Great local feel. Good food and nice live music on Saturday nights. The only draw back is the crowd is definitely 45 and over. Was looking for a more mixed crowd but everything else is good.

Second time at Guston’s still really good food & excellent service. Nice family feel, all food fresh & healthy portions, you’ll be full! Last time had wings & the Gus & tonight tried the Johnny Cash Burger & helped my wife finish her chicken pot pie in a huge puff pastry bowl. Service was great both times. Love the crowd & never seems crowded, very spacious dining area. I need to try lunch at the bar next! Fun & friendly place.

We went to the new Guston’s in Acworth, GA we waited 45 minutes to be seated which was ok considering it was Friday night. After sitting for almost an hour and not getting any service we asked for drinks 10 – 15 min the waiter came back. The hostess told us that she was told not to give us menus because they were backed up. We will not be back goto Old Town Tavern better service

I was pleasantly surprised. It looks like a dive bar when you walk in, so my expectations were lowered. It took a couple of minutes, but once the server came along she was very sweet. I ordered the Cajun pork medallions. It was very good! They were slightly overcooked, but that didn’t affect the flavors. It was simply delicious! I’m happy I found a place in Kennesaw that I can frequent. They had a brisket sandwich that I’m stoked to check out next trip!

The best ruben sandwich I have ever had hands down! Great atmosphere as far as bar and grills go with good service. Everything I have ordered has been great but I only get the Ruben when I visit now. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but definitely worth a stop especially if you appreciate a good Ruben sandwich.

Went in on Tuesday night with the girls for ladies night. ½ of bottles of wine! What a great deal! Plus the half of menu is a great one! Have always left here happy! Always sit at the bar and the service is great! You can tell they have a lot of regulars which shows they get to know their bar guests!

HUGEBURGERS! The burgers were pretty great and the brownie dessert was good too! We liked that you could choose your side of fries, tater tots, or onion rings. I got the onion rings but were a little disappointed because I was served 3 huge onion rings. I like the thin crispy kinds, but that’s about the only complain I have about the place. Me and my boyfriend were pretty satisfied with this meal. The seating area is pretty big too, sports bar kind of vibe, very casual.

Came here a few months ago because me and my girlfriend get off work late and we were hungry. read really good reviews about their food, and decided to try it. To our surprise, last call had happened about 30 min prior to our arrival. :(so we got a few really good drinks and left. fast forward about a week, and we were in search of another place to eat. we remembered that we didnt eat here the last time we were there, so we went. Didnt expect much other than typical bar food, but WOW. we were definitely impressed by the food quality! their drinks are made great as well! This is one of our regular spots for dinner and drinks now. great food, friendly staff, and good drinks! One of the only places I order a different thing every time I go. Very much recommended!

Great food, great prices, and great people. We love Sunday brunch. The burgers are the best in town and the country fried steak, mashed potatoes w/grean beans always makes us happy. The black berry cobbler cant be beat! Oh, and bingo night is very fun! Update: The Gus is amazingly delicious. I had to order it the past 4 times I’ve been there! Mmmm… the Gus!

Been going here since I was in college at KSU and it just happens to be right down the road from where I bought my first house. It is family friendly, but also a great place to go grab a beer. Chicken nachos are to die for and I find myself graving them sometimes!

By far my favorite restaurant! My daughter is nuts over the meatloaf which is made ready to order, so it’s great when you have to eat in a hurry. The blackened steak fried tortilla pizza is my favorite, and their house made Gorgonzola Vinaigrette dressing is addictive! Salads are made with fresh baby greens… none of that cheap iceberg stuff, and the buffalo burger… mmmmmm. Great drink specials, and you won’t break the bank taking your family out for dinner!

Based on a couple reviews, I had to try what was described as «the best burger in North Atlanta», and I was not disappointed. The junk burger(without the bun) was fabulous — juicy, not greasy, and full of flavor before you even tasted the toppings. It was large enough, even without the bun, to make 2 meals so I indulged for breakfast the next morning and must say that it was great reheated. My other half had been dying for a good Reuben since the last one he ate was not worthy of the name, and while it should have been 2 meals due to the size, he scarfed it down in one because it was just that good. I like that you can order fries or tater tots(call me an overgrown kid, but I ADORE tater tots), and the portions on these were plentiful too. Prices are average in comparison to other places, but great for the portions given. With the vast menu, I cannot wait to try the other options and are thrilled to see daily specials. It’s tucked away in the Publix shipping center, but don’t let the location fool you — the best places are often hole in the wall joints, and this definitely hits that mark!

Had lunch at Guston’s and my son had the 911 Burger. So awesome! 2 huge Patties, Fried Egg, and Gyro Meat with onion rings on the side. If you feel like a man give it a go.

Just moved into the area about a month ago. Stopped one day after the gym. Didn’t know there was a strict no sleeveless shirts policy but it was OK. They politely got me a Gustons promo shirt to put on and was seated. At first I was I bit turned off but got over the policy. My burger was cooked perfectly and definitely delicious. Was the best burger so far I have had north of the city. Oh and karoke was awesome too. Definitely will be back.

I really wanted to love this place because it’s close to my house, but I just can’t really get behind it. It is a very large menu, and if you stick to simple dishes you’re probably going to be OK. I’d stay away from anything ethnic. I ordered the gyro once and that was a mistake. By far the best part about this place is the prices on their well drinks.

Excellent place to eat. This is a great family place to eat. There is live music on the weekends at night but I haven’t been during it. The cook is the owner and he visits all the customers to make sure everything is good. Love this place and there has been nothing I have tried that wasn’t good. Best sweet tea ever and best homemade cobblers.

My husband and I love Gustons! Their burgers are the best around, and I love that they add new, fun item to their menu every week or two. The only bummer is that I’ll try one of the new items, fall in love with it, and then it’s not there next time. Its ok though; it’s always replaced with other fun items! Oh, Tuesday is ladies night, so women get 50% off their meal if they order from the Chef Specials and 50% off wine! Though this is a «bar», I would consider this place a great family restaurant!

My daughter and I stopped in early Saturday evening(we didn’t want to have the noise of the upcoming music) for an early dinner. We had gone there before and our meals were good and the prices were right. The bingo thing going on at the time was over-the-top loud, so we went early this time to hear ourselves have a conversation. We started with the mozzarella triangles with marinara sauce. These were just OK, kind of bland and the marinara sauce had no flavor at all. Disappointing. I had the NY Reuben which was a combo of corned beef and pastrami on marble rye and it was very tasty with the cheese melting just right. My daughter returned to the Junk Burger which she had last time, and again, she enjoyed it. Our server was friendly and capable, the noise level was at a conversational level, and the food overall was good and pricing was budget friendly.

Short version: College drinking hole masquerading as a food joint. Tried going to Henry’s Louisiana café in acworth and a few other places along the way. Looked at the Unilocal review and saw it was by our old house and was a different bar back then. Figured that many people can’t be wrong. Atmosphere: Imagine your days back in college and your favorite dive bar. It looks like that. Service: Waitress was great for us, saw a few others that were clueless though. Food comes out pretty darn slow based on the server /cook to customer ratio. Food: It was Sunday brunch so immediately I am feeling the tenderloin eggs benedict on the menu. Thankfully the table next to me was served that dish just before I ordered. When questioning the waitress about whether or not the eggs are poached properly she deferred to the other table with a young girl slicing in. I just happened to notice that they were like hard boiled eggs, yolk was solid. The young girl told me they were«perfect, not runny at all!!». I didn’t have the heart to tell her so I just nodded and smiled. So I didn’t order that. Asked about a few other things on the menu and the two on top of the list were the Irish Nachos and the Cash burger. My kids went with the pot roast and my wife and I split the recommended items. Irish Nachos: I think the word would be interesting. For the Irish portion you get corned beef and potato chips. Everything else in the mix is deemed to be from«south of the border»(canned salsa, sour cream, cheese). It wasn’t all that bad, just nothing outstanding. It would have been an average day in Seamus McSuarez’s house if that hit the table. Cash burger: Grease… about sums it up. My wife was wondering where the other portion of her bun was until I pointed out it was still there but just dripping in burger fat and compressed down to nothing. Pot Roast: Probably the best meal, meat was not bad at all. The gravy was a bit of a challenge though, tasted like it came out of a can. Summary: I think if I was a student at KSU I would go see the bands here and drink myself into oblivion, but I passed that milestone quite a few years ago. This is just one of those instances where crowdsourcing heavy drinkers for reviews has its drawbacks. Meh.

Went back after not coming for quite sometime after a Sunday brunch bad experience with service about a year and a half ago.(Very slow to receive food and apathetic service) This time we went for lunch. I got grouper tacos which were excellent(would have liked a little more fish and less tortilla. My BF got a gyro which he also said was great. The food took a while to be received but the server was attentive and cheerful. Free wifi. Minor critique on the flatware – very cheap, thin and spotty. A place like this should at least have mid grade utensils. Also our booth seat was torn and taped as opposed to being replaced. We may start going again on a regular basis. Prices are reasonable.

Best burgers in Woodstock. I live very close to Guston’s and will go there for lunch occasionally. They make the best burger I’ve had in Woodstock. They are all huge, at 10 oz, but juicy and flavorful. Guston’s runs a special burger each week that’s kind of over-the-top, like the Lucky 7’s burger with 7 slices of cheese. Everything else I’ve tried has been great as well. They occasionally run buffalo shrimp tacos on special and they are excellent. I get them whenever they are available. At night Guston’s turns into a honky-tonk-country-dance-bar-live music place which is definitely not my cup of tea, so I reserve my visits for lunchtime. My friends that are into that sort of thing enjoy it, so if that’s your thing it sounds like it can be a lot of fun.

This place has a good atmosphere to watch games. The negative for games is the sound system is horrid. It detracts from an otherwise good game environment with a local feel. THEBAD: The cook did not get my burger cooked even close to order. I wanted medium rare and got crispy & grey in color. Then several hours later I became extremely sick — you can look up the food poisoning systems for more graphic details if you like as I had them all. Standard answer#1 from business is always«it had to have been from somewhere else» & Standard answer #2 is «it was only you that got sick…» Well for #1 I only ate at this place and did not feel like eating afterwards. For #2 my wife was just as sick, minus the vomiting… Would I give it another chance? It took me over 20 years to go back to a Hardee’s after a similar experience…

The food was surprisingly very good. It tasted fresh and not just thrown together as you might expect for pub grub. I had a chicken philly without the bread and really enjoyed the chunks of grilled chicken tossed with grilled onions, peppers and mushrooms. They have quite a selection and will accommodate special orders. The waitstaff was really friendly and checked on us regularly. they have quite a selection for drink items. They also offer a military discount. I wasn’t excited about the dueling keyboardists. It may be a preference thing as many people were singing along, but I couldnt’ hear myself think let alone have a conversation. Maybe if the sound system had been better it may have made a difference because it kept blaring and thumping. shreeek. The patrons were ‘upper 40s just threw on a tank and flip flops kind of crowd.’ Not quite me, but ehh. One of the owners was there late in the evening and was checking on everything coming by to ask us how our meal was. much appreciated.

I have to say, they have done a little remodeling since the last time I was there! They have ALOT more tables now for seating but, it looked a lot nicer before! They have gone up a good bit on there pricing BUT I’m guessing that they forgot to change there prices on there website! This is the first time I’ve ever been on a Sunday and I’m pretty sure I’ll never go back on a Sunday! It was VERY loud inside and I waited a lil over 30min for eggs!!! NOTHAPPYABOUTTHATATALL!!! The staff is very nice(mgmt needs to teach staff to let customers know when food is taking to long, that they have not been forgotten)!!! The food at this place is EXCELLENT and I will be back! Just not for Sunday brunch!!! Overall, it was a great meal an that’s why I’m giving it 5stars!!! I give it 1 star for wait time on food! If you have never been here, you need to check it out, just NOTONSUNDAY!!!
