Pure Escape Spa

Very disappointed with how unorganized this spa is. Confirmed a couples massage, with my card on file for Valentines and two days after setting the appointment they called to say they would not be able to take us at the set time. With having a newborn and setting a sitter for that set time it is disheartening. Hopefully with losing a few days of being able to call other spas we will still be able to find one that has availability.
They need to be quicker to do their due diligent to make sure they can accommodate their customers before confirming appointments and just how they would like 24 hrs of cancellation before an appt they should provide that to a customer after an appointment is set.

I have been coming to this place for the past couple of years to get a massage. I had every massage therapist at this place and Denise is the best one. She listens to what kind of massage you want, for how long, and anything that you don’t want to be done.
Why the 3 stars? Well… one of the gals gives out greasy body and hair massages. She is under my insurance plan so I didn’t really have much choice to choose from. I gave her a couple of chances to stop giving out greasified massages and remind her no foot or hair massages as well, and she still does it! It’s sad to say that she has been there from the very beginning, but it obviously shows that she doesn’t listen. Mind you, I never requested my hair to be oiled up the point that it becomes a mohawk. And… I requested a Swedish massage which seemed like she was clueless on how to perform.
Like I said before, Denise is the best person to get a massage from. I used to come here a lot, but after giving lots of chances for the gal to listen and change, I finally left.

Love this place love my aesthetician she’s really good Constance is very nice and good at what she does. .love her facials n waxing. My husband get his deep tissue massage n loves it. We tried different places before but this place is good, clean and close to home. The front office staff is very nice and friendly. I’ve been going to this place over a year now and I don’t think we will ever change to a different place thanks pure escape staff n Constance!!!

I was gifted some spa treatments last April as an anniversary gift from my husband. I had a lovely body exfoliation and wrap done by their esthetician, Ariana, followed by a hot stone massage. Wrapping up my visit I got a chemical peel by Ariana as well. I have always had acne prone skin and have scarring from my teenage years, and had pretty much given up hope of having «good skin.» After the peeling subsided I fell in love with this procedure! I have been back twice for a couple of additional peels and the results are getting better with each visit. Today I had the Image Perfection Peel done and it was fabulous! Ariana was excellent as always, explaining every step of the process, how the peel worked and what to expect in terms of recovery. I brought my daughter in with me for some extractions and a facial and she loved it! I drive all the way from Spanaway to visit this spa and it is well worth it every time. Can not wait to see the results from this peel, and looking forward to more in the future!

I was feeling some upper back tightness and pain and just emailed the spa to see if any availability and was able to get in same day, which worked great for my busy schedule. Had a great deep tissue massage today by LaToya at this Spa. Hard to find someone that knows how to do these type of massages. She was awesome. First time I have used her and will defiantly be going back.

Went here for my first ever lady parts wax (Brazilian). They explained everything thoroughly to me and put my mind at ease. I would recommend this place to anyone! Everyone here is super nice and very professional.

My wife and I have been customers of Pure Escape Spa for over four years now and we have always received great treatment and service from Lisa and the rest of her employees. We’ve found the place very warm and welcoming and we haven’t had a bad experience. We will continue to see Lisa (and the rest) in future years to come!

Wow! I was impressed!!! I got a certificate from a fundraising event and was pleasantly surprised by the relaxing facilities, very cheerful (and helpful!) gals at the front desk, and the amazing services that I received. I got a sugar scrub from Tony and have already scheduled a massage with her — she’s amazing! And then my Airbrush tan — so happy with it and am looking forward to showing my hubby! :)

I am a very happy client that goes to Pure Escape Spa as often as my check book allows! I often ask for gift certificates for holidays. I appreciate that the spa is always clean, the staff is very friendly, and I don’t have to worry who my appointment is with. Everyone there is very good at what they do. I also appreciate them combining with the Taylor Jay’s Tanning. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I went here for a leg wax, and decided to try sugaring instead. It was very painful (more than wax at least) and halfway through the first leg, the girl asked if she could switch to wax because the sugar wasn’t working well. The wax was still more painful than I am accustomed to.
I don’t know if it was lack of experience with the product, lack of experience in general, or just that «the room was too cold» as I was told, but I won’t be going back here, and I won’t be trying sugaring again any time soon.
I now go to Lemon Drop instead, and it’s the best wax I’ve ever had. SRSLY.

Love love love Pure Escape Spa! Great service from a great aesthetician named Ariana. She has done waxing and facials for me, and did a great job with both. Gave me great tips for my skin and recommended skin products. If your looking for a great, knowledgable aesthetician Ariana is your girl! :)

love love love. their new location is amazing. i had massage and facial, the pure escape package, and it was wonderful. the massage was perfect, perfect amount of pressure. and the facial was great. my skin was so soft and glowing. i made another appointment for a sugar scrub and spray tan. im excited.

Good service. Clean. 3.5 stars!
