This Publix has pretty much everything you need. In particular, it has a nice beer selection, but a better wine selection. My primary reason for coming here was the pharmacy. Thankfully they were very flexible when it came to helping an out-of-town customer. Made my life I alot easier. They also offer scratch-offs.

This is a nice new Publix that has just about everything you could want. The wine selection in this store is very extensive. The deli has plenty of cold cuts and prepared items, so you can throw a quick meal together. Prices are a bit higher than upstate, but not bad for the keys.

The store looks great on the outside but the inside feels cramped. There is limited natural light as well so it feels unhappy. I easily found what I needed, but my checkout experience was negative. My cashier was named Al. He talked cheerfully with the Customer ahead of me but when I spoke, he gave me abrupt short answers. I got the hint and stopped talking with him. Once he finished ringing me up… he hadn’t bagged my groceries, like he did for the other customer, so I had to actually ask him to.(Wow!) Then I had a heavy thing of cat litter, he didnt even help me lift it when he saw me struggling to pick it up. He might have had a bad day… but this was just upsetting for me. I may go again but I will stay away from Al or i may just stop at the other publix instead.

Really good grocery store way out here in the keys. The fruits and veges are cheaper than NYC. The deli and bakery are very good.

Nice grocery store, but I find Winn Dixie to be cheaper.

Publix is the best grocery chain in the Florida area, bar none. Best prices, best product selection, and best customer service hands-down. Since the wife and I were staying a few days in Key West, it was nice to see the green P on the island so we could stock up on some food and supplies. This Publix is quite smaller than pretty much every other store I’ve been to, however they somehow managed to cram everything in there. This was definitely the busiest Publix I’ve visited, as I’m guessing it’s the only major grocery store on the island, so it was frequented by the locals, and all the tourists. Great deli(Publix subs are AWESOME), decent fresh fruit and veggie selection, good beer and wine selection, and I believe they also had a pharmacy in this one. You can definitely find whatever you’re looking for in this store, and usually at a great price. Publix has some great BOGO’s if you time it right. I only shop at Publix when I’m home, and I’m glad I could stop into this store in the Keys. Definitely recommended.

I attempted to have my Vet office call in a prescription. Nicole called and spoke with«Jose» who is the pharmacy manager. After refusing to refill the prescription just based on general info(my name, Vet office/DVM name, script#), Jose belittled Nicole by calling her«babe» on 2 separate occasions and refused to refill the prescription without the DEA#??? She disconnected the call and called me to ask me to find another pharmacy due to his un-professionalism. I then called the pharmacy, introduced myself to the man who answered the phone as XXXXXXXXXXXXX and spoke with«Jose.» I explained the phone call my vet just had, he said that was him that spoke to her. He called me «buddy» on several occasions. He even said something in Spanish at one point, said I was being recorded when I asked him to speak slower and in English. He asked if I was making fun of his race??? I stated it would be his ethnicity not his race and no, I wanted him to speak English. If he is recording, there is no disclosure on your phone that you are taping, which violates FL Statute. In addition, he stated he would never fill a prescription for me again and hung up. I then called the Store directly(Key West, FL) and spoke with Marcia(Mar-see-uh) who stated that I would need to speak with his manager — Jaronda, did not have a phone number for her but I could call back in the morning to speak with the Store Manager — Kevin Piper. Unprofessional to say the least and Marcia implied that he has a history of being unprofessional and rude.

Always one of my first stops anywhere, when in the southeast part of States. They usually have Sheer Bliss pomegranate ice cream which is my all time favorite. Also got a roast beef wrap sandwich made at deli. Was very good.

Not the best publix ever although if you are going to/living in key west, you really don’t have much of a choice when it comes to grocery stores. The staff seems to despise their job and the few times I’ve been in their, they seem to resent it when you ask them something because the place is so hard to navigate.

This is your down south, run of the mill grocery store. Giant selection of chips and drinks for the beach. Fruit selection… soso. It is not open 24hrs.

This Publix grocery store is located in a shopping center called«SearsCenter», which sounds like a concert venue, but it’s not. This location has plenty of locals, complete with the Key West public bus drop-up in front. The employees were really friendly and the produce selection was pretty fresh. If you need to stock up on a few staple grocery items at a decent price, Publix is a better pick over W-D.

Very clean and well stocked Publix, with not too much of the normal«tourist markup» that you see in some other places here in Florida. Bought groceries here every day of my trip

i’m rating this place 4 stars based upon well it’s probably the closest to a supermarket back home and you are in KW. Things have to be viewed and experienced differently… maybe something for merchants to think about. I got by the totally rude deli counter person who was abrupt, and rude and realized like in the first review she either hated me or her job or both. A disgrace that management allows staffing like this. I was just trying to spend some money. Boars head cold cuts check. Reasonable cheese selection down the store aways. The store was neat, well stocked and produce far better than other places we went into. The problem is if you are staying down town it’s a real hike and even more so if you are on a little island in the harbor. But hey we made that choice. Cab rides will kill you in Key West if you become dependent. If you go shopping, get the cab drivers cell phone and call him when you are close to done. We spent close to 300.00 here and I’m not sure how it relates price wise to back home but probably about 20% higher. Lack of star for no recycle bags that you buy. I understand the Winn-Dixie is not as good but does sell liquor.

Well stocked, but the staff hate their jobs and it shows. Checker and bagger were complaining to each other and said not a word to me. Looks and feels like the DMV of grocery stores.
