This place went out of business recently and I’m not surprised. Went in there once when they opened up and the bartender was quite the airhead flakey type and the person making my food had no business being in the culinary arts. They seemed as if they never wanted to increase business and we’re looking for more of a hangout. Also, from what I could tell as I would drive by from time to time that they attracted some pretty wretched people.

As far as Kenosha pub food goes I’d say this place is pretty great, but maybe I’ve just been spoiled by the great places to eat in Libertyville and Chicago… Anyways I’ve had thee honey bbq boneless wings, the texas slider, the fried mac n cheese bites, and a pizza from Snapfire. Pizza — greasy thin crust pizza places are a dime a dozen in Kenosha and I have to say Snapfire was one of my favorites. While the sauce was a tad overpowering I’d still say everything else about it was pretty good. BBQ Boneless Wings — The chicken was a little on the tougher side, but the batter was pretty good and stayed relatively crispy despite being soaked in sauce. Speaking of the sauce it was actually pretty good, but for a honey bbq it did have a weird pepper-like undertone. Fried mac n cheese — My favorite of these is by far The Cheesecake Factory, but these are bad for a bar snack. The cheese sauce seemed to have a hint of spice to it as well and it went nicely with the hot sauce provided. Texas Slider — It was pretty mediocre as a package, but I think most of it is just me figuring out I actually don’t quite care for BBQ sauce on burgers. Every aspect of the burger was good on its own, but I think I would of enjoyed a plain slider more. At the end of the day I’d eat at this place again. Compared to most places in this price range it is probably a 4 or a 5 out of 5!

Big sliders — mushroom Swiss were tasty and my son loved the classic(gone in sixty seconds good). I had the pizza which was crispy and perfect. I tried the Margherita with tomato, basil and garlic. Also tried the boneless wings which were really good — and I don’t usually like boneless wings. Honey BBQ sauce was even good. We also had a salad — real lettuce! Perfect. Except for the Drunk at the bar everything was perfect. Bartender and staff were very nice. Also very reasonably priced. Look forward to our next meal.

My first experience with Snapfire was so good it is upsetting to have to rate them so badly after our second try. We ordered 2 pizza’s and wings for the game and after bragging about Snapfire’s food, our group definitely decided something was wrong with one of the pizzas. Both were ordered the same but with different toppings. One was limp and one was firm and crunchy. Hey, mistakes happen but … The pizza didn’t get(1) star the manager/owner did for poor customer service !! Maybe it was a bad night but Snapfire has lost our business. It’s too bad because we are new to Kenosha and really wanted a new local place to call our own.

Great food and friendly service. Just what kenosha needs. I had the buffalo chicken salad which was fresh romaine and not a cheap lettuce mix. It was great. Hubby had the sliders which were wonderful. Bartender and cook checked on us and truly show their commitment to making the place successful. Hope it sticks around.
