Just Nails in Kentfield (NOT the Ross location) is the best. I have been going to this salon for years and I have not once been disappointed with a service. I used to see Michelle for acrylics and think she is still the best for a natural look. Lana suggested gel so that I can grow out my nails and strengthen them (I have the thinnest nails), and now I get gel every 2 – 3 weeks, going in less for a cheaper service, and my nails always look great. I see Lana and think she is the best. She spends so much time during the cleanup before polish, which at a lot of places will be rushed. Nails look so clean and healthy before there is even a color on them. Her polish is perfect! They look amazing every single time and last over two weeks. Lana is also hilarious and sweet, so each visit is always fun. I would recommend Just Nails to anyone!

I love going here… but only during their non-​busy times. If they’re busy, they try to accommodate too many people and then the service can take a lot longer than it should. During their non-​busy times, they give the most AMAZING massages. Love this place and will continue going.

Love coming here to get my nails done, usually for a pedicure and acrylic nails. Love their work! They are very meticulous and pay attention to detail and cleanliness. I really enjoy my time whenever I go, especially when I get the foot and hand massages with the service! Everyone that works there is great at what they do. Thank you!

I got a shellac manicure and I love the color, love the attention she gave to my horrible cuticles! Very happy with her work, paint job, nail shape and even the massage was nice. We had a good conversation and I will definitely be back to see her.

I cannot say enough great things about Just Nails. I have been a customer for 8 years and I always leave happy with perfect nails. They pay attention to detail and it shows. Michelle, Tri, Lana, it doesn’t matter who you get… you are going to have beautiful nails and the best massage ever!!! The place is always clean and between the new comfy chairs and amazing massage it’s hard to leave. They are good kind people and I am so glad I found them. They are my FAVORITE! I highly recommend them!

Loved loved loved this place!!! Came in here unexpected and tired desperately wanting a pedicure and Tri was super welcoming, he cleaned my toenails really good and gave me a 30min massage. So relaxing, Teresa then painted my nails a really pretty red she picked out for me and told me to stay as long as I wanted even though it’s 6:45pm and almost closing time at 7:00pm. Loved the place, great first time experience, nice owners, and very friendly! Coming back for sure, highly recommend it :)

This is my standby place and they always do a great job for both mani and pedi. And great massage… even a shoulder massage if there is time. All the staff is great… Michelle, Lea, Lana and Thuy. I was reluctant to do gel nails but finally decided to try them… they are great and my nails are not thin when it’s removed.
I would definitely recommend Just Nails.

I’m a longtime, loyal client of Just Nails. This is my pamper place. Very clean. Michelle & her staff are friendly, professional and do outstanding mani-​pedis. Lana is my gel mani Rock Star! She does meticulous work that last 3 wks or more! No other salon does the kind of pampering pedicure Just Nails does. I’ve fallen asleep more than once after the 10 minute foot massage that is a standard part of their pedi. Comfy new massage chairs, too. What I really appreciate about this salon is the personal attention from the staff, as opposed to most in the area that want to take your money and get you out quickly. I also love that they want to provide a relaxing experience for their clients and do not engage in the loud chit-​chat among themselves, as nearly every other nail salon I’ve ever gone to. Their prices, by the way, are very reasonable. Don’t waste your time going elsewhere. This is the best!

Michelle and Lana give the best mani-​pedi in Marin. They take the time to really look at the job they are doing, leaving my nails and cuticles looking flawless. I only get my toes painted, and somehow they look great even weeks later. Won’t go anywhere else.

Just nails is a lovely salon that does a fabulous job on my nails. After moving from the city I had given up hope of finding a decent place to get my nails done and then I found Just Nails. I go toLana every two weeks. She is does a great job and is always on time. The salon is clean. The whole staff is courteous and the new massage chairs are fantastic! I highly recommend this salon.

I cannot comment on the services, but I can tell you that the employees at Just Nails do not believe in competition and fairness. A new salon moved in across the street. Since they moved in the Just Nails employees have engaged in intimidation tactics like blocking the parking, yelling profanities and giving the finger to the other salons employees. They park or stand outside the salon, staring in in an intimidating fashion. This is certainly appalling behavior and probably illegal.

Hesitant because of a below average pedicure several years ago… but it was last minute and I got an early morning appointment, same day. Well I got the same awful pedicure again. Although the person doing the pedicure was pleasant, the end result was sloppy and for the HIGH price, it was a rip off… oh well I should have known.

BAD:
1: placed and set wring color of shellac manicure even though I expressed it was the wrong one
2: instead of using acetone-​based polish remover, the lady helping me file down the color (whenever I said I could feel the heat, she said she was almost done)
3: Poor shellac manicure and nails were so thin they started to break right away and had to be cut down to the finger tip.
4: four weeks later, when I went to have the shellac removed, I was told there is a charge unless I have the manicure done again (most places do not charge whennthey have been the knes placing the polish). I expressed that my nails are not recovered yet, but I would have the manicure next week, but they could care less.
5: There was never an apology or acknowledgement about their mess up.
Overall I feel they are short-​term money oriented and offer very poor costumer service.

Worst pedicure I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot. Sloppy paint job, no cuticle pushing or cleaning, no cleaning under the nails, no exfoliation… wtf did I just pay you for?
I’ll be charitable and say the massage was decent, but that’s not what I get pedi’s for!
Overpriced and under-​performing. I’ll never be back.

5 star foot massage by Michelle. I have visited and rated this place once before as just «average» but I will return again and again for the Michelle-​massage, even if the pedicures are so-​so. It’s clean, though kind of ugly, for a spa.
BTW, it’s been about 10 days or more and the pedi still looks good!

Time crunch.
I hate it when I have nail issues and don’t have the time. But I was leaving my yoga class and needed my nails fixed – quick.
I had been driving by this place several times, so I thought I’d give it a try. Considering my time crunch, it went pretty well. The nails ended up looking good. Grazed my skin just a couple of times. A little expensive, as others have said. But, I can only imagine what the lease would be on Sir Francis Drake in Marin County.
Got the job done.

Read the reviews, drive by everyday and my regular gal at my regular shop is ill so I decided to go, Very nice on the phone, got there and sat in not a very comfortable chair and the gal doing my pedicure seem to have an attitude, I just sat there than just as on other reviews mid pedicure the gal gotta up and than another one came to «finish» but she didn’t after the massage, another gal comes to polish.
I than go to pay, go to hand her my credit card and she asks for cash or check, another customer said «you take credit cards» and they say they don’ want to pay the fee for running my credit card!!! Goodness why accept credit cards, especially because when I called to make an appointment I asked if they take credit cards!
I will not return!
