I came here at the beginning of June to have braces installed (???) on me. After checking in, I saw that I was number 5 on the list of new patients for the afternoon. One by one, the others were called back. One of the ladies at the desk asked if I was the mother of so-​and-​so, and I said no. She sat down, and a moment later asked it I was the mother of another kid, and I said no. A few minutes later of her looking at her paperwork, she asked if I was the mother of the third kid, I said no and I stated that I was not the mother of the lady in her mid-40’s who just went back to get braces on (I am in my mid-30’s and have no kids). Finally, she asked if I was Andrea F., which I am. She asked why I didn’t tell her that and looked at me odd when I said that I checked myself in, I stated my name.
I almost walked out.
As she was taking my payment, a hygienist came forward and took me back. The process was really quick, and I was surprised. The entire office was neat and clean. Other than the one receptionist, everyone was kind and patient. Dr Scaffidi called me that evening to make sure everything was going well, and gave me his cell phone number which was really very nice.
I am so glad that I can go to his other office for all future visits.

So the time came when my 12 yr old lost all of her baby teeth and was ready for braces.
Dr Scaffidi has an office in Kenner and Lakeview. His staff are always very friendly and professional. The day she got her braces put on, the dr called that evening just to see how she was doing and left his cell phone number in case we had any questions or concerns. Needless to say that impressed me.
They offer an incentive program for return visits and the kids get a gift card to a local store. We have to return every 6 weeks for the next 2 ½ years.
So if youre looking for an orthodontist, Dr Scaffidi comes highly recommended.
