This place is amazing. I’m so glad we decided to swing by and pick up food on our visit to Miami. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. I’ll make sure I swing by any time I’m in town.

The best food on Key Biscayne without a doubt. Could eat here every day of the week and twice on Sunday. This place seems to have a little something for everyone. The prices are ridiculously cheap for the size of the portions, which could easily feed 2 people. There is a reason why this place is the first stop in town. They got it right! If a local is in the shop with you, they are going to be served first. They clearly ignore you until they are good and ready so you can either wait or go somewhere else.

What an awesome place! Their Café con leche is the best! I get it all over the place and Oasis is the clear winner. This place is teeny but the food is sooo good. We came here every day when we were in Key Biscayne. We had the croquettes with jamon, the omelets, pork ribs(there were only okay), the fried fish with yucca(so so good), plantanitos(SOSWEET) and the flan. The flan was so tiny and inconspicuous and ended up being delicious. You must stop by if in Key Biscayne!

Awesome food, decently priced. under renovation when we went so seating/ambience wasnt great. But the cubano sandwich and cane juice more than made up for it.

This is a weekend morning staple. All the bike riders come here after their rides or at the half way mark. Also a great place to grab some cuban pastries before hitting the beach. What to get: — café con leche –cuban toast — everything Ps they have tables around the back on the right hand side

Stopped by here this morning to get breakfast before work. It’s a very tiny café, they have seating outside. A lot of the cyclist seem to hang out there in the AM. I got a fresh cup of OJ which was so delicious! And I’m not sure what else I got lol The lady behind the counter was very sweet and picked some things for me. She didn’t know much English and I myself don’t know too much Spanish but it all worked out. You also get a free croqueta for checking in!

I’ve recently become a regular here. I enjoy this little place. I’m glad there’s a place like this on the key. I’ve tried a few things and so far I haven’t been dissapointed. They have yummy empanadas & croquettes. It’s a bit crowded, but that’s due to the renovations the place is going through. Looking for a little cuban gem on The Key… definitely come in here. Also, it isn’t ridiculously expensive like most of the places on the key. Yesterday, I had a cup of fresh squeezed OJ and it was great! Also there coladas will wake you up in an instance and taste great. Look forward to more visits here. Everyone is usually very sweet and always smiling when I walk up. Can’t wait to see it renovated!

Great Cuban sandwich and fresh squeezed juices! It looks like they are building a much bigger restaurant, currently under construction, so the seating is all outside but it is shaded.

Expect rude service if you are not a regular or friend of the staff. I’ve been visiting Key Biscayne and Oasis for over 20 years; while I’m not a regular, I’m certainly a long time customer so I was shocked when I was treated so rudely today. While waiting in line for my coffee at the outside window, a guy walked right to the front and started chatting with the server(it was clear they knew each other), and he was immediately handed his coffee. My jaw dropped as I couldn’t believe that simply because someone was a regular, they were encouraged to cut to front of the line ahead of the other patrons waiting there. When I finally got to the window, I asked how come they let that guy cut in front of me and the other patrons, but the guy working at the window denied that it happened. Sorry buddy, I know what I saw with my own two eyes, and I’m sad to say I won’t be returning after receiving such rude service. Edit: I’ve received questions about my attitude and mood on this day. This couldn’t be farther from the truth. My family and I normally can’t wait to visit Oasis whenever we are in Miami. That was the case on this day: I was happy and excited to be there, thus the huge disappointment at the treatment I received. And, FWIW, even if the server truly never saw me or didn’t realize I was in line, when I complained, I was only given a shrug, not an apology. «I am so sorry, I didn’t see you, I feel bad you had to wait» would have gone a long way.

Best coffee in Key Biscayne and you must try an empanada. Watch out for the birds on the outside patio. They are brave and used to being fed by humans. I came to the Oasis Café looking for an authentic Cuban coffee in my way back from Bill Bigass park. The Oasis Café does not disappoint. Much like the Cuban coffee shops you find all over Miami, there is s pickup window outside and a small shop inside with lots of treats like areapas and empanadas. The coffee here is simply fantastic. Much better than any type of chain store(we won’t mention any names). Truly the best coffee I’ve had since I was in the Dominican Republic. It’s really really good. We also tried one of the empanadas(chicken) which were good but a little dry. Still good. Looks like they are doing some renovation here so this place may expand in the near future. Watch out for the birds on the back patio, they will come right up to you demand to be fed. Funny how brave they are. Don’t judge s book by its cover, the Oasis café has excellent coffee and snacks and makes for a great pit stop on the way back from a day at the park. A well deserved 4 Stars!!!

I had a Cuban sandwich for lunch. It was mediocre in flavor, but unfortunately I bit into a HUGE bone the size of a rock(the horror!). This is my first bad experience. I will come here again because the other food is good but I will NEVER eat a sandwich here.

We stopped by on a bike trip and it was pretty good. There is a bike rack outside that you can park your your bicycles. We came in around 12 which is probably the«peak» hour so we lined for about 20 mins. We had pork with bean rice and plantains. I really liked the bean rice; it’s very flavorful. I love the deep-fried plantains, though there were only about 5 little pieces. Oh and they have sugar cane juice! Love it!

Oasis… what a perfect name for this place. As in, this is a nice break from the hoighty-toighty upscale and overpriced establishments located on the island. If you want something that is no frills, authentic, affordable, and really good… stop here. We stopped on bike after a 3 hour ride. My friend needed some food and I just wanted a cortadito. The place was packed with customers, but we were helped right away. i ordered a container of freshly cut pineapple, a cortadito, and I was offered a croquette for checking in on Unilocal.I loved everything I ordered and really liked the Latin café feel to it… located in a more upscale neighborhood. My friend ordered a ham n cheese croissant, which they pressed for her. It was delicious. They have a really cute back patio for dining and when we walked back there I was eyeing everyone else’s lechon. Wasn’t hungry, but still wanted to ask for a bite! Def visit this place… it brings Miami flavor to an area in need of a reality check.

Within this small building hides a Mecca for Cuban food and coffee, rivaled by few and loved by many. Often times you will see a line coming out of the door, but don’t let that deter you, it’s worth the wait. The coffee here is generous and cheap. For $ 3 you will have some of the best Cuban coffee in all of Miami. Not a coffee person? Have some orange juice or a Guarapo(sugarcane juice) — both are made right in front of your eyes. The food here is authentic and delicious — try a pan con bistec(steak sandwich), a fried Cuban crab claw, a tostada or some puerco(pork). There are rotating specials such as Arroz con Pollo(Cuban style chicken with rice), Pierna(Pork Leg) or Croquettes — go crazy, the prices can’t be beat. Recently, the Oasis is under new management, however it retains the same appeal and quality that has kept it around Key Biscayne for so many years. Be aware that there is nowhere to sit and eat, you either stand at the counter or take-out. Key Biscayne is beautiful, so I suggest you grab some food to go and head to the beach or park. Saturday mornings you can also find dozens of bikers who meet here before or after their rides for a coffee and a chat. Be social and say hi! Spanish goes a long way here, but you can make it work if you only speak English.

The heart and soul of this island. People that grew up here and have moved away to other states will always come back and visit this home away from home. Whether it be for the coffee, the pastries or the family driven atmosphere. Something that keeps the loyals and locals here for decades. Get a pan con bistec, or a croquette sandwich. Get some coffee, a colada or cafesito. Couples staff members have been here for years and that’s why it makes you feel right at home. Order from the side window or inside. Now you have tables outside to the right. They took over the property next door to expand, which is very exciting. More space for a great location. Try the empanadas, they also have the machine to make fresh orange juice. Every item is very affordable. Definitely a must stop on key Biscayne.
