The doctor himself was good. My issue is with the staff, who in my opinion, makes or breaks an experience at any doctor’s office. In 4 visits I don’t think anyone ever seemed to be very pleasant. I went in to order glasses and was told to wait while the woman who handles this casually helped someone look at frames. I work 2 jobs and had to leave. Another occasion I drove up on my lunch break from Marietta to place the same order. The same thing happened and I explained the situation, that they knew the frame numbers and lens info, and I just needed to pay, and was on my lunch break. I was told to wait. She went into the back for such a long time, I had to leave again! In my opinion when there are only 2 potential customers in a casual setting, both should be made to feel welcome, appreciated and taken care of. Even if you cant wait on both of them, if one is in a hurry and has a quick need, just acknowledging that they are understood goes a long way. I just don’t get the lack of customer service in many places, but most importantly, I had to go elsewhere to purchase my glasses, so I lost time and they lost money. I will go elsewhere in the future.

I had a very pleasant experience with the staff and Dr Hester for my routine exam. The performed a few tests I’d never seen before, pun intended, and let me know that my vision had gotten a little worse over the past year.
I got the fancy new daily wear contacts they were pushing pretty hard. ‘Best sellers in Europe,’ I was told and soooo much better than the old Acuvue 2. They took some getting used to but I like them ok now. I’ll be back next year and hopefully they’ll have better better things to tell me about my vision. :p

Very thorough, efficient and service oriented. Will match competitive prices. Family of five has been with Dr. Hester since he opened for both glasses and contacts, all are very satisfied!
