Warren Secord Automotive & Tire Factory

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review already for these guys.
I came in a few years ago because of one of those oil change deals. You know… «buy one, get two free?» Being the cheap student that I am, I got the deal and got a chance to come to Warren Secord.
Ken and Lee are great at the front– if you don’t stop in for tires or work on your car, just stop and listen to their banter. I love watching them give each other crap.
Anyway, the work done here is great and they don’t try to screw you over. I used to hate auto shops with a passion– I always felt like someone was trying to overcharge me for something, but I can’t really tell how or for how much because I’m not super car savvy. Here, they’re transparent with pricing and keep you informed.
I’ll keep returning for work done on my car.
ps: they have a sweet Golden Chariot loaner car with a lot of character.

It all started with a nail in my tire.
I hate flat tires. I know that as life problems go, they rank far below disease or homelessness; but I hate them still. I hate them with an irrational hatred. And since a nail in a tire is often a precursor to a flat tire, I hate them, too.
I saw the nail as I was approaching my car, anxious to get to a meeting. The moment I spied that glistening piece of metal taunting me from the front passenger tire, the meeting lost its importance. What became important was that I get to a tire shop. Immediately. Before the «f» word happened.
I’d never been to this particular Tire Factory, but, having bought two sets of Nokian tires for previous vehicles (I love them as much as I hate flats – maybe more… but I digress) from other Tire Factories, and knowing this TF was nearby, getting to this shop was my sole focus.
Needless to say, I made it, and they fixed the flat. And rather than make me wait, they volunteered to drive me to my meeting – which I still managed to get to before it started. And they were so nice and so helpful, you would have thought I was a lifetime customer.
I don’t know about lifetime, but I sure know where I’m going to buy my next set of Nokians. Thanks, guys!

I’ve had a few services done here and all were completed well with great service. I had an ongoing air conditioning problem that could not be solved by two other local shops. They had it resolved in two hours and I was back on the road for my trip to Arizona. I have also had suspension air bags, basic oil changes, and coolant flushes done with a good experience. Prices seem average for a shop, not a great discount nor over the top. Don’t forget your AAA card for a discount.

Great shop! Friendly personal staff! They go the extra mile!
