Ok… this place is hidden… it’s in the back of a danky vet bar… the cook was the only person serving… you would think from the look and location.. But the food was out of this world. A++++ I definitely recommend going there, but don’t expect anything fancy.

We are staying a single night at Key Largo and saw the reviews for the key lime pie and noticed that it was at a VFW, my husbands army we had to check it out. The Keylime was really good, We all liked it. Taking some home to Texas for our kids teachers we liked it better than Key West Kermit Keylime. We even played some card games at the Vfw and won some money.

We bought a Groupon for four slices of Key Lime Pie and four specialty drinks. We didn’t realize it was located at the local VFW so at first we were a little amused to say the least. Once we got back to our room with the key lime pie and strawberry smoothies; however, we were pleasantly surprised. This is hands down the best key lime pie EVER! Keep doing your thing Earl! Early is super friendly and even gave us a whole pie instead of just four slices. It will not go to waste!!!

Firstly I didn’t end up eating here but thought my review would be helpful. We didn’t really understand that the restaurant was in the VFW since the signage is misleading. Inside the restaurant is next to the VFW bar which has a typical musty bar smell that is in the restaurant side as well. There was only the cook working and he said he would be right with us but looked busy making orders. We glanced at the menus but didn’t see anything that looked great and we noticed the chef handling food without gloves so we left. Food might be good but the environment didn’t make it worth staying.

Hard to find, but a culinary gem. It’s in the VFW, on the South(southeast) side. The chef Earl is awesome. Food was great. Had the chicken fajita wrap and my husband had the jerk chicken wrap. We’d both order the same thing again, or try something new. Not a fancy restaurant; basic dining with good food. We’d go again! Thanks Earl!

The customer service was fantastic! We have people in our family with specific nutritional requirements and they were very willing to accommodate us. We enjoyed the pizzas — regular and gluten free — very much! A diamond in the rough for sure!

What an sweet little find in an unassuming building, do not judge this restaurant by its cover! Chef Earl is simply awesome, attentive, and truly takes pride in the food he is serving. As someone with celiac I am always happy to find a place that can offer some tasty gluten free options, and he created a gorgeous salad with fresh veggies and salmon. Super yummy! I will be going back for his gluten free cheeseburger. Oh and according to my 12 year old key lime pie connoisseur, he said it was ‘amazing!’

The sign is hard to see but Chef Earl really knows what he’s doing in the kitchen! We had the whole grilled snapper and whole rack of ribs and since it is so far from home, we had to order the jerk chicken sandwich and a whole key lime pie to go, too!(There was barely any jerk chicken left in the to go box cause it was too good to put down). Definitely recommend this hidden diamond of a restaurant. Thanks, Chef Earl!

My husband can’t stop talking about how good the key lime pie is and I would have to agree with him! Great service/chef! We will have to go back to try the rest of the food. I’m sure it will be just as delicious!

Food was cheap and amazing. Be sure to get the groupon for the key lime pie. The chef was very hospitable and thoughtful.

You blink and you’ll miss it — but you’d regret it! Chef Earl has a great gem inside the VFW — the Key Lime World Café has amazing food and a Key Lime Pie that’ll have you telling the world about much like I am now!!! So don’t miss out. It’s inside the VFW at 102255 Overseas Hwy, and sit down to talk to the chef over a delicious smoothie. I’m sure you’ll be writing more of the same. And I have to reiterate — EATHISKEYLIMEPIE!

Just go to the VFW in Key Largo and you will find the BEST Fish and Chips in the Keys. My wife had the Chicken Strips w/Fries and said it was great. These were not chicken strips they were breasts! Three huge pieces of chicken with fries and slaw. The most delicious, moist fried fish in the keys! Earl, the owner, is chef and server and very personable.

The restaurant was a little difficult to find inside a VFW building but was so, so worth us finding it. Earl is so warm and friendly and a really good chef. My granddaughter said before we went in that you can’t judge a book by its cover. The burgers and smoothies were delicious.
