Foss Audio and Tint

Went in to get sun window tint and I waited he told me about an hour to be finished i was only there 20 min1 Great place and friendly!

These guys are amazing! I had a sort of tricky stereo install due to a factory stereo/​navigation system that made it problematic. Joe is super knowledgeable and gave me several options. No pressure whatsoever on which system to buy. The price actually came in a little less than he originally quoted me. The guys did great work including making a trim kit from scratch so that it fit perfectly. I’ll never go anywhere else. Remote start is next! :-)

i asked if i can cancel my appointment 3 days before my car tinting because i had an emergency i need to do that day and if can i refund my $ 50 downpayment. At first they said its non-​refundable but it wasnt indicated on my receipt or the paper they gave me, i said okay and i put a one star rating here on Unilocal because it was so disappointed i wasted $ 50. They called me back and say i can refund it but I NEED TO MAKE SURE I WILL REMOVE MY ONE STAR REVIEW, and so i did! I waited weeks and weeks and weeks after for my money but UNTIL NOW THEY HAVEN’T BRING BACK MY MONEY AS THEY PROMISED. So i will just put back my one star rate to them now. Fair enough. NO CREDIBILITY.

A few people recommend these guys for my head rest DVD player instalation, I’m glad I took their advice! The guys were supper nice and goty car in and out and even fixed something that wasn’t scheduled! Will totally come back again!

These guys completely messed up my car.
This did happen a little while ago but I got my windows tinted from these guys. They didn’t do too bad but when I got my subwoofer installed it went way downhill. I got my car back but upon investigation they screwed the amp to the back seat of my car and saw that there were holes and screws poked through the armrest. They did eventually fix it they said it would take about a week to fix so they took out the seats of my car and ended up taking about 3 months to fix so I had to dive my car with 3 seats in it for about 3 months

This place is awesome. My husband and I were referred here by a neighbor who has had all of his cars tinted here. They’re always busy, so when you schedule your appointment, expect to set it out a few days. However, I’ve had 2 attempts by employees afterwards to bump up my appointment when they’ve had extra time. Ian was very professional and Mike made sure to inform us on all the dos and don’ts afterwards. They even put little stickers on the window buttons to make sure we don’t ruin the tint accidentally. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Had to go in today for services on my car and can’t say how refreshing it was. Mark is one of the nicest guys I have met and so are the other guys (unfortunately didn’t get their names) they make sure you’re as comfortable as can be while you wait and are just straight up friendly as well as professional. I will definitely return and recommend this place to anyone I speak to. Thanks guys :)

I been going to Foss Audio in Kent for the last Five to Six years. These guys are the best kept secret around. Joe, Josh, Todd and Ed the owner knows me by name. I had my boat done with two amps, two subs, deck and eight speakers done. The sound is Awesome! Then I brought in my limo and the did two drop down 13inch DVD’s lights, deck and speakers. I also brought in three of my personal cars. For get rest and use the Best! Foss Audio!

I came in on May 7 2015 a little after 10am. A young lady was helping a customer. She was helping with an instalation payment. As I was waiting, I noticed a 4 year old kid playing on/​around the check in desk. Taking a closer look… there was also a 4 month old infant as well. None of this really bothered me. But it took over 20 minutes for this young lady to even a say I will be with you in a moment. As I was patiently waiting…2 customers came in and left. The reason I can here is because you guys have good equipment and excellent installers. But you person behind the desk needs to act and DRESS more professional. Looks like she was going clubbing after work. And find a baby sitter. I will take my paycheck to Car Toys. «A better way… to go!»

Awesome, clean, fully functional working alarm/​power door lock set up. Have a swapped car and they figured out what I needed and hooked it up. Great price and people, couldn’t ask for any more. thanks!

We are very happy with Foss Audio in Kent. We arranged to have a new media player installed in our trailer because the «almost new» player already installed wasn’t working. The trailer is still under warranty, but after several trips back to the dealer, they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the stereo. We decided to try Foss and we picked out a new media player and made an appointment.
These guys actually saved us money! Instead of installing the new unit, they figured out what was wrong with the unit we already had — and they fixed it! They saved us over $ 200.
They did an excellent job fixing our media player. They were friendly and professional and they did quality work.
We will definitely come back to Foss Audio again if we need this kind of work done in our vehicles or our trailer. And we recommend you do the same.

Well done, folks! I got a small amp install done here, and they fit me in amongst their other appointments and got it all done in an hour. Affordable, quick, and good at keeping you in the loop on the install.

Absolute garbage. I’ve been ripped off on nearly every single job I’ve had done here. I first came here over a year ago to have a system installed, which ended up working fine, though the wire used was way too narrow for the power output. A few months later, I had a full tint done which also has been problem-​free, so far. Things started going downhill when I came in for a remote start system they had a deal for on groupon. Ended up spending over 400 so I could have everything on one remote with no need for a spare key. They finish the job, go outside to test it and find out the trunk release doesn’t work, to which they tell me I have to spend an extra 30 on having the relay added. End up paying for it, a couple weeks pass and my dash lights go out. They tell me they were already getting ready for a replacement, though the fact it all happened within a week of the install looked suspicious, especially since the lights would flash several times whenever I unlocked or locked the doors. They charge 50 for the light swap, which most places charge more for. So I went with it, then within a couple more weeks the center console lights go out, and I get the same thing they told me before. The remote didn’t work half the time, even when standing two inches from the car. I finally get fed up enough that I return it for HALF my money back (labor excluded) for STORE credit. I come in several months later for a rear speaker swap, and just found out the left one is putting out absolutely no sound, and now it’s working a day later. Don’t ever come here unless you really don’t respect an honest business that does what they say they will. I’ll be going somewhere else from now on.

I bought the Groupon deal for the remote starter and the keyless entry. I was not sure how it was going to go but when I got there Joe and company took care of me. Dave was the installer that put in the product and he was professional the whole way! Very helpful and knowledgeable of his craft and seems to love what he does. I got a great price on my install because since my car is a stick shift they had to put in more hours of work. Regardless, if you are looking to get any stereo install done I definitely recommend this location. The staff is very knowledgeable and very kind. I will be coming back and they earned my full loyalty! Thanks again Joe and Dave! you guys ROCK!

I absolutely love this place, THEY ARE THE BEST !!
They have Tinted my windows and installed my husbands new stereo, they never try to over sell you, for example I recently went up there to have my Garmin and a Separate USB Cigarette lighter Charger hard wired to my battery, I was so tired of all the cords I had in my car and instead of the $ 200-​$ 250 I expected to pay they only charged me $ 43 dollars. What a deal !! now my car is cord free and they didn’t even try to talk me into a new stereo which would have had the charging stuff I needed.
I have recommended this place to my friends many times and they all have walked away happy. Anytime I need anything done with electronics, tinting etc this is the place to go.

This shop is a true diamond in the rough. The outside of the building is a little boring but inside reveals the true quality of the shop. It’s been remodeled since I started coming here and the new displays look amazing. The guys inside have been there a long time and it’s nice to continue to work with the same people every time. It’s obvious they love what they do because they light up when they talk about all the new technology. Joe found me a new head unit that had iPod and Bluetooth and a 3 year warranty installed for less than $ 250 installed and Kasey’s install was fast and clean. Once again, a great experience. I would recommend to all my friends.

I went here about 2 weeks ago and got my windows tinted and a new stereo deck installed. I could not be happier with how great the tint looks and the quality of the stereo and Bluetooth mic install. This was my first time here and they treated me like family. They showed me all the options and made sure I got exactly what I was looking for. The install was completed in about 2 and a half hours and when they were done they gave me a full demo and showed me how to use everything. I will not take my car anywhere else from now on for any stereo or tint needs.

They do a good job here, and beat Cartoys and Bestbuy on installation rates. I bought 4 speakers and a little Alpine amp for my new Nissan there. I wasn’t happy with the speakers, so they gave me full credit for the speakers and installation, and exchanged them for better speakers only charging me the difference. After a couple visits there, I am happy that they listened to me, didn’t get annoyed, and did what they had to do to make me happy. The new speakers were a better match with the amp, they tuned it just right, and now it sounds excellent for only 4 6.5″ door speakers. They do stand by their installations, and I appreciate that!

I’ve been here in the past for my car audio needs and their dedicated, quick and knowledgeable service never disappoints. Friendly and quick installation, Joe was a cool dude and very helpful recommending a new stereo that best specified my interest /​bang for the buck (even made sure the price was even more reasonable!). Provided a Clean and Quick installation, then ran me through all the great stereo features making sure i left a satisfied customer. I’m extremely happy with the installation. Joe is the man!
