I agree w Sabrina Anna C. I would give it a 3.5– but I umph-ed it up half a star because it was a treat compared to the other joints in S. Florida Live music during dinner. I am a New Yorker and the the second largest concentration of Cubans in America is New York! But the HIGHEST is in Florida. Oh! dear me! I have been looking allll over New York for yuca that was cooked to perfection as i had it here in Su Casa. It was cut into large chunks, slightly sweet, lightly salted and cooked to perfection– not mushy not crunchy, soft through and through! I canNOT find it here in New York! DARN! I always make it a point to eat here whenever I’m in the Key Largo because I LOVETHATYUCA! Between myself and my buddies, we’ve eaten roughly half of the entire dinner menu. The only dish everyone agreed upon disliking is the Pork Chunks. Everything else was so yummy! Sometimes, it was so crazy flavorful to the point where I couldn’t even handle the flavor factor in certain dishes because it was far too authentic!!; I am a Chinita from Queens, New York and unused to certain flavor bursts. Portions are very large and entrees come with two sides of your choice. I consistently choose the mixed rice and beans and the yuca– both yummmmmmmy! Drinks are good here and our bill came out to roughly $ 20 pp(including a few drinks and extra sides) Service can be reasonable to non existent Tip was already added(table of four)

3 — 3.5 Stars Dear Su Casa, We came here for breakfast around 11:30am and luckily we were still served because breakfast ends at noon. The service is a little slow, so off the bad I had to deduct a star. It took them quite a few minutes to seat 6 people with only 2 tables in the whole restaurant. Really!?! And we were hungry, so of course we waited. Finally seated, it took another few minutes just to get menus, but once we did receive them, we were all pleasantly surprised at the prices. A full breakfast of eggs, pancakes, french toast, or pork chops can all be had for the grand old price of UNDER $ 5.00! And they have home fries, Cuban toast with tons of butter, café con leche, etc. All the staples of a Cuban breakfast. They even have Huevos Rancheros, which is not traditionally Cuban. Overall the breakfast was OK. Nothing super great, but also not bad. They were out of home fries when we were there. But the eggs and toast were really good. The pancakes were also tasty. Oh, and when another friend arrived at noon(we had not received our food yet) they gave him a hassle about ordering breakfast. We finally won the waitress over and she agreed, but wow, what a mission. So, if you’re in the area, and you must stop, this place is decent. They advertise live music on the weekends, home-made sangria, and fresh seafood. Didn’t try any of those, but maybe next trip we’ll give it a whirl. Thanks Su Casa, but you still have a ways to go to be like my home. Regards, Sabrina*
