Después te vas a alguna fiesta. 3) Tenés los vales de Keystone de comida con descuento. No veo otra razón más para ir. Ah sí, las papitas con salsa.

When you end up at a restaurant that’s in a contrived ski village you can expect contrived food. That’s exactly what this was. Overpriced, salad plate sized servings, and just alright service. It wasn’t horrible, but it certainly isn’t worth going again. It was on the way to the gondola and we were hungry, but I’ll save myself the money and bring a picnic next time.

Staying in River Run means you have to drop by at least one of the places right in River Run Village for a beer and a drink. We happened into Parrot Eyes, with the idea that we’d get some Mexican food and maybe a margarita or two, as we’d stopped here before just briefly apres ski for a drink. This time was fine, but it wasn’t the best. We sat on the patio, and ordered a drink before we saw a menu and then we found out that they don’t have anything Mexican food related anymore, save for nachos. Their sign out front says«Parrot Eyes Margaritas and Burritos» but there’s nothing even close to Mexican food related anymore. The first margarita was fine(I had a second one that took almost 20 minutes for the server to bring out & I’m fairly certain was a $ 4 glass of sour mix.) I ordered a buffalo chicken flatbread pizza with bleu cheese and scallions. The ladyfriend ordered what the menu described as an exotic asian salad with crispy noodles, marinated chicken, romaine and iceberg lettuce with fresh pineapple chunks and sprouts, etc. Her salad turned out to be incredibly generic, and for a $ 9 salad it was a very small portion. My pizza tasted good, but was… average. it would’ve been better had it not taken 20 minutes for that 2nd drink to arrive. While it wasn’t absolutely terrible(nobody died, nothing was spilled on me, the server wasn’t rude) it just wasn’t a great experience. Next time we’re back in river run we’ll probably try out that new pasta place, or see what’s happening down at Kickapoo.

My review started out at 3 stars but the service just killed it for me. The décor is great, think Jimmy Buffet garage sale. They have excellent margaritas and the green chili is ok although it looked more red than green? I had a burrito that arrived warm but not hot not a big deal we alerted the waitress who found it necessary to explain that I had probably not taken into account that cheese is cold. I explained that I had opened the burrito and all the fillings were cool to warm only. She took it back to the kitchen where they nuked it in a microwave then she came back out and lectured me on how they monitor the food temps in the kitchen and basically I was wrong. While Parrot Eyes is not going to make your radar as a destination dining spot its a shame they hire such terrible help. The margs were good, the food was cool the help was bad. Its a great place to drink and people watch after skiing next time we’ll skip the food.

Will NEVER go to this place again. Cool place to be, but the drinks are way over priced and when they explained the pricing, they said«it’s what the bartender decided to charge.» Really a disappointing fact in our trip.

This place really sucks. It’s actually a pretty fun atmosphere but wait until your waitress tries to convince you that you should pay $ 100 for a 120oz margarita when a 32oz margarita is only $ 15. Then She tries to convince you that it was really 240oz. It’s all bullshit and I would not patronize this place ever again

We popped in here for a drink after skiing. The staff was quick on the drinks and friendly. And seriously how can you go wrong with a pick you own lobster tank? The house margarita was pretty tasty. The guacamole was good, salsa ok, and cheese sauce… well… it’s cheese sauce. Good place to grab a beverage and snack after skiing!
