Walking into this place, may cause you to walk outside and check the address, but trust, you’re in the right place. Turns out CEI is a multipurpose center. It’s clean and spacious, as it serves as a worship center for three different congregations. So, here it is a Tuesday morning and I have four hours of continuing education for my insurance license, only to be seated in front of a stage with instruments, a projection screen and an array of silk flower arrangements. CEI is run my an older married couple; she runs the administrative side and he **teaches** the courses. CE classes are usually something you suffer through and that is exactly what is likely to happen. This is the session to attend to get the deed done, not to acquire more information about a particular topic. Also, be prepared for silly internet jokes –the ones people forward, to be read to you until he moves through his stack of printed outdated jokes, or until he is pleased with the response of boisterous laughter. Even though there are no tests, I seriously thought about forfeiting my license. It was difficult to not ony stay awake, but to stay alive.
