Church of the Resurrection Episcopal

If you’re looking for a parish in the Episcopal (Anglican) tradition and Kew Gardens/​Richmond Hill is a convenient neighborhood for you, I heartlily recommend the Church of the Resurrection.
The church is located on 118 Street, between 85 Avenue and Hillside. The back of the church is on Lefferts. (If you see it from the Lefferts side, you might think the church is closed, but it’s certainly not).
The Rev’d Gilberto (Tony) Hinds is priest-​in-​charge.
In addition to weekly services of Holy Communion, the second Sunday of each month is a healing service.
There are regular «Treasure Sales» and an annual Fall Fair (in November). There’s a monthly lunch for people over age 60 (please call in advance to be sure of a meal and to find the specific Saturday).
The parish community includes people from many parts of the Anglican world.
For a small parish, the music is amazing.
