Being a foodie i was really was looking forward to experiencing a new Cuban restaurant. Be warned the place is extremely small. About 3 tables and a couple of bar stools. I really wish i could give this place a better rating. Being Cuban born i would like to see a Cuban restaurant succeed. I am sorry, the food was horrible. First of all its not authentic Cuban. The black beans were tasteless. My chicken was dry and without any seasoning. My poor mom ordered a Cuban frita which basically is a sort of hamburger, ground beef and chorizo always served with thinly sliced fried potato sticks and tiny raw onions. It was no way near that. It was a regular burger with lettuce and tomatoes no sides came with that for 10 dollars! A regular burger and basically this a cafeteria. My sister ordered a steak which was dry. An overall bad experience and for a cafeteria very expensive prices. Left there truly disappointed. Would never go back.:(

I have had Cuban food in New York and Miami and by far this food is incredible! My mouth is watering. It is worth the trip even if your not in the area. The staff is amazing.

Popped in here at the recommendation of a friend. So glad I did! I’m sailing from to Havana next month from FL, so want to start getting in the food mood. Had the Cuban sandwich lunch special. The meat was tender and flavorful. The portion was generous, service was friendly and atmosphere was upbeat. I have to make Kenilworth a regular stop — I’ll be back!

The food NEEDS to be fresh every day even if there’s some slow days during the week. We went during the week on a late night. My impression of the Lechon, rice and tamal was that it wasn’t fresh. It taste as if had been reheated from a previous day or maybe longer. With that said, staff is friendly and it has a nice cozy feel.

LITTLECUBA ! If you love love Cuban food you’ll love it here. First I’m giving them 5 stars for the food and atmosphere STRICTLY ! The customer service was definitely lacking. This place is tiny and gets very busy so don’t come here if you have time restraints. The food the flavors were very amazing. I got the shredded steak flank with onions and rice and beans with plantain. The plantain was crisp on the outside sweet on the inside. The onions was grilled to perfection the steak was braised and carefully pulled apart. The location isn’t all that great but it’s on a main road. Parking is few in number so car pooling doesn’t sound so bad either. All the flavors of Cuba right in New Jersey.

Great food, good quantity … only downside palace is too small, the decorations are nice and great salsa music

The hype is real! Everyone in that place is friendly. The beautiful ladies working, the master chef, and his staff. The place is located on a busy main road way in a quiet neighborhood. The décor inside is very traditional Cuban style. Bongos As stools. Tables on the sides. Comfortable seating and spacious. Our server was more than helpful with our daughter. She sat us in a spacious corner. She quickly went over to us and made us feel very welcomed. We had the Lechon and Pollo apanizado. We had the Ham croquettas! Wow homade made melts in your mouth like butter. The food came out quick and we were extremely happy with everything. This is a must check out for amazing food.

What a great find. Found this place today it was delicious and very very affordable. Just like all the other reviews about this place is true the service is outstanding. The rice and beans are to die for. Cuban sandwiches is off the hook. The rice ball never had it before was outstanding. Everything we had was great. They also have Cuban coffee. I almost don’t want to rave about this place because I don’t want it to get too busy. I can’t wait to go back and try something different

Dropped in to grab a quick dinner and I’m extremely glad I did. From the moment I walked through the door I was bombarded with smiles and friendliness. The papa rellena as an appetizer was a great choice, as the dough was perfectly cooked and the meat inside seasoned amazingly! The special sauces at the table were divine. I had the vaca frita with congri as an entrée and the perfect mixture of crispy and juicy/savory shredded beef was excellent. I highly recommend trying this place as you will not be disappointed. Ralph and the rest of the staff were so welcoming and made for a great atmosphere. I loved it!

I took my Cuban business partner here for lunch. He is from Cuba and knows his Cuban food. I asked how it stacked up against the food back home and he said he couldn’t even tell the difference. This was authentic stuff and now he’s hooked. I enjoyed the food as well and the atmosphere was so welcoming. Cuban music playing, smell of Cuban food, staff being attentive. Overall a great place to eat!

I’m Cuban. Miami born. I know Cuban food. I eat it. I cook it. Finding a place that comes close to my mom & my abuelas is hard. This place is the real deal. I’ve been to a few local spots recently. All new. All very nice. All disappointing. This place is small. The menu is short & simple. The food is delicious. The steak was tender, tasteful & well cooked. The red beans were creamy & had chunks of chorizo. The Tamal was divine. The pan con bistec was crispy & made with the same tender quality cut of steak as my steak meal. The bread was not that hard dry Cuban bread that cracks. It was good quality & it was pressed nicely. My husband loved it & he’s hard to please. My mother is impossible to please & she told me she’d go back in a heartbeat. The owner is the cook & super friendly. The service was fast & pleasant. I am very happy there is finally a great Cuban spot close to me.

We tried this spot on word of mouth and we weren’t disappointed. The place is small, but cozy. Staff was friendly, but inexperienced. Our orders were brought out timely and were full of flavor. Authentic Cuban fare. We had the Cuban rice ball and croquetas to start and they were delicious. We had the vaca frita, grilled steak smothered in onions and the grilled steak breaded. Full of flavor and cooked well. A generous portion of rice and beans. One complaint… the maduros. Over priced and a very small portion. No liquor license, but plenty of refreshments available

Best Cuban sandwich in town. Authentic food– the cook and the owner are Cuban so one cannot go wrong here. My favorite: Cuban sandwich of course! Cannot miss this!
