Francisco’s Bakery

The prices fluctuate throughout the day. One day something is $ 2 and the next $ 4. They need to stick to a posted price. The pastries themselves are usually good.

If you like red velvet cake at all, Francisco’s red velvet cupcakes are a must try! They are a favorite of my husbands and it’s where I go and what I get for special celebrations. The staff are always very friendly when I pick up the cupcakes. My only suggestion to this establishment would be to update your phone system as I always have problems when I try to call in an order.

I was really looking forward to trying this place, and finally got around to it. I had a braid donut and a scone, and my mom had a Bismarck donut and a scone. My braid donut was really soft, fresh, and delicious. Also, not too sweet like Krispy Kreme. My mom said her donut was soft and fresh as well but said there was very little crème filling inside which was a bummer. Also, the scones were good, but nothing really special. There wasn’t as much filling inside as I would have liked and the pastry wasn’t super tasty.
All in all, I will probably go back and try some more of their donuts, because my donut was super good! The prices were also pretty reasonable which was nice. But the Bismarck wasn’t great and the scones were only average.

LOVE this place! Employee was super helpful and friendly. The baked goods were fresh and amazing! I will definitely be a regular from now on. I usually drive to Viera’s and this bakery is much closer to home and more convenient.

After having enchiladas for dinner this past Saturday night, it seemed entirely appropriate to stop at Francisco’s Pasteleria to pick up some dessert.
Francisco’s is one of the finest bakeries I’ve ever visited. For starters, I was impressed by the vast selection available so late on a Saturday evening. While there was the typical selection of sweet Mexican baked goods, including conchas, there were also items like maple bars and doughnuts for those customers with gabacho preferences. Francisco’s also had these Stromboli-​like items containing ham and cheese.
I opted for a slice of pound cake, a «turtle» and a «Bavarian Crème cone.» Each item was fresh and tasty. The pound cake was moist and dense with a pleasant robust vanilla flavor.
The «turtle» was a flat circular roll of caramel (and maybe a little toffee) and walnuts embedded in chocolate (available in either milk or dark chocolate). Decadent and delicious. The «Bavarian Crème cone» was a bread/​croissant item shaped like an ice cream cone and filled with Bavarian crème. I’m a sucker for Bavarian Crème and loved this confection.
The young man operating the store was friendly, engaging and very helpful in his suggestions.

Great donuts, they are priced reasonably and way better than going over to albertsons. My husband got me a birthday cake from here a few years ago and it was delicious! I still think about that cake. The staff is friendly and not over bearing and I like that. Donuts are self serve which makes it fast to get in and out with little judgement on how many maple bacon bars you are walking out with :)

Cake pops and the pretzel rods are my must-​haves. Red velvet cake pops are so incredibly moist and the pretzel rods are dipped in caramel and then covered with chocolate and sprinkles. Love that this bakery is open late and they have a huge variety of desserts to choose from.

Womderful! We got bread for sándwiches and 2 turnovers (guava and coconut). They were delicious!

Randomly found myself in the Tri-​Cities with some friends and we were craving something sweet so I asked a random guy where we should go and he sent us to Francisco’s. I’m glad we listened! What awaited us was case after case of delicious pastries. My group got several cookies (the one with M&Ms being a particular standout). The donuts we tried were all great (especially the little donut man that I posted a picture of), so tasty! Some other reviewer compared the donuts to those you find at the grocery store… honey I think the Hanford radiation has affected your taste buds, because the donuts at Francisco’s bear no resemblance to that garbage! The purveyor was super friendly and attentive. Great prices as well, for all I got here I’d probably get one lonely donut in Seattle! I’ll have to go back when I’m in the area and sample the various Mexican pastries as they looked delicious as well. Highly recommended.

Simply the best in Kennewick

Cute little locally owned family business. Plenty of pastries to choose from and nice customer service. I tried the carrot cake cupcake and the cake was very dry. The frosting made up for it though. Nice and creamy and not extremely sweet. I would go back again to try some other selections.

We LOVE Francisco’s Bakery! We have tried the doughnuts and some of the pastries. They are all really good. My daughter’s favorite doughnuts are the ones in the shape of a person. I like the bacon topped maple bars myself.

Oh man, YUM!!! I have to force myself to not stop here pretty much every time I drive down Clearwater. I have yet to go in the morning, which is prime doughnut time… but even in the afternoons they’ve had a decent doughnut selection and they are yummy!
They have other baked goods… try the cake on a stick! Try some of everything actually! Just not all at once… that’s not the best idea, I would know. ;)

My review is based on the chocolate cupcakes. It was a chocolate cupcake with whipped icing topped with chocolate truffle and sprinkles. It was so good. In fact, I just sent my husband to go get us some for dessert! They had a ton of choices and it smelled heavenly. I can’t wait to try more pastries!

This is a nice little bakery with tasty treats ranging from donuts to customized cakes. They also have muffins, cupcakes, cookies, turnovers, cinnamon rolls, and mexican pastries, most of which are in self-​serve cases. Pepsi products and milk are available to wash down your treats as you sit in the small dining area. This review is based on the few donuts we tried.
The thing preventing this place from a higher rating is price and taste. The donuts are about on par with grocery store donuts in regard to taste, but I was disappointed to find only a small teaspoon amount of custard inside my bismark donut. That said, the price is considerably higher. Overall, I don’t think we’d go out of our way to come here again.

Well guys I thought Spudnuts was the best Doughnut shop in the Tr-Cities…wow I was incorrect… Francisco is the man! I went in for a few snacks and was blown away with the wide variety he has to offer… on top of that he offers the best customer service I have experience yet since my arrival to the Tri-​Cities second only to myself of course… highly recommend this place for a nice not too heavy doughnut that packs the flavor and makes you want more… FANTASTIC! I feel happy and fat #PascoGetFatCrew

I love this bakery! Every morning, on my way in to work, I drop by and buy two iced sugar cookies (yes, they’re my breakfast!). The staff is so sweet, and once when there were no cookies available, she called the baker out to speak with me personally to explain why my favorite food wasn’t there! The food is delicious, the staff is great. Francisco’s is my favorite bakery, period.

OK… so I knew Francisco’s had the bomb baked goods, but we ordered a cake for our daughter’s 2^nd birthday from this place and it was AWESOME! He custom made Dora and her friends on the cake! They looked amazing! I can’t believe he can do it free hand! The cake itself was delicious, we got ½ white cake and ½ chocolate cake with cream cheese filling, and the whip-​cream frosting was delicious! Top notch in my book. So anyone needing a cake for any occasion… stop by Francisco’s Bake Shoppe! The price was great (only $ 35) and it tasted even better!
