I went to pick up some food from a place nearby and accidentally saw their door was open so I just walked in out of curiosity. Later I found out on Unilocal that they closed at 3pm and it was almost 5pm but the owner didn’t kick me out. Instead, he gave some of the best customer services I’ve ever experienced. He even offered for me to try out some of their sweets and pirosky. The gentlemen was so friendly and patient. He answered every single questions I had about their desserts, explained them clearly(and again I felt so bad afterwards when I found out they were closed 2 hours ago!). The second time I think it was his daughter who greeted me and she was super nice and friendly as well. Out of all the sweets I tried, the Tiramitsu was the best so far! I had to come back because they sold out. The mushroom pirosky was really good too. Definitely come back for the Tiramitsu though! A small cute place with some good stuff and good people who seem to put their hearts into what they do. Excellent customer service, can’t say enough!

OMG! 1st time customer and super excited! Was looking for the best cake near my house and I found this place right here on Unilocal. What I ordered : Just placed an order over the phone for the(Strawberry Coconut Cake) made w/sponge cake, for this Saturday. Price: Varies, but mine was a 9″ for $ 41.06 after tax BEWARE you do have to make a deposit How to order : Make sure to call 1 – 2 wks ahead. They make their cakes from scratch, also check out their cute website for more options and info. Store Hours : Mon — Sat 8am — 3pm Sun — CLOSED Taste satisfaction and customer service : When I called, the woman on the phone was VERY helpful. Best of all my RUSH order was placed. Went in to get my cake and was immediately welcomed by a nice man. The cake was delicious, especially the buttercream! Will def be a returning customer. BTW, they have other goodies besides cake.

Just went here for the first time. Ham and cheese piroshki is excellent, the ham is a bit salty but normally I don’t like ham and I liked this, so that says a lot. The flaky dough of the piroshki is what really makes it, it’s like a croissant but better. As for the pastries, I’m disappointed. Oreo stuffed cookie is ok, nothing to write home about. Reese’s cookie is so hard I can’t even break a piece off or bite into it, so it’s getting thrown away. Thumbprint tastes like dough. Skylar(chocolate peanut butter no bake cookie) is good but very, very sweet, so after two bites I don’t want anymore for fear of diabetes lol. Customer service was good. I’d go back to try the other piroshkis but will definitely pass on the other baked goods.

Super yummy bakery. We felt it was Mediterranean inspired when it came to the food(the wraps are HUGE) but the bakery desserts were very Babarian-esque. Super yummy, decent prices, friendly staff, and they’ll let you sample literally anything!

I visit M bakery regularly for the last few years since their piroshkis are my favourite. Not even once have I been dissatisfied let alone disappointment. I am always welcomed here with a smile and their customer service is one of the best in area. Their food is freshly made and some of the finest quality ingredients are used in making it. They taste good, very healthy and makes you go back again. Thank you M Bakery!!!

I have been looking for a deli close to my work. I decided to give this place a try, I was not disappointed! I ordered the tarragon chicken wrap and a cup of borscht. It was all absolutely terrific, along with the outstanding service I was given. It was worth the drive although I will definitely take the suggestion from woman who helped me and call ahead next time.

I came here for the stuffed cookies. I was just browsing around on Unilocal looking at pictures of pastries, and came across some pictures of their stuffed chocolate chip cookies. They sounded and looked good, and I had to try them. My brother and sister loves cookies and other pastries, so I bought them some too. We all tried the Reese’s-stuffes chocolate chip cookies and the Oreo-stuffed chocolate chip cookies. We warmed them up, and we all enjoyed them. I would say I prefer the Reese’s one, only because I don’t care too much for Oreos.

.damn. Saw the reviews. Went to try the place myself. NOTDISAPPOINTEDATALL!!! I ordered ahead of time with the online app. Ham and cheese piroshki? Check! Mexican Coke? Hellz yeah! Double check! I get there and they are JUST bringing out some Tirimisu. Drool… Yes, please! The piroshki has just enough cheese on it — not overwhelming. Flakey pastry crust, wonderful fresh ham, drooling again!!! The Tirimisu was a delightful light custard, not too sweet, but enough to make you want to inhale it! I don’t have to tell you I will be returning to this little slice of heaven!

I’ve ordered lunch here several times now and EVERYTIME, it is AMAZING! It’s fairly close to my work, so it’s pretty convenient. Food: The food is just great. I’ve tried a lot of the things on the menu now. The wraps are easily a 10⁄10. I really suggest one of the chicken wraps. A few times, I’ve gotten the BLT wraps and they were hard to eat(just from the moisture while being cooked kinda makes it messy). The lunch special(borscht + cookie + piroski) is great and it’s only $ 7! Everything is extremely flavorful and yummy. Service: The staff there is always super friendly. I’ve never had a bad experience. Price: I usually pay around $ 7 – 10 for a meal, which is fairly reasonable. Location: The location isn’t great(mostly because it’s hard to find parking in that small lot). If they had another location in Seattle, I’m pretty sure I would eat there way more often. Misc: My only minor complaint is the fact that they don’t have plates/silverware. It’s all in to-go containers, even if you’re eating in. That’s not really a big deal and I completely understand especially if they’re doing that for financial reasons. You won’t regret going here!

Ordered a custom made coconut-strawberry cake. Awesome décor-just what I expected. The staff here are really friendly. Anna, the baker, responded quickly to my emails. As for the cake, I’m a bit disappointed in the inside. It was dried & too sweet for me… not fluffy & moist as I thought. I didnt see any fresh strawberry as mentioned in the cake description online. It was my fault for not taste testing it before ordering. Maybe that’s how the cake supposed to be? Might come back to try the pastries here.

I tried M Bakery today due to all the great reviews here on Unilocal, and was NOT disappointed! I was a little sad at first that they were sold out of the spinach and feta piroschky, which sounded so good. But I have to say that both the potato and mushroom/cabbage varieties that we tried rocked! The piroschky are a generous size for the price, and best part is the pastry… it is just so flaky, warm, and good! I have waited in line for a long time at a famous piroschky place in Seattle for piroschkys that were twice the price of these, and not as good as M Bakery’s version, IMO. All the sweets looked great too, but we went with the snickerdoodle and chocolate chip-peanut butter cup cookies. They looked deceptively small in the display case, but that is because they are very thick, rich and delicious. In truth, I wanted to but could not finish the(chocolate chip-peanut butter cup) cookie because it was so thick and rich. Just fantastic, and again, so much cheaper than anything you can get in the trendy bakeries in Seattle. I am lucky enough to live not very far from M Bakery, so I know I will be returning. I love this place! And I don’t often say this about suburban food establishments, but I believe they are worth the drive to Kent for the piroschky. They are DEFINITELY worth the drive to Kent if you are a city dweller who happens to be shopping at IKEA in Renton, which is just down the street from here. Just keep in mind that they close at 3pm, and aren’t open at all on Sundays.

Today I had the pleasure of not only having some of the best pastries I’ve ever tried but meeting one of the friendliest of hosts, who showed incredible kindness and generosity. I first came due to wonderful reviews on Unilocal and the desire to try the cake and cookie-within– a cookie dessert. The owner Vlad, offered me a coffee and wonderful conversation that you don’t find anymore. He told me all about how the pastries were made and said I could sample anything. The pecan bar was wonderful, as well as the cookies and baklava. I’m very excited to try the tiramisu as well! During the visit I saw how another customer was short, and he said to not worry about it and that he was happy to help. She was very grateful. With myself he made sure I was chock full of treats to take home and wished me a safe trip. His kindness and generosity and conversation combined with his fabulous pastries have made me spread the word to my co-workers in WA and definitely I will come back the next time I am here. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone who likes great food, and a warm, and welcoming place to sit back and take time to enjoy life. Thank you Vlad!!!

I’ve had cake from this location before from other gatherings and they were delicious! Great flavor! Nice and delicate, very moist and the decors they chosen were simple yet elegant. I just ordered my first cake… Extremely last minute 12⁄21 during he most busiest time of the year. They promised me they would do their best to squeeze me in. I knew there was a huge chance it might not be possible. Next day I get a call offering what they could do for me with such a tight schedule, which by chance was what I needed. Since my friends bday is on Xmas she added a slight touch to make it festive. Cake came out simple yet beautiful and smelled amazing!!! They make amazing cake all while providing the best customer service I’ve ever received!

I’m giving this cute little bakery & deli five stars for a few reasons: First, my daughter, Lily, and I walked into M’s and were greeted with wonderful smiles-first impressions. Secondly, while deciding on a sandwich the young lady behind the counter offered samples of the awesome looking pastries, bacon cream cheese carrot cake. I don’t eat meat, but Lily LOVED it. I just wasn’t in the sweets mood, but A+ for trying to feed me. Lastly, Lily ordered the pulled pork wrap and this was her quote(the real reason I wrote this review) «Mom, what did they put in this sandwich… love?) Along with many, many«this sandwich is soooo good.» So there you have it. Although I didn’t actual eat anything there watching my daughter enjoy her wrap so much was worth a write up.

Came in for a piroshky and it was given to me so fast! It was pretty cheap too and warm! For about $ 3 you get any of their selections of piroshkies. Today I got spinach and feta. The dough was so flaky and savory. The filling wasn’t scarce, just the right amount of filling to dough ratio! And it filled me up too. They have other treats that looked good as well such as baklava, tiramisu and some cookies. I shall come back to try more!

Great service, great food, great prices. I ordered a cake for my moms birthday and it tasted really good. I also called them a few times changing my mind on the design and they were really helpful and easy going about it. Thanks.

I have been wanting to come into M Bakery for a while. And I am glad I finally did. The service is great! The lady at the counter gave us samples to try along with a description of the Amrenian pastries she had on display. Very friendly and will be coming here again.

I know what the M stands for Marvelous Mountains of flavor Mui Bueno Miraculously good I had the BLT wrap, it was not like any other wrap I’ve ever had, those ones you can pick up in the grocery store deli definitely is not this wrap. Their wrap is such a delicious, delightful wrap, I can’t wait to try the other things I got. I definitely will be back!

Let’s first start off with the customer service, outstanding! The co-owner, Anna, was there helping us. She told us everything that she had in her bakery case, let us sample whatever & then explained the wraps, sandwiches & salads she had available as well. She spent a lot of time talking with us, making us feel like old friends & a lot of her regulars came in & she acknowledged them with a smile & helped them as well. Wonderful, wonderful customer service. I will definitely be back because of her. The food itself was yummy! The samples of the pastries I tried, we’re delicious. Everything is handmade & from scrap. The wrap I had, the blt, was full of flavor. They make it fresh as you order, & it only took about 10 minutes wait for 2 wraps. If you’re in kent, stop in. It’s not very big but you’ll love it. The food & the people working there.

Borscht, piroshkies, baklava(im allergic to baklava but I know how tasty many others think it is)! The place is small and gets crowded easily. They have a small bar you can sit and eat on, maybe do some homework. I got a hot dog and cheese piroshki, only because they were out of spinach and feta, and the ground beef. They were also out of the soup of the day, which was borscht. It was a little upsetting knowing everything I wanted to try was gone, but I settled for the hot dog. I was pleasantly happy with it! The hot dog itself was decent, but the bread was flakey and buttery. It was delicious! It’s not fluffy and soft, which makes it different from pike place’s piroshky piroshky’s bread. I really liked it and it came up to $ 3 even. I definitely have to try all the other ones. I asked if they could make coffee or if it was only drip, and the woman kindly let me know they’re in the middle of changing their coffee people, so as for now, they can only do americanos. Sort of disappointed me but I can understand that. One of the reasons why I gave this place the full five was how clean and cutesy it was inside! I loved it! their ingredients(at least their dairy) is local, and if you read my other reviews, you know how much I appreciate local ingredients! They use homemade butter for recipes. The workers seemed stressed(possibly because they were running out of a bunch of stuff) but they were genuinely very caring, attentive, apologetic, and had the greatest sense of urgency that I’ve ever seen! The woman felt so bad that they ran out of the piroshkies I wanted, and because I waited a while(which I totally didn’t mind at all), she gave me a free coconut macaron cookie! She explained it to me as «a mistake macaron». It smells and feels reaaallllllly good, but sadly I can’t eat it because I’m allergic to coconut. I gave it to my boyfriend and he says it’s exactly like the shell of a french macaron. The outside is crunchy but the inside is chewy. There was coconut flakes inside(that would have killed me), and it was pleasantly sweet without being overbearing. He also said its really moist on the inside and balances well with the crispy outside… He really likes it. I’m glad I found this place! It’s a great alternative if you don’t wanna drive all the way to pike place and deal with the tourist crowds. It’s affordable, tasty, buttery and flakey, and the service is out of this world. These guys know what to do with their pastry dough. This is a place I would want to support, and I’ve only been here once! I’m coming back for sure.
