i gave this 4 for the view and the poblano sauce on my Mahi. it was great and a pleasant surprise. We did the table side Guac which was good,(make sure they use enough salt and lime), and went well with the homemade chips. The good ends here because my kids didn’t like the fish sandwich or the chicken fajitas. i tried a bit of both and agreed with them«flavorless». The view gives this place a 4, because we had a great seat outside with an awesome water view.

Great food, great prices, brought out three different kinds of salsa! Loved the barbacoa tacos! My wife had the crab and shrimp enchiladas and she loved them! Best key lime pie we have ever had! Great place to stop

The best place ever!!! The Mahi Mahi tacos are the best ones I have had in my life. Margarita did have a weird plastic taste but not bad! The view is great and so is the service!!!

Great tasting fresh Mahi Mahi! My husband had fish tacos with rice and beans. I had the fish salad. We always trade dishes partway through our meal, and we both agreed that my salad was the better meal. Fast service by Chris the waiter, and he was so polite. My husband has been there many times with a friend and now we will make it our to go spot while heading down to the Keys. The restaurant’s back porch has outdoor seating, overlooking the water.

Mufasa was awesome Saturday night and we had a party of 16! On the ball! Food was good and the Margaritas are delicious. Try the Patron margaritas. Goat cheese quesadilla is great. Went again twice this weekend, again Mufssa was on the ball! Thank you!

On vacation visiting my aunt, a group of us came to this resultant a few days ago. It was amazing! They were very busy,(it was cinco de mayo!) but very accommodating! We had a reservation, but showed up a little late. They still sat all six of us at a table on the deck overlooking the water and the beautiful sunset! The drinks were great, our server was awesome, and the food spectacular. I had the shrimp and crab enchiladas and was blown away. They were so delicious! The best Mexican food I’ve ever had, blows away any restaurant in my hometown in Ohio. Will definitely be back on our next trip to the Florida keys!

3 stars because the service was super slow due to a large party… margarita over priced for the size, queso tasted out of a can, salsa not spectacular. But the dos XX lobster tacos were out of this world GOOD and the view was beautiful!!! I’d come back but not for the service…

Great leisurely lunch in Key Largo. The fajitas were fantastic and a single order was just right for my wife and me. Chips came with 3 different salsas. The grilled corn was a great appetizer! Ask for Joyce.

Food was good. Waitresses seemed overwhelmed as it was AYCE taco night. Manager(owner?) needs to discipline or correct waitstaff in back. I wish they were educated as to what gluten-free means..

I am glad that we reserved ahead of time to watch how families were turned away even though there were a few tables available?! We invited our family friends for a dinner and were disappointed! We had a younger male waiter that could not remember who ordered what and could not keep up at all with the routine! Our drinks were not refilled at all! He got mixed up with adult drinks and forgot to bring two frozen drinks! So half of the party was waiting for us so we could toast! Did not tell us anything about ayce taco night, did not ask us if we wanted hard or soft shell?! Our kids listened to a young blonde girl explaining the ayce to her table! Tacos were soggy and cold?! The undertrained staff really breaks it for you! Last time we introduced a different local restaurant to our friends and they were back there a few times after! Instead of hiring parking ‘conductor’ concentrate on the food and customer care!

Ate outside and it was really nice… The salsa is weird I didn’t like it at all but I got the vendor corn and it was good… Could be spicier but the service and location was good.

Ok I went for AYCE tacos on Wednesday while in the area on vacation. The tacos were really good. You can order flour soft shells, corn hard or soft shells and choice of meat. Great price even. The problem and reason I am rating it 3 stars is because they have no clue how to handle a crowd. The staff acted as if they never were busy ever. I don’t know what was going on if it was just an off evening or what. Like I said we were just in the area for the holidays, but it was clear to me they never get too busy. If you’re hungry and want to eat then go there, just let it be known if they’re busy your service might be hit or miss. Oh they did have a nice place to sit outside on the bay too.

I ordered the brisket tacos. This was not brisket — it was the cheapest, stringiest beef I have ever had. I had to chew and chew to be able to swallow it. At the time we were there the temperature of the restaurant was seriously cold. We asked for the AC to be lifted as did a table near us. It was still freezing when we left.

Definitely recommend hitting up this spot if you’re in town. Awesome food, great margaritas, a variety of salsas, and guac that is made at your table. The prices are very reasonable, and some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in a while. Parking can get a little frustrating, so try to get there early to secure yourself a good spot.

Best Mexican Food Ever! That says a lot since we lived in San Antonio, Texas for 16 years. We have eaten out all over, recently started using« Unilocal» to find places to eat. My daughter and granddaughters wanted Mexican. So ok. The server James greeted us, Our server was Angela she was so sweet. We ordered gauc table side, it was yummy lots of choices to add into roasted tomatoes, pico, jalapeño, onions, cilantro, lime. tasty! Angela recommended Shrimp, crab enchiladas. They were Delicious and we All Agreed Steak, Chicken, Fajitas yummy! We tried sopapillas were amazing too! Cross between churro. You can sit outside on a deck, kids watch boats coming in and out. Servers were on top of service! Loved loved the restaurant. Told mylove if I missing he can GPS my car and I may just run away. I had the Best Mexican Food in KEYLARGO, who knew? Simply made our vacation thank you!

4 stars overall but 3.5 for food On our way to the hotel we stopped at Mr Beans for mexican dinner. The staff was friendly and attentive, we sat outside and watched the sunset. They were out of table side guacamole so we had the prepared Guac which was fine. The chips were fresh and there was a variety of salsa, I preferred the sweet/spicy one. At the servers recommendation I had the crab shrimp enchiladas. The crab and shrimp were very fresh and the sauce on top was good, however it needed something inside the qualify it as an enchilada. Cheese sauce or something but still good. The steak fajitas were tender and flavorful with 3 different types of onions. Rice was ok and the beans were bland, disappointing since it’s called Senior frijoles. Great view dining!

Señor Frijoles is my favorite stop on the bay. If you sit on the outside deck, you have a completely different atmosphere from inside. Nice to be on the water. Service is attentive without being annoying. Chips and two types of salsa are brought to the table. You can ask for their«hot sauce,» which does not automatically get served. It is HOT! I love the beef fajitas, the burrito supreme and grilled chicken tacos(Mexican prep). If you don’t want the beans and rice, order the tacos a la carte. Happy hour is 4 – 7 weekdays. Their margaritas are the best in Key Largo & just $ 4 on happy hour! Each one is made with freshly squeezed lime juice(yes, they really do squeeze their own limes). If you have children with you, ask for the cotton candy. It’s free. If you want cotton candy, it is also free. Prices are very reasonable with most dinners $ 10-$ 12.

We stopped in Señor Frijoles on a recommendation after a day of diving. We just wanted to grab a couple of drinks and a snack before a late dinner. We walked in and the place was virtually empty about 4:15pm. There were only about 6 other people sitting outside on the patio. I really didn’t know what to think about that. But we decided to go ahead and order drinks and have some chips and salsa. I ordered a Silver Margarita and my boyfriend ordered a UFO beer. We just stuck with the chips and salsa and ordered a side of cheese dip. They brought two kinds of salsa, a spicy and a sweet(which actually has a splash of orange soda in it for sweetness) — sounds odd I know, but it was actually good! The cheese dip was just okay, nothing fancy, and next time, I think I would just stick with the salsa. We sat on the back patio over the water. Prices were very reasonable and the staff were very nice.
