Benson Center Veterinary Clinic

I took my dog and cat there. Started in 1995. They took very good care of them. For 12 years. It was nice going in and Doctor knows your name. When it was time to put them to rest the compassion they showed with the loss of a member of our family. They sent a condolence card for each. That ment a lot.

Dr Mike and staff are amazing. We have been bringing our lab in for lazer treatments & the improvement has been wonderful. Highly recommend.

Not a huge fan and I’ve been going for a few years. I went just recently because my cat wasn’t eating or cleaning herself. They gave me meds to help her appetite but ignored her being dirty, even when I specially asked. I brought her to a groomer today and I hey said she has burn butt and had probably had it for awhile. I will no longer take her to this vet. Most of the assistants don’t know was going on. One lady with glasses and short hair is really sweet and helpful.

We have taken our dog to this vet 3 times. And I wanted to like them… I really did (especially since the Vet is a WSU Alum)…but they drove me away.
Why?
1) You state your hours are 7:30am (and your sign says «open») and yet the Dr. doesn’t get there till 45 minutes later? How does that work?
2) You state your hours are till 6pm (again…your sign says «open») and yet the Dr. was gone by 5:15? What the heck?
3) You don’t even try to figure out what is wrong with my dog instead giving me drugs to give him to «calm him down»? What?
4) You refer me to a Vet down the road because «they are open later and have a dr. there» and yet you don’t give THEM courtesy call to even SEE if there is a vet there! (there wasn’t one).
Just not good people skills or business skills. Do NOT recommend this veterinary clinic. If you need one in Kent… go to McMonigle Veterinary Hospital over on Central. They’re awesome.
