll definitely be going back!

I had the same breakfast sandwich(egg, cheese, avocado, and salsa) on a bagel(sesame) the two mornings that I was here for a vacation. It was so good both days and kept me full. Their coffee is also delicious. We were going to try a different place the second day, but they were so good, we couldn’t resist goging back!

The Vermont maple latte is probably one of the best drinks I have had. Such a cute place!

Always a favorite. I don’t go to Killington w/out heading here for breaki + lunch. Super fresh, super yummy — and hands down the best cider donut I’ve ever had. It comes out warm and holy shit amazing. Thanks for being so awesome!

Very nice bakery amongst the few options available in Killington. I like the environment, the maple caffe latte is a real gem, and the Boss Hug sandwich makes for a refreshing and fulfilling lunch on our long drive back to NY from the ski gateway trip. Friendly service too Will def come back again!

I am a Killington newbie and with being a newbie comes finding a spot to find a hearty breakfast before skiing or boarding. Traveling with a group of friends, we spotted Sunup Bakery and decided to take a look. We ended up grabbing breakfast here two days in a row! The first time I had the Green Mountain on a bagel. The sandwich was delicious! The eggs were runny, the bagel was perfectly toasted, and the bacon was cooked to the way I like it, chewy but with some crispness. Today I tried the eggs, salsa, cheddar, and avocado. I personally don’t like salsa on sandwiches, so I ordered the sandwich without it. I’ll admit, the sandwich lacked flavor because I thought it came with bacon but I was wrong. It was still good, as was the hot chocolate.

Espresso Bread Pudding Muffin I left a lot of space. I was going to make that my review. It stands on its own. Sunup is near the mountain(Killington). It is a great place to stop and grab breakfast to start a long day. Coffee, tea(in a fill up brewing pouch) or a sandwich(breakfast and lunch sandwiches were tasty) are all excellent. But… Espresso Bread Pudding Muffin

Okay so I only went to two places in Vermont during our ski trip but this place was great and I found myself looking forward to grabbing breakfast here before hitting the slopes. I recommend the pesto egg muffin(add bacon) as well as the espresso coffee muffin which everyone bit into and was like,(stare) «Whoa, that’s good.» Seriously. Try it. Their coffee is whatevers, but service is fast and friendly, and the space is cute.

We stopped by Sunup Bakery on our visit to Vermont and could not have asked for a better breakfast spot before skiing for the day. The staff was extremely friendly and felt like I was at home. Because the breakfast was so good we decided to stop after our ski day and get a coffee and a sweet treat. It just so happened the chocolate espresso bread pudding just came out of the oven. It was our lucky day because it was so delicious. If you have time on your trip Sunup Bakery is definitely worth your time.

Not bad, but they should have a better selection of bread to purchase. Sadly, the whole area is missing this vital ingredient. I stopped by to get rolls for sammiches and the only had one type — long roll bread — baguette style. It was OK.

I have been to Sunup three or four times now. I am going to try to be unbiased by my last experience here today, but it is hard I confess… Sunup has an advantage being the only place on the mountain to get a latte, and they really need some competition. Yes, their sandwiches are quite good and they do make a mean espresso brownie. However, every time I have come to the Sunup, whatever grouchy old lady they have at the front(no matter which one) seems to act like I shouldn’t be there and that they don’t want my service despite the fact that I’m about to drop 5 to 10 bucks… I don’t get it. The second time I came here, I ordered a triple latte. She made me a double and told me that’s what I told her to make. I should have given her a fight based on the fact that I’M the customer, but I walked away… Today, we had another old grouch at the counter and we ordered an iced coffee, hot coffee, and a smoothie. At the last minute, my little sister added a chocolate cupcake(forgive her for the inconvenience, but she’s 10). The woman seemed so visibly inconvenienced that my mom and I both exchanged the«what’s her problem?» look. So right now, we are at 3 stars. My sister brought the cupcake home, was enjoying it over the kitchen sink when she bit into something rock hard. Makes sense given the fact that what she bit into WAS a rock. Thank goodness she didn’t break her teeth on it! My mom stopped by to complain and she got a pretty unreflective«sorry» and an emotionless gesture of a refund with a few bucks tossed onto the counter, and then the woman walked away. I think the most telling part of this exchange is that the woman didn’t even ask if my sister was okay. I’m giving this place 2.5 stars for my last three visits and 1 star in light of today’s events.
