Very nice store, great selection and incredibly friendly helpful staff. We bought a cool turtle painting and had it shipped home. It arrived with broken glass despite what looked like very careful packaging. We called and Banana Patch sent us to a local frame shop and paid for the repairs so we have the painting ready to hang with minimal delay. Banana Patch gets our highest recommendation.

Fun store with plenty of quality, not-so-typical, souvenirs. Customer service is tops. I emailed about a mug that turned out to be defective and was offered a replacement in less than 24 hours. I received the new mug a couple of days later!

Cute little shop and a great spot to grab a few souvenirs or gifts from your trip. I got a large banana leaf serving platter that is absolutely gorgeous!

You know those little ceramic tiles you see all over Hawaii? The ones that say things like, «Mahalo for removing your shoes,» and«I’d rather be on Kaua’i»? This is where they come from. Seriously, there is the vastest supply ever here. If beach-house-esque ceramic is your thing, Banana Patch is for you. Like plumeria? You can get them on a teapot. Turtles your thing? How about a serving platter featuring the little guys? If beach-house-esque ceramic *isn’t* your thing — like it isn’t so much mine — you’ll have to dig a little deeper to find the goods here. You can. Jewelry, home goods, Christmas ornaments, oil paintings, brass bas reliefs. Last visit we walked away with a really lovely bamboo cutting board. This time we didn’t see much that struck our fancy, tho, so I guess the ever-changing inventory is hit-or-miss. Still — one of the better places to pick up your more sophisticated souvenirs on Kaua’i.
