We really like this place. We haven’t had a bad meal after eating here several times in the last year. I love the stuffed shells! The staff and family are very friendly and welcoming. Their homemade Italian salad dressing is amazing!

Great enviorment and great Italian food. A bit small, but was always a nice family dinner before an IT Hawks game across the street… You see it from the outside it looks like any normal plaza, but when you go in it is very inviting…

I’m writing this review for two reasons (1) because I saw the negative reviews and completely disagree, AND (2) because I truly feel that this place has THE best thin crust pizza in town (if you’re looking for a traditional red sauce pizza, that is…). Frankie Ds is right up there with Villa D’Carlos and Carl’s Pizza (which is owned by Villa D’Carlos, I believe). I would be so so so so sad if Frankie D’s went out of business.
Also, to add to their pizza credibility, I really like the sausage that they use on their pizza (it doesn’t taste chewy and gross like other pizza places in town).
The negative reviews seem to be about the sandwiches (which I’ve never tried), but I absolutely love their pizza.

This is a difficult review to write because I really liked my meal. I ordered a Meatball Bomber and a side of Mojos. Unfortunately, it took 25 – 30 minutes to receive my food. I don’t know the process here but the only people in the place were me and a table of 3 people. Being familiar with running a restaurant I presume the meatballs were already hot and ready to go in the sauce and mojos take about 2 – 3 minutes to prep in the fryer. It’s just not possible it could take 25 – 30 minutes to prep such a simple meal. Whatever the reason I highly recommend this place fix the process. If not it will kill this business. Lunch breaks are short and swift service is imperative. In summary, the place is spotless, the server was kind but the wait was absolutely intolerable and inexplicable.

I really wanted to like this place. Looked like a neat little place. I ordered a beef bomber and wings. The order took almost 25 minutes to make which working in a kitchen myself, seems kind of ridiculous. The wings were awful, you get 6 of them for $ 6. Way over priced and not worth it. I ate two and didn’t care to eat the rest. The beef was phenomenal. I would go back for that alone. The bartender was nice but was more interested in her friends at the bar than the other customers. It took about 5 minutes to get a beer refill. There was an owner or manager or someone of importance at the bar drinking and he was just loud and obnoxious as can be. As I said, I would go back for the beef but that would be it.
