My companion ordered the Pot Roast lunch special and I got the Celtic Nachos. I should have gotten the Pot Roast. The Celtic Nachos had the liquid cheese on them instead of ‘real’ cheese. They were well stacked and covered with chopped chicken so quantity wasn’t an issue. I’ll try it again.

This place is really neat and a great concept– however the staff is terrible and the food is blah. Probably not returning.

The food was horrible, would not visit the restaurant again. Had the pot pie and it was tasteless, my friend had the Salmon and had the same complaint.

Paddy’s has slipped. It must if changed management as the people have changed as well as the décor. It’s just OK as of July 2015. I hope this downward trend doesn’t continue. Cheers

When Paddy’s first opened we went often. Good food, music and those great free vinegar chips! The staff was familiar and great. Like a fun family. But the soul has left this place. The food isn’t as good and there is new staff every time we show up. We hate to see this cool neighborhod pub go this route. Oh, and the free chips are no longer free. Sad.

It was the most horrible experience ever. There is nothing Irish about this place. The food was an excuse with Irish attached to some of the names. Staff unfriendly unless you were a regular there. Don’t waste your time if you are looking for an Irish pub.

I visited Paddy’s for the first time today & really enjoyed it. Upon entering, I noticed that the establishment was well decorated and very clean. Plenty of seating to accommodate larger parties. They have a big outdoor patio that lets in the sunlight, yet is covered so that you don’t get cold. I got there before the rest of my party & took a seat at the bar. The bartender, Lindsey, was super friendly & told me about the beer specials. She took the time to make me feel welcome & comfortable. The service area behind the bar was very clean. The owner was hands on– checking on all of the patrons. She was friendly & funny when she took the time to share a quick joke with our table! I was really impressed with her:-) Pros-plenty of big screen tvs for football, delicious salt & vinegar chips, good beer special prices & friendly staff! Cons-had to send the food back:-(based solely on presentation. I never send food back unless absolutely necessary. I didn’t order anything else. I was impressed that both the server & the owner came over to inquire about the issue. Neither made me feel uncomfortable & both let me know they understood that the presentation could’ve been better. Thank you ladies! Based on service, I will be back for drinks:-).

Shepherds pie was the worst I ever had. Bland with a gravy poured on top and microwaved carrots and peas on side. Very disappointed. And the soda bread was made with rancid flour from the taste. Unfortunate since the hard cider and service were decent. I was just looking for a place to eat while I waited on my kids at a party at Bounce U. Avoid this one if you’re looking for dinner with your drinks.

Every time I have gone I have encountered the older bar tender, every time she has snubbed me. Seems like she prefers the older crowd and would rather not deal with someone under 45 The food, when prepared correctly its not bad. But that has only happened to me once. ever. The glasses are dirty, and when you bring it up the staff just shrugs and walks off. The food it often Cold/made wrong/never served. I asked for cheese fries with bacon. I was given a regular plate of fries. When I told my waitress the got confused and took my plate back to the kitchen, after an hour of waiting for my order to be fixed I got a cold plate of cheese fries with NO bacon. I told her, and she did nothing. That same night another person at my table had a cup with a very nasty white residue inside of it, when brought to the waitress’s attention she didnt care. All in all I will never go back.

Cool spot to grab a drink and chill. But my goodness– do NOT order a shot here. Your shot will be 7.50. Crazy! Other than that, this place is fun. Good music– 70/80’s rock n roll. Plenty of parking. Excellent chips w salt/vinegar. Good for kids. Food is so-so.(Wings are great) Salad-needs improvement. Barley stew is killer.

Decent little place. I like the food, its not gourmet but its decent for the price. I don’t like to come here at night because it is too loud and too busy. That being said, if you are into that sort of thing they have good live music and a happening little bar scene at night. The down side of coming at night is that the service isn’t as good but its on par for a busy bar. During the day this is a nice quiet little place with monday — Friday $ 3.95 lunch specials and a really good kids menu that is $ 3.95 including drink. The kids meals are big enough for bigger kids and littler kids could probably share. Nice place to get lunch for not much more than fast food. The rest of the menu isn’t that pricey either. You get a lot of food for the money. Now they do seem to hire more for looks than for ability so some of the servers really suck from time to time but I hear the boss is a hard ass and turns them out pretty quick if they are bad.

As an Irishman, I’m just sad. I came here to drink. I came here to laugh. I even saved my dinner appetite thinking I might get boozy food and go for it. They failed me. The shrimp dip sucks. It’s just shredded cheese in a cup. The pretzels are actually garlic knots, and when you argue that they’re garlic knots the cook tells you you’re wrong. I wouldn’t feed this to my dog, but maybe I’m just sensitive because she’s 11. At least we got Jell-O shots for $ 1. Speaking of which, change your name to Shittys. You’re shaming the Irish.

The management couldn’t handle our party of +30 people from a theatre conference/workshop. We called in advance to let them know we’d be a big party. But apparently the management couldn’t handle having just our party of 30 and our 20 other friends who joined us. The dining room we were in was EMPTY except for our theatre group. The manager didn’t have the foresight to at least call in a few extra people to cover the shift. The cook came out to take orders for the people who came after us and they got their DRINKS and food before us. THAT was a mistake. Your kitchen staff should not come out of the kitchen to also be the waitstaff. Their job is to cook the food. Our one group of friends waited 1 hr and then left for Los Reyes. And our other group who arrived first sat and waited while two whole groups got their drinks and food before getting annoyed and left for Wendy’s. Somehow their order got bumped after the cook had taken his tables. The food that did eventually come out was mediocre. Other dishes were overcooked, dry fish, and otherwise unappetizing. My Irish born friends would be peeved. Overall I would say management failed their staff tonight. Or theatre group likes to celebrate after a weekend of training. It is unfortunate that the management lost their staff a good pay day. Pick another place of you have a large party or wish to make money on the wait staff. UPDATEDEDIT: As we left, I noticed that the emphasis was on the Sunday Band Night outdoor seating area. It felt as though the band night was more for the owners’ personal ego than for the staff and business. I would highly recommend this restaurant’s owners submit themselves for Gordon Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares.

Some people call it a hole in the wall, I call it a decent SportsBar with great Food and good drinks. Can’t beat a $ 5 Guinness. They usually serve free homemade vinegar chips which are delicious and almost ruining the appetite for other favorite are the Red Pepper wings, but I never had actually anything which was bad, or to complain about it

«Lunch for only $ 3.95 and – it’s delicious! Even a fast food place doesn’t give you that kind of value. The place was friendly, the atmosphere good and the food yummy. Try the irish potato soup. Wow! We will definitely be back for lunch.»

I always get a little giggle when I see a new Irish Pub entering the neighborhood; whether it be Kennesaw or Buckhead. Does anyone really know what a real Irish bar is? Let alone a pub? Writing the name ‘Irish’ on your sign or t-shirt doesn’t make it one. The Irish bars around town, including Fado, sadly, is what people think an Irish bar looks like. It’s like going to Taco Bell with the belief it is Mexican food. Clearly not the same thing. I digress. Paddy’s is just OK. It’s a glorified TGI-Fridays but with different flare. They throw the word GUINESS around where Budweiser signs could do the same trick. The wait staff is dressed in tiny skirts and low cut tops, because that is apparently what Irish people wear and everything is green and orange because House of Pain did the interior decorating. This is the closest bar to my office that serves Jameson at 11AM without judgement. The price for liquor has doubled in the past month without warning but so have their food items. I have only had nacho’s and that isn’t really a good example of what their menu has to offer but it was enough to break up the 2 shots of Jameson I demolished in 20 minutes. What can I say? Just like Garfield, I hate Mondays.

I think if there were Irish people in Kennesaw they would be insulted by the ridiculous uniforms, beer selection, and food, because its all a little tacky. My guess is the owners have never been to Ireland, which is fine, just don’t present the bar as an ‘Irish’ pub. The young waitstaff was nice and were trying hard. I will give them that, but overall its just not our kind of hang out.

I used to love this place but not anymore sadly. This place used to be a great neighborhood bar & grill where I loved to come eat and drink but they totally changed and turned to crap. Here is my list of grievances. a) my waitress barely attend to me at all and bring me change in all ones, clearly expecting her tip for such awful service. If I have to flag down another waitress to get a beer, you’re doing your job wrong. b) My waitress very openly hit on my boyfriend. like hello do you see me? Am I invisible, is this thing on? c)Waitresses’ skirts on uniforms are so short, they need to wear a hair net just to meet health code. I’m not a prude by any means but damn. lol. At least the Hooters girls can bend over. d) Food is okay at best. I used to really like it but its almost like they changed it over night so i’m not sure what happened. My tomato basil soup was hot water with tomato chunks and a shit ton of basil floating in it. Pepper couldn’t even save it. And my tuna melt wasn’t hot, or melted. Seemed microwaved at best. e) They took my favorite hard cider off the menu with no warning. booooooo f) This is my biggest complaint, Drinks used to be really cheap here. $ 2 miller, $ 2 cider, $ 4 bombs. Then with absolutely no warning they doubled all their drink prices. didn’t find out until I got the bill. So thanks alot for that one Paddy’s. If you want to go to an Irish bar, drive to Towne Lake and go to Donovan’s. If you want to stay close to the area Paddy’s is in and just go to a bar, there’s Electric Cowboy, Bullfrogz, Diamond Dave’s if you are brave(He’s the guy who owns Runaround Sue’s too so i mean there you go.)

Did you see what the waitresses were wearing? LOL. Black and green striped thigh-high stockings with short skirts and matching tops during LUNCH. On a weekday. When corporate types like my company go to lunch. Hey, I’m all for the scantily clad waitresses. But there’s a sense of untastefulness(not a word?) here. ANYWAY, onto the food. Best Reuben I’ve had thus far in K-town and I’m a Rueben officianado. Just ask my husband. I order it at every restaurant and slowly pick apart the construction of the sammy as well as the bread sogginess, amount of 1000ISL related to the amount of sauerkraut, and If it has pickles. Must have pickles. I know I’m strange but I really don’t give a f#3 $.
