Went for my first appointment today and after reading the reviews I see small things that are still prevalent in the Doctors demeanor, but nothing that would prevent me from going back. He seems eccentric and extremely smart so perhaps people mistake that for being rude or having bad bedside manner? I’m not sure but I didn’t find him rude at all. I tried to not let the bad reviews mold my opinion and focused on business. He did introduce himself to me and I felt he paid attention to me while I spoke. I’m a migraine sufferer and they keep getting worse. I was given some sample meds to try and two scripts. He took the time to talk to me, exam me, ask a lot of questions about my headaches and frequency, so I was satisfied with the visit. I will be going back. They have a migraine room in another office. I found that interesting and will definitely be trying that out.

The Keller office is very clean and the staff is nice. I didn’t wait long to be seen. I have been to 5 neurologist in my life with no help or answers .Dr. fadil was great spent lots of time and diagnosed my problem !!! I am pleased with my visit .I was worried at first after reading some reviews of the other Dr in this office.

I have an autoimmune disease and I have had a very hard time with it over the past 20 years. This clinic specialized in autoimmune CNS issues, I checked before I booked with them. I’ve seen the doctor and nurse practitioner. They listened to my concerns and they got me on medications that help me without making me too drowsy of a day. I was Unilocaling other doctors I go to because my insurance makes me and I was shocked to see this rating. I see 9 other specialists a year and my neurologist here is my favorite specialist I see. He is one of the only doctors I have that doesn’t almost roll their eyes while I talk about my pain. I checked the profiles of the other people — cool for you being professional whiners. Life is harder for negative people. Before America I lived in Germany where I got used to being treated very well by doctors. I’m sorry but we live in America, more than 5 minutes with a doctor is so great I’m so grateful to find an office that cares and they donate a money and time to my disease. It almost makes me feel like I’m back in Germany where that was the standard of care. If you have MS I really like this office. I recommend them because I’m almost pain free and before, for awhile, I was home bound. That’s a big difference.

I wish we had seen the reviews about this horrible doctor before my husband went last year in September. The office was recommended by his primary physician who has been excellent on everything else. This includes her patience and understanding with his nerve issues. But there’s only so much she can do, so when his neck began really bothering him she sent him to Kane Hall Barry. Going to a specialist for anything is not cheap so any time a referral comes it’s a smart move to make sure you know what is covered. He went in and asked before seeing the doctor if everything that was going on in that visit was going to be covered by his insurance and co-pay. He was assured by the office staff that it would. He saw the doctor, then they led him down a corridor to a different section of the SAME building and ran tests on him. Imagine our surprise when we received a bill for a little over $ 100. When he spoke to the billing department, they said the charges were for fees not related to the office visit. Meaning, that when they walked him down the corridor and ran tests on him in a different room at the other end of the building they counted this as a separate visit not covered by the co-pay. Since then we have received multiple phone calls, letters, and even a certified letter from their office trying to collect. We also received a not so pleasantly worded letter stating that if we didn’t pay up within two weeks he was terminating the doctor/patient relationship. You know what? That’s fine by us. Between the front office and the reviews I’ve read about this schyster’s bedside manner, we’re glad to be not dealing with him anymore.

If a half star was an option, I’d give it! I just paid $ 85 to stare at a wall while Dr. Barry made faces at his frozen computer. He kept looking at the door like he wanted to be anywhere but with his patient. He wasn’t happy that I was put on my original prescription that’s worked for most of my life. I’ve had a chronic headache for a long time and wanted to talk about it instead of living on ibuprofen. He didn’t want to talk about It! All he said was probably not migraines because it wouldn’t be constant. Dr. Barry agreed if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it and said I don’t have to come back for a year. He set up prescriptions for a year BUT, it’s not the exact same thing I’m taking. It’s a different form that’s $ 60 more! I won’t be buying that! I have the green light for another year. So I’ll find a new Neurologist before that year is up. Still fuming in DFW

My mom’s experience with Dr. Jerome Kane has been very disappointing. This review is based on 4 office visits and his care of mom in rehab. He has no personality, a terrible bed side manner, no compassion, is rude, arrogant, disheveled in appearance, could not/would not give us a care plan for the future and berated my 85 year old mother who suffers from Dementia Alzheimer’s. When I asked how him how his services would help us and what the plan of care would be his reply was«if you want to let another doctor handle it that’s fine». When he did finally enter the room, he threw himself down in the chair like a teenager, placed his head in his hand and stared down at the chart for a minimum of 60 seconds before he ever bothered to acknowledge our presence. I found him appalling and his attitude uncaring. Our presence, questions seemed a nuisance to him. My opinion, when dealing with issues with the brain, a physician needs compassion and patience. At least act like you care please! Disgusting. Does not get a passing grade.
