Cracker Barrel has gone downhill. Their service has changed, and the serving sizes have gotten smaller. We hadn’t been here in a while, and my daughter wanted to come for her birthday dinner. Her burger was badly burned, and we found out that the ketchup we ordered and had been waiting on had been delivered to another table, I think in addition to the other biscuits we were waiting on. I told the Cashier about it, and she asked if I wanted to speak to the manager(She should have just gotten him.). The manager came out, and while he was apologetic, he chalked it up to the kitchen help being tired. They did take it off the bill. It actually wasn’t that busy when we arrived, and it took a while to get served and also get our food. I probably won’t be back.

When I think of road trips I think of CB… it’s consist food serves breakfast all day n fair size portions. This location is a hit n miss for speed of service so don’t be in a hurry coming here. Enjoy

I love CB! Every time I visit the greater Atlanta area, I request to have breakfast here. For those of you living in the South/Midwest, this may be your typical, cheesy chain restaurant but coming from the West, the restaurant is SO cute with rocking chairs, amazing selection of food and Southern hospitality. I always order their breakfast and their menu has everything you ever want in a breakfast — eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, gravy, pancakes, friend okra, apple butter, etc. The place accommodates big families, small children, young and old. They even have a gift shop you can stroll around. It’s definitely worth a stop.

Awesome customer service today at this place! I have been here dozens of times and have been helped by practically the entire waitstaff, but Samantha by far tops the list! She was absolutely wonderful! She greeted me as soon as I sat down to let me know although she was extremely busy(it’s Easter) she is on her way to help me. She quickly came to my table and answered all my questions pertaining to the menu with ease. She constantly refilled my tea without my asking, and always checked on me. It’s all the little things that mean so much, ya know?! Of course the food is always excellent, but nothing has made my breakfast more enjoyable than being taken care of by Samantha! Smart hire Cracker Barrel! If you go ask for her and you will see what I’m talking about! Enjoy!

Omg. Hash brown casserole. every time I come to kennesaw I must go here. Breakfast is so good. They give u so much good and it’s always amazing. If yr planning to go on a Sunday it gets so crowded. Expect at least a 30 minute wait. Worth it !

We didn’t get our silverware for 20 minutes after our food got to put table, and on top of it all the milk gave me food poisoning because it was expired. Don’t go to this Cracker Barrel, it is the epitome of poor service.

So, we are really fans of CB. It makes our family smile! As you walk in the door you can’t not feel warm and fuzzy inside. We went on a Friday evening and were quite surprised by how busy it was. We only had to wait about 20 minutes, and were able to peruse around the store(which is one of my favorite things about coming the CB). When we were seated we were greeted by our server who seemed super sweet, but joked that she wasn’t the fastest server. This was true throughout our dinner. I ordered the 3 egg breakfast. I opted for Egg Beaters, turkey sausage, turkey bacon. My hubs had the chicken fried chicken breakfast, and my son ordered the kid’s pancakes w/bacon. I asked the server to bring over biscuits and corn bread ASAP because we were all starved! Needless to say, we didn’t see these until I asked again about 15 minutes later. Our meal was delivered by another server about 35 minutes later. To my disappointment my meal was cold. They failed to bring my son’s bacon, and also forgot the extra syrup that we had asked for. It didn’t look like our server had many other tables so I’m not quite sure why our meals were left in the kitchen for so long. I should have sent mine back but as I stated, I was starving!!! This experience will not change the fact that I m a CB fan, I just hope that they are training their servers to pay attention to the guests.

Stopped in for my biscuit and gravy fix. Service was good and fast. They had a nice fire going. I wish they’d upgrade their coffee a few notches. I hate paying $ 2.19 for weak coffee.

AVOIDTHISCRACKERBARREL. Bottom line, had to repeatedly ask for drink refills, took more than 2 hours to get food that was not as ordered. Kitchen did their job but the disorganization from the hostess desk to the servers was absolutely terrible. HERE’s the full story: Poor, poor service and horrible customer experience. Not up to standard at all from our typical Cracker Barrel experience. We expected a long wait because we were a party of 8 adults plus a toddler, and it was on a Sunday around 1 p.m. Our name was called after 45 minutes and we checked in at the dining room entrance. While we were standing waiting to be seated, they called four additional names and had those people squeeze past us to be seated at their tables. When we were led to be seated more than 10 minutes later, the tables had not yet been cleaned or pushed together and we again waited another 5 minutes for an employee to sloooowly sweep under the table. Finally, we pushed the tables together ourselves to be seated. We waited another 15 minutes and finally flagged down an employee to ask where our server was. That person took our drink order. It was more than 10 minutes before our drinks were delivered(yes, by this time we had been there 1.5 hours and were just getting our drinks). Another 5 minutes before he returned to take our orders. We asked for bread first with extra butter. 15 more minutes before bread came to the table with only half the butter for the bread served, plus our drinks needed refilling. When food was delivered 25 minutes later, three of the nine orders were wrong(items left off, things left in we’d requested to be left out, etc). It was just one poor customer experience after another.

My family and I frequent this establishment because of the retail items mostly. I must say, however, that so many of their dishes are wonderful and very inexpensive. One of my favorites is the Haddock dinner(also available forlunch). The staff is warm and willing to please… unfortunately, there is always a rotten apple. This was the case on two occasions; don’t try to get any satisfaction when dealing with one of the managers named Brett… all the others are marvelous… I was also very disappointed when speaking with Pam at Headquarters… she, too, lacked a personality you would want when dealing in a service industry… Will, a manager at another location nearby is exemplary.

Slowest service ever. No spoon or crackers given with my soup. We had to remind the waiter that biscuits or corn bread should come with our meals… They brought out the hot meals and said they still had to cut the lettuce for my salad! 1:50pm on a Friday! Denzel, the waiter seemed annoyed when we reminded him a 2nd time about the biscuits after 10 minutes had passed since he last request!

It is always a five star experience at this place when Miss Betty is your server! She runs circles around all the younger staff here! Fast friendly and consistent, this place is a favorite for friday morning pancakes!

Service at this location is the slowest of any Cracker Barrel I’ve ever been to. Consistently inattentive and spotty. On my most current visit our waiter just never came to our table and thankfully another waiter saw our frustration and took over. Food was good once we got it but from sit down to finished was over an hour.

What can I say, this is your average cracker barrel chain restaurant. My mom always wants to come here so that she can shop in the store inside. The food is pretty predictable, greasy, southern, and average. My favorite thing to get here are the eggs in a basket. The pancakes are nice and crispy. The service is super slow, so I suggest you decide on what to order while you’re waiting for a table so that you can order all at once.

It’s just how breakfast places go. Typical eggs, pancakes, french toast all southern style. I only wish they had more healthy alternatives. I got the eggs in a basket– 2 eggs in cooked in sour dough bread with hash brown casserole and sausage. I get this every time I go. My mom got the pancakes with fruit. Nice and fluffy and buttery. Overall, it’s good but just so greasy. Everything is dripping grease and butter. It’s the only reason I can only come once in a blue moon.

I must be a fan because we stop at a Cracker Barrel every time we travel. That’s almost a requirement, right? I like the catfish. It’s not heavy on the breading. And where else can I order sides of fried okra, fried apples and greens? The service here was OK, but that’s pretty normal for Cracker Barrel. Yes, we cruised the gift shop as always, almost bought something but came to our senses and left. My brother does all of his Christmas shopping at Cracker Barrel. I am not kidding. I was tempted to buy HIS next Christmas present here.

Put in a to-go order @ 7:50 pm on Saturday night and was told it would be ready in 20 to 30 minutes. I arrived at the Cracker Barrel @ 8:20 pm paid and tipped the cashier. At this point I was told my food would be out shortly. I lts now 8:50 pm and I am still waiting on my order.

Holy bring me a drink batman! The place is half empty tonight and our waiter couldn’t bring any drink refills. In fact«Edwin», if that is his real name took our order and didn’t return until time to bring us the check, someone else brought out our food even. There were 3 stars on his apron, I’m thinking the real Edwin doesn’t know his apron is missing. Edwin, call 911, someone stole your apron!!!

Never been to a CB that you didn’t have to wait. Think they make you wait awhile so you shop in the gift shop. Reason for rocking chairs out front, sit n wait a spell. Food is typical restaurant food nothing out of the ordinary. What we all love is the various items on the menu and breakfast anytime. Fair price for a decent meal.

Service is friendly but the kitchen is slow. Not sure why. When the food finally arrived it was cold. Why is it so hard to find a good b’fast place!!!

Went in for dinner on Saturday. Had country fried steak which was dry and bland. Fries were warm and burnt. The Mac and Cheese was runny. Definitely not the homemade food they used to serve. It has been a while since I ate hear. In the past, the food was good but not any more. Also looked around the store for a baby gift. Found several cute little girl outfits but 9 months is the smallest size they had out. I asked if it was the smallest size they had and if the sales associate could look for a smaller size in the stock room. She said no because they had been really busy. She wanted to see if another store had it in stock but I declined. Lazy service and bland food. Looks like this may be my last trip to this location.

3.5 stars. Cracker Barrel is my go-to place for Chicken & Dumplings. Where else can you get this dish? It’s more dumplings than chicken, but I still find myself at CB for an occasional C&D fix. I know they have an expansive menu, and it’s mostly pretty good. Outside of K-town I’d recommend the breakfast because it’s so good, but given a choice in Kennesaw I think I’d choose local J. Christophers for my full breakfast fare. I liked Bruce K’s observation that this store is backwards. He is right! This is the only right-handed CB I’ve ever been seen!

If I had a nickel for every time I’d driven past a Cracker Barrel, well… by now I’d probably have enough for a free, tasty breakfast! Finally decided to give them a try when the craving for eggs and biscuits one morning was more than I could ignore. And, I’m glad I did. Betty served a sweet smile with every plate she brought.(I now ask for her each time I return and so should you. but, she gets off at 1:00 so go early.) The eggs over hard were done to perfection both times. The biscuits are so yummy, they can barely hear you going«Mmmmmm!» at the next table over because your mouth will be so full. The bacon was finger-licking good(pardon me, Colonel). And portions were plentiful. I’m not used to the grits so I don’t know if they’re good or not compared to other grits. And the gravy is too bland for my taste. I returned for lunch intending on ordering breakfast again, but their $ 5.99 lunch special beckoned. The meatloaf hit the spot nicely and I’ll order it again. The mac’n’cheese did not pull its weight on the plate. I’ll find another side next time. The mashed potatoes were a good accompaniment and I finished ‘em all. I should mention the baked apples. Yummy. Fresh. Heaping helping in a small bowl. Enough to share, I think. I waited the first time to pay at the table, so remember that you’re supposed to pay at the front cashier where the gift shop is.(And good luck resisting the urge to buy something there while waiting in line!)

A slightly confusing Cracker Barrel, because it’s backwards. I am always a little taken aback when I visit one of these where the restaurant is on the right from the gift shop! Otherwise, a perfectly good CB with good service, good staff and the usual menu of southern style cooking. There are some healthy alternatives on the menu, though I would really like it if they offered poached eggs. Easy access to parking from the Interstate for you RV’ers.
