It’s kind of funny and sad at the sametime. Whenever i frequent all the other places to eat in that business center… Magic flavors is always empty… Imo with good reasons. I actually avoid this place after going once…(Uh.once was enough and food tasted very microwaved… the very little amount I was able to try… keep reading to hear rest of what happened) We ordered the pasta sampler and when I placed the order… I was reassured that it’s plenty for 2… considering the price… I get back to my office and I see about half a cup of noodles and 4 other sauces that amounted to 3 tablespoons each… OMG! I called them as this obviously was a mistake considering I only saw 1 fork in there. This order was clearly made for 1 person… The Gal just basically told me «too bad».and there is nothing she can do about it… and that it’s not her fault that we eat alot… Just plain RUDE! I just ended up giving pretty much all to my coworker and went hungry the rest of the day… Which is very unfortunate because I pretty much order quite abit of food for a big local company… To the Owners of Magic flavors… You probably have seen me around… Yes I am that guy who drives that white Honda civic… who is almost daily going to green valley next door… Usually leaving with boxes and bags full of food… Well that could of been you guys… Only when you hire acceptable service and perhaps limit your menu so that you don’t have to freeze and microwave everything to order…(how do I know this? Because that gal who later ended up being very rude told me this when I was over there) will you see business turn around.

Their dishes are not anywhere near authentic. I ordered their BBQ Pork Ribs, the ribs appeared to be boiled and not freshly cooked, then drizzled with BBQ sauce. Their Cambodian Chicken Curry was very dry and they used the wrong kind of noodle. So far, I’ve only enjoyed their gelato and their service is very friendly. If they want their business to succeed, they will need to eliminate 70% of their menu items, then focus on making their most popular items better and more authentic, or find a niche and stick with it. At this point I prefer Green Valley, which is right next door, over Magic Flavors any day.

Omg! The food at this place is disgusting! I know why restaurants only have a few items on their menu. That is how they are made well. My daughter ordered swimming angel. It was Penang and gross as that. I had some«Austrian» dish microwaved disaster. Then they took back the pan and and she had crepes. Freezing cold weird flavor crepes. Supposed to be strawberry but so GROSS! The«gelato«was fine. But not real gelato. Luckily had a Groupon so it was cheap. Do Not Go! Okay the waiter was nice. Too bad he doesn’t work at s good place. He deserves too!

What a find! We live nearby and I had driven by many times and I was intrigued but hesitant. When I saw a groupon for here that gave me the incentive to try them. To say they have variety is an understatement. My husband had Hungarian Beef and Sauerkraut Goulash and I had French Red Wine Chicken. We were offered some samples to start with which were all fantastic. We also were served a large plate of Garlic bread. It had fresh parmesan on it and was to die for. We ate so much of it our waiter asked it we wanted more with our dinner. We of course did and received a very large bowl of bread. The dinners were both quite good and very large portions. The take out containers are bpa free and dishwasher and microwave safe which is a nice bonus. We even got a nice reusable cloth tote bag to take home our leftovers. Our total bill was less than the groupon I had bought. So we bought some gelato to try later. The service was exceptional as well. Our server was very attentive and took care of all of our needs. The chef came out toward the end as we were the last clients and he was also wonderful. I agree with other posters that they must make stuff ahead and freeze items but nothing tasted frozen and for the selection, price and service who cares. We will be back and will tell our friends.

I tried this place due to the reviews left on Unilocal.I was not impressed at all. The service was good and the full basket of bread was nice but it was a huge menu and the prices were out of range for the portions served. And it makes me wonder how they are able to offer all these menu choices and cook them all? The French onion soup was awful and so was the Mongolian beef. I thought it was a waste of money and my $ 30 could have been well spent somewhere else.

We bought a groupon and decided to try this new place near our place. I don’t know if we went on a bad day but our order took forever to come out. We arrived 7PM on a weekday. The lady took probably 30 minutes before she came to take our order. Then we waited another 45 minutes to get our food. The place was not packed… I’d say only 4 tables with families who were also waiting for their food. Not sure why service was SLOW. The children’s spaghetti that I got for my son was DRY! And some of the meatballs were still cold. You can tell that they were frozen and they just microwaved them. :( My husband’s curry was not appetizing looking either. I don’t think we’ll come back. SORRY!

Loved this place! The menu is huge which can of course cause option paralysis. However, it is impossible for someone to not find something they would like. Amazing deals too; boyfriend and I shared a bowl of goulash and it was only $ 4. We also shared the Cambodian panang curry. It was delicious but after the goulash and the large amount of yummy free garlic bread(not a bread fan but theirs is good!), we only ate half the curry and took the rest home. Also got some French red wine dish that was absolutely tasty. If anything, my only criticism is that there is occasionally too much pasta or rice and not enough of the meat and stuff in the rice/pasta bowl. Service was through the roof impressive. We walked in at about 8:30 pm and they close at 9, but we never felt rushed. We were the only people in the restaurant and we were waited on pretty much hand and foot. The place is not too big or fancy though it’s well-appointed, but the staff definitely made us feel so comfortable and homey. Also, hand packed gelato. Must-try. I can’t say enough good things!

Wow, 2nd time here and I will be back many more. Based on the menu, I can eat here every week twice and not have the same dish, but my favorites are the Malaysian Laksa, the teriyaki, or Texas BBQ Ribs and most of the Italian foods. Every had a thin crust gorgonzola pizza? Or real Gelato? And they are still trying new things! It starts out with a fantastic Garlic bread and free samples, Tapas and Salads, there specialty seems to be pasta and Noodles dishes, but they have sandwiches and burgers as well. Breakfast all day. Not all is perfect, but they are working on it to make it right!

Huge menu which makes me suspect the heavy use of the microwave. There is no way you can offer such a huge menu without frozen food. There are about ten different soups on the menu, which I can’t believe would be made fresh everyday. On the positive side the waitress was very nice, the garlic bread was good and the gelato was excellent… look elsewhere for food.

What a truly amazing lil place! My Girlfriend and I dropped in late one evening to simply try it out and haven’t stopped talking about it since! Amazing menu — twice as large as most any other resturant with variety you will not find anywhere else — Food was incredible, Service was beyond excellent and free icecream! This place is really awesome and always a good thing to support local small business! If your in the area or even if not, worth the trip!

1. Menu is HUUUUGE! And makes no sense. Would help them a lot to limit the amount of food items they have, and maybe just have a daily special. Maybe they should stick to international pizzas, and sandwiches. 2. The waitress we had didn’t know shit. We sat down and she plopped a bunch of samples and walked away. When asked what they were she had to go and check. Came back she still didn’t know or explain what they were, just told us names. She called a lentil soup, «ladle soup» 3. I’m a vegetarian, and they have a bit of veggie options… but I would not go to this place if you’re a vegetarian. I had some curry pasta thing… made no sense. There was even a hair on my plate. I went to this place because I really believe in supporting local companies. But I give it 2 stars because: shitty waitress, hair on my plate(which I didn’t mention, because I really wanted to like the place). And a confusing/gross menu… Not to mention a weird name. I seriously thought it was one of those E-cigarette shops, or something. Positive thing tho, they have a little market, which I thought was cute. And maybe I will go there for a gelato… but not food.

I was in the area and jumped on Unilocal for a quick bite. Against my better judgement, decided to stop in here for dinner. I ordered a french dip as I figured it would be pretty difficult to screw that up. I was wrong. The bread felt and tasted like stale toasted bread. It might as well have been croutons. The beef was paper thin and looked like leather. Whatever it was that the meat had been soaking in actually created a chemical burn feeling on my tongue. There was also a ton of parsley sprigs stuffed un the sandwich… this made no sense to me. Who puts a bunch of parsley twigs in a French Dip? The Au Jus had a strange flavor and the mix you can buy at QFC for a dollar tastes better. The most ridiculous part was that it took nearly 30 min for the«French Dip» to show up. I should have just eaten across the street at Mickey Ds and had some lab grown nuggets. I’m amazed that this place has all 5 Star reviews… hmmmm

Most amazing selection of food that is all delicious! The combo for 2 people for $ 20 is too awesome. 1 appetizer, any meal from the pasta, rice, soup stew section and a desert. You can share the dishes with a friend. They have free ice cream and did I mention everything is delicious? Will be coming back again and again!

We had dinner there yesterday. I was in the mood for Italian(Flaked Salmon Pasta). My partner was in the mood for Indonesian(Beef Rendang Curry). We were both very happy with what we ordered. The portions were generous and very tasty. We were also offered complimentary bite portions of some of their dishes, four bite portions of their desserts, and a delicious Garlic Bread basket. This is a great place to go when you want to try a variety of Ethnic foods in one sitting. Plus, if you go there during Happy Hour(2pm — 5pm), bottled beer is only Two Dollars! We will surely go back to enjoy the Magic Flavors they present from around the world.

Surprisingly good! I’m always a bit warry of the strip mall restaurant(probably unfairly, quite a few of them have been hidden gems) and wasn’t sure any restaurant could pull off 200 items from a a dozen cultures, but Val does it all and at a great price. I had some bruschetta with a variety of toppings and all were quite flavorful, «magic», you might say! :) I also had some of their homemade tirimisu gelato to go. Also fantastic. And all at a really great price!

This place is worth the trip. Fair warning, they have a variety of dishes around the world and hence it is difficult to decide what to eat. Eurasian Pepper Stew tasted like a Portuguese dish mixed with curry. Would love to have this again. Szechuan Spicy Sandwich was very tasty. I took normal spice, and it was was spicy, but not hot. The staff was super nice and the costs were low.

Great food with lots to choose from. It was hard to decide. I had the specialty, lasagna puttanesca and it was wonderful! Great flavor and very filling. They offer a meat or vegetable option in this. They bring samples to try some of the different items on the menu and the service was terrific. I’ll be back for sure!
