Last time I went my order was wrong. This time My experience was worse. The manager Janine was very rude. She was on her phone when we walked up and it took her a good 30 seconds to realize we were standing there waiting to place our order. I told her I wanted a custom sandwich and proceeded to tell her which toppings I wanted and which ones I wanted left off, and she yelled at me «well why don’t you tell me what you DO want?» And it seemed like I just made her life so complicated when all I wanted was no cheese or mayo…
When my order was finished I thanked the girl that made the sandwich to which her response was a rude «mhm» and didn’t even make eye contact with me. Won’t be going back.

Everyone was very pleasing! Ordered a sandwich for mom because this is her favorite sub shop and I know that we will love it. The guys were all nice, smiling and ready for my moms order. Thank u guys from my mom. It was prepared as I asked and I have absolutely no complaints.

They had improved greatly and I was a frequent diner until my last visit. When the guy who made my sandwich called my name, he was touching his lips, repeatedly. As I got closer I saw he had an open sore on his lips. I don’t know if he was touching his lips while he was making my sandwich, I don’t know what kind of sore it was, but I’m not going to eat at a place that makes me wonder if I’m picking up more than just a sandwich. Chances are if you go in you won’t get this guy, and this will never happen to you, but i’m not going to take that risk. This is disgusting and extremely disappointing.

The sub is not worth the price.
Bottom Line: stick with a local sub shop or Publix subs.

If you have 30 – 35 minutes to wait for a sandwich, maybe. If not, skip this location. It’s quite busy, but they’ve got 33 people behind the sandwich counter, so I just don’t understand why they would be SOOO slow.
Also, sandwich quality and service isn’t what I’ve come to expect from Firehouse at this new location. There was no «welcome to Firehouse!» greeting, and my Hook n Ladder didn’t taste the same.
Stick with the Chastain Rd. location.

Great subs for the most part, but why would you put mayonnaise on a bbq sandwich?
We had a good laugh about that after we stopped vomiting.
