Amazing spot. By far my favorite Hawaiian place in the mainland! I’ve been coming here since I was first stationed here in 2004! Everything is so Ono. They make all the local favorites like Kalua Pig, laulau, Manapua, chicken long rice, poke, mix plate, musubi, Lumpia and so much more. It’s a must have if you are anywhere near ft hood.

Ate here for the first time. It was really good. I had the mixed plate. The chicken teriyaki was delicious. The brisket was very good, and the meat from the rib fell right off the bone. They have a few sauces to put on the meat as well. I enjoyed the the honey teriyaki and the spicy teriyaki. I also enjoyed the sticky rice and the macaroni salad. The service was very prompt and friendly. Definitely will be back!

Two can eat well for 16 bucks. I tried the Teriyaki Chicken and the ribs. The chicken was tender. The portion was generous. The sauce was light and flavorful. The ribs are smoked so well. It’s down to the bone. Meats already falling off the bone just by looking at it. When all the meat was gone; I chewed the bone. I replaced the rice and macaroni salad with fries. Some of the fries got into the sauce. It tasted good. All the fries got dipped. I will for sure try the rice and salad next time. Definitely coming back for more of that meat!

This is one of my favorite places in Killeen with 100% authentic food. Each time I order, I never have any issues. Nothing is ever cold, I never have to send my food back, and the meals are plentiful. I always have leftovers. The meat is just too good. We’ll prepared, tender, and full of flavor.

As always, the food is delicious! We always ask for extra cabbage and macaroni salad when we order the mixed plate with the 3 meats. Sometimes they have extra, sometimes not, so when they do, we feel like we’ve just hit a jackpot!

We ordered a sampler and 5 of the dishes they serve. A good way to describe the food would be BBG with an Asian flare. You get lots of of food with your meal but order the lumpia anyways. It was delicious. Definitely worth trying at least once.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots in Killeen. The place brings me back to Hawaii every time I visit and the food is always consistent. Try the salmon poke!

This place catered a meal at work and now I’m hooked. I always get the 4 meat platter because all of their meats are so good. Just an amazing meal.

Yes, definitely a returning spot for me. I took the advice and got the mixed grill with ribs. A good serving of everything and plenty of rice. Best thing I’m sure. I also tried the Loko Moko, but wasn’t too impressed with the gravy. It’s a little much and doesn’t taste like a gravy, but more of just a thick sauce. Not extremely flavorful either. If you like teriyaki meat and rice, get the grill and enjoy!

Ok so drove from Dallas to eat here and it didn’t dissapoint. Had the loco mock and the teriyaki chicken. And a Manapua. And all was good. Small place and parking is a little bit of a problem but give this place a chance. Food is yummy and price are reasonable for the portions you get. Also stock up on Aloha shoyu., and Portuguese. Sausage. And Manapua. And laulau. Can be bought frozen., love this place and will be back when I come back to town…

Man o Man, my boss who is the super foodie of the year had our staff meeting at the one in Copperas Cove… Lawd my waistline is mad at him. Ever since I ate there I’ve been hitting the one in killeen up on the regular. The parking is HORRIBLE but for that food I’d gladly park my behind across the street and strike out for this. That honey teriyaki sauce is the devil it’s their house special, I could drink it like kool aid, I’ve been trying to recreate it at home NOHAPPS. Try it you won’t be mad.

We only get takeout from here. The food is good and the staff is pretty nice. The place is in a pretty bad part of Killeen that I am not too comfortable being in after dark and the restaurant itself seems a little run down. It has some unique hours and is sometimes closed when you least expect it. But overall, I enjoy the place. If you are stuck in ‘the Great Place’ or the black hole of Ft. Hood, this is one of the better places to eat.

Got the mixed plate with pork rib. Brisket was too salty, chicken & rib were good though. Small cozy place. Not too bad.

Being from Hawaii, I’ll try my best not to be bias :) When you walk in it’s very homey & makes you feel comfortable right off the back. Lots of hawaiian & Polynesian themed decorations & hawaiian music playing in the back ground. The wait staff CAN be friendly. Depending on who you get I guess. One of the workers started giving me attitude when I asked about one of the items on the menu, then started talking to me like I was stupid. Other than that, all the other workers I encountered were friendly && helpful. The first time I came here I got the loco moco(rice, eggs, hamburger patty & gravy). The patty was on the dry side & had no flavor & the eggs were still runny. The rice was perfect, not dry or too wet. I also got a butter mochi & that was really good, very sweet & moist. The second time I came here, I got the kalua pig(shredded pig meat). With a little salt, it was perfect! Meat was moist & flavorful. They also sell candies from Hawaii here, a little more expensive than usual, but I’m guessing because of the shipping.
