I recently bought another pair of shoes. I went back a couple of weeks later because I was having a small issue with the pair of shoes that I bought. They fixed everything in under five minutes and went WAY ABOVE AND BEYIND to make me happy. Great prices, great shoes, exceptional customer service. This is the only place I will ever buy shoes.

This has been the only shoe store since 1998 I have used. They have top notch shoes, salesmen and other products. You will have to pay a high dollar for these shoes but they are well worth. They offer American made shoes not cheep crap. I have problems with my feet and with their certified people they are a God send. Go people go and get the best fitted shoes you will ever wear.

When I went into Chiappetta’s I was impressed with their shoe selection and the many unusual shoes they sold. I had entered their store because my mother had ordered her orthopedic shoes there. They needed to be custom made. She was not happy with her shoes but they insisted saying it was only that they were new and she needed to wear them awhile. She said she knew about the fit from other places. They argued and she left with shoes she didn’t want. I also bought a pair of boots there took them home walked with them 20 minutes inside my house and tried to return them. They would not give me my money back and when I called and talked to the owner he hung up on me!

I went in today looking for one or even two pairs of good, everyday walking shoes. After picking a couple that I liked, I asked the fellow helping me if either/​both of the models I was trying on had a smaller than normal heel (they were New Balance and some of New Balance’s shoes have, by design, a narrow heel). I’d worn a narrow heel from New Balance before and it gave me a lot of problems after a few weeks so I wanted to avoid repeating this mistake. The salesman assured me that neither of these two models were a last that had a narrow heal. I told him that I wanted to research the shoes a bit more at home before making my decision. It’s a good thing I did, the two models I tried on (the New Balance 989 and the 1540) are both narrow-​heeled models. While I don’t think that the salesman was intentionally trying to mislead me, I do have to say that he seems to be misinformed and was about to misguide me into two pairs of shoes that would’ve caused me problems. So, buyer (s) beware and don’t trust everything they tell you here. Do your own research, just to be sure.

I went here for the first time today and I was incredibly impressed. Nick was very attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure that I walked out with a pair of shoes that I was very happy with. I never felt rushed or pressured, there was no urging towards the most expensive shoe or anything, etc. It was really just about finding the shoe that worked best for me, and I felt like I could take as long as I needed to make that decision. I really appreciated that.
I walked out feeling like I wanted to stay and buy more shoes, just because it was such a fantastic experience. And I typically hate shopping. I will definitely be back again.

The absolute best shopping experience I have ever had. The staff is knowledgable, patient, and super helpful. I went in unsure of what I wanted and Tony took time to show me a huge selection of shoes, explaining the differences between them. I will never go anywhere else to buy shoes.

I love this shoe store. All the guys are knowledgable and friendly. The brands and styles are fantastic. They carry a great selection of european shoes. The shoes all last a long time; the styles are not über trendy so you can wear them for years; they explain how to care for the shoes; and they are able to give you great suggestions based on style as well as fit. A true gem. (And they carry a great Smartwool Sock collection!) They also carry accessories — italian leather handbags and jewelry at great prices.

Taking my mom to shop at Chiappetta Shoes was one of the best retail experiences I have had in YEARS! As a trained Pedorthic Technician, I wanted to go in and see what this store was like. They were well-​staffed, well-​stocked, super professional and less expensive than the nearby big-​box stores. They offered the best customer and my mom and I each left with a pair of shoes. This is the kind of family business that is doing it right!

I called from CA to find a specific brand & model of shoe in my width (Zeira Jacklyn, Med). It’s been a tedious search. But, Tony at Chiappetta went the extra mile to inquire on my behalf. What a guy! :) He also mentioned a new brand (Earthies) that would have just what I was looking for. He turned out to be right.
