We are new to the area & The Andrew White School of Music, and have been so pleased so far with our experience with AWSOM. Andrew has been extremely accommodating meeting our daughter’s music instruction needs and she is definitely growing under his tutelage. I highly recommend AWSOM!

John Hart is my daughters (8) piano teacher and is truly AWSOME. During the assessment, he was spot on citing the weak points that most other instructors missed. His focus is on building a solid base and making sure that the foundation is solid with emphasis on cite reading, theory with the right mix of practice and homework to keep my kid interested. Highly recommended!

Andrew has been a wonderful piano teacher to my 10 and 12 year old children. I love that he comes to our home– he is professional, incredibly talented, patient and motivational. We are now in our 3rd year and highly recommend AWSOM.

John Hart has been a fabulous teacher for our 10 year old son for almost a year now. Awsom was recommended to us by a friend and we couldn’t be happier with it. John comes to our house and is always prompt and professional. He has a very efficient and friendly manner and our son loves him. John has a great system for helping kids organize their practice time and seems to have some fun games and tricks for learning theory in addition to playing pieces. We highly recommend John Hart for piano lessons for your child!

My daughter has been taking lessons from John for about 4 months now and we have been so impressed with her progress. John is patient and encouraging and keeps the lessons moving and fun for her. We love having the lesson in our home and are all benefiting from hearing what goes on during the lesson, especially my other two children! She had taken lessons from another piano teacher but had started losing interest. My friend had told me about AWSOM and so we decided to try it and so happy we did. She’s excited about the piano again and we have John to thank for that!

My boys love playing the piano, and I attribute a lot of that to Andrew. He knows when to fast forward just as much as when to slow down, all to make piano appropriately challenging and fun. Andrew strikes that perfect balance of encouraging and patient, gracious and challenging, energetic and committed. Best of all, my boys feel comfortable with Andrew, and they feel free to make mistakes on their way to success. Andrew White is a true asset of a piano teacher.

Highly patient and very clear when instructing. Works well with my twin 4 year olds… not at the same time. This is not the first instructor I have tried with them, but by far the best. Will continue their lessons with him for a very long time.
