This old-​fashioned store is a pleasure to have around. I hope they survive for many years. Employees are nice and helpful. The store has a good supply of just about everything a hardware store would have, but does not carry a large variety of anything. If you are shopping here for the basics, you will find them. But if you have sophisticated projects or need lots of variety, you might need to make a second trip to a larger hardware store. This is a great place to have in the community. I encourage you to buy here, if you have the choice.

True Value is mid– century Americana at its finest. The staff is very helpful and down to earth. Parkside True Value store is in immaculate condition. Everything is blocked-​and-​faced and makes the store shoppable. You’ll easily zip through the aisles and find exactly what you’re looking for. Though they don’t have the capacity of the larger, big-​box hardware stores, the stock on-​hand is more than enough to help you complete that project or tackle the DIY home improvement. Stop in, say hello, and find a little more than what you came in for.
