I visited this store on Black Friday. I bought one cardigan but was charged for it twice. No big deal, those things happen. The problem is when I returned to reconcile the overcharge I was told by the ‘security guard’ I needed get in the line of nearly 20 people to get money back. If I were initiating a return or exchange I suppose that would be okay, but I was overcharged and simply trying to get MY money back. Once I finally got to the front of the line with my crying and fussy baby I mentioned to the manager that the setup was inadequate and he simply shrugged his shoulders and said it was a corporate decision and out of his hands; no apology or responsibility taken. So, to reiterate waiting in line a line of 20 – 25 customers to fix a mistake made by the store is unsatisfactory. Hopefully ‘corporate’ can make adjustment related to this store expectation. Disappointed,

I’m new to the area and was appalled at how different the service is at this old Navy than any other in wa and Arizona. Not only will no one say hello to you or help you unless you literally yell heellllloooooo… they have the worst checkout I’ve EVER encountered. Every weekend it takes a minimum of 20 min to get rung up. The line is huge and only one or two cashiers. It’s ridiculous! I normally shop at an outlet and even on the famous 40% days I’ve never encountered such a mess. I strongly suggest old Navy transfers an experienced manager out here asap.

Good luck getting any sort of guest service at this location. Poor service and rude employees! I recently moved from Seattle to the Tri-cites with my husband, Old Navy in the NW is amazing. I’m not the kind of guest that asks«Can you check in back for me?» or any other time consuming questions that retailers hate. I simply saw a line of skirts on their online store and wanted to check if they carried them in store. I made a run to the mall to grab a few other things. When I entered the Old Navy, I was ignored, no hello or acknowledgement of my presents at all. After three slow round trips in the store with out anyone asking if I was finding everything okey or a person even present to ask a simple question. Once after going to the front desk(no one there), went to the changing rooms(no one there), finally I found a employee with the Old Navy name tag on that was working in the jewelry section. She was on her cell phone texting,(extremely unprofessional on the floor of a business), I asked if could interrupt for a moment. She put her finger up signaling she was busy. I was instantly upset but waited until she finished her text message because I had been looking for someone to ask a question for 20mins with no avail. After she finished her text she said«I only work in jewelry I don’t have any answers about clothing.» I was yet again offended and didn’t want to treat her poorly like she had done me, I said thank you and moved on. Walked around again, found no one. I felt without buying the few things I picked up and without the skirts I tried asking for over 30mins to see if they carried. I would love for Old Navy to contact me( ) to make sure the locations management is aware of the issue at this store. Or to make sure Old Navy is aware of the poor training at this location.

Meh. I was in desperate need of some new shirts. Though I hate the mall, I remembered that Old Navy had some pretty nifty shirts for a good price. So I grudgingly got in my car and drove to the stupid mall. I made a B-line for Old Navy once there. «Just get in and get out» I told myself, until I got distracted by some new cars on display. Cars always distract me. Anyway, I finally made it to the entrance. «Finally», I said to myself, «I can get some cool shirts so the ladies will think I’m ‘cool’…why does everything have ‘surfing’ on it?». Pretty much every shirt they had was the same style and design, and that design was«surfing». Huh? Maybe I just wasn’t looking very hard, but I swear, the vast majority of shirts had the same, or similar design. I found one graphic t-shirt that I liked, but it was way more expensive than it was worth. Which brings up another question: When did this place get so expensive? It used to be that you could pick up a t-shirt for $ 10. The lowest priced thing that I found was $ 16. I headed for the check-out line only to find only one open and a line half way toward the back of the store. No thanks. I put the shirt back and went to Kohl’s(after being distracted by cars once again) where I found a nearly identical shirt for $ 6 less than at Old Navy and another shirt similar to one at Old Navy for $ 10 less. So really, Old Navy isn’t worth the hassle of going to the mall. There are better, cheaper alternatives.
