If I could have given zero stars, I would have. We actually ate here shortly after it opened up and were happy with our meals. We just went back for a Friday dinner(June 2016) and we all were quite disgusted with our food. I ordered a 12 oz. sirloin with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steamed broccoli was far from fresh – it was soggy and limp with a mildly rancid taste. The steak was extremely dry – tasted like it had been sitting in a freezer for a year(I know this place obviously goes through a lot of steak, but that’s what it tasted like. Maybe they just don’t sell many 12 oz. sirloins). The mashed potatoes were really good, however(but who really cares). My wife ordered a steak salad with the steak well-done, and the steak came served medium to medium rare, and was likewise dry and flavorless. Also, her lettuce chunk had some nasty looking wilted lettuce on it. Also, my water glass was empty almost the entire meal, despite two different waiters offering to come back with a water pitcher and fill it up. The management of this place has clearly changed from since the last time I came here(about two and half years ago). I can confidently say I am not going back there.

What an interesting experience. I was seated near the bar, and yet had no service. Not even a drink, nothing. I asked to speak to the manager, and the manager wouldn’t even speak to me. I was completely ignored. That was the strangest experience I’ve had in a long while. I emailed their corporate offices, and hopefully they’ll contact the Keizer location. I’m not sure how they stay in business. The staff were acting sketchy as well. Not sure what is going on here?

Please don’t review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees While in town visiting family we went to the Outback in Kaiser. The servers were very attentive and extremely pleasant. The food was done perfectly. The restaurant was clean. Having been to Outback in other areas this one met and exceeded expectations. We noticed that Tim the manager was checking with each table, ours as well, and seemed genuinely interested in the service we received and the quality of the food.

We go to Outback for a hearty meal when we’re hungry. On that count, we weren’t disappointed. However, the breadsticks with the fondue were cold and we had to send them back; our food took forever getting out from the kitchen; we had to ask numerous times for things like the ranch dressing and barbecue sauce we’d asked for. It wasn’t the best experience we could have had and it wasn’t up to our previous experience with Outback’s standards. I can only hope they get better and we can give them another try.

The only reason I am giving a star is because i had the company of my family. The service here is horrible!!! We waited an hour before we got silverware and we asked for it the 3rd time we were told they were not allowed too bring it out unless it was wrapped. Really? Then why was it being given to the table next to us while we continued to wait and had our food get cold. My sister finally got up and got the silverware herself. They never brought our salads or deserts and the waitress, Victoria, acted as if we were trying her out by asking for it. My niece got Mac and cheese tasted like it was straight out of the refrigerator, «cold, cold, cold.» I will NEVER come back here again and I will definitely be contacting the manager. This service, actually lack of customer service ruined our mother’s day lunch.

Good food, needs more staff. When your order does get taken they were friendly and swamped, but a good attitude. Took quite awhile to get to order anything and a good time to get the food. I got the ribs my companion got the prime rib melt. The food was delicious when it finally got there and by then we were ravenous, and the beer was cold so… Probably go back some day.

Last time ill spend $ 75 at Outback. Food was cold. Fries cold and soggy and oily. Server was nice and attentive. Kitchen took 40 minutes to get cold food out. Steak Sandwich was luke warm. Fish tacos were horrible. Fish tasted like fish but everything else in taco was bad. Second time there but last time.

We came for a birthday so I had no say in where we went. I wouldn’t have chosen Outback because I’ve always been very disappointed. This visit just reaffirms why I despise them. We had a party of ten. Server was nice. Unfortunately the food was so bad I can’t give more than one star. My wife ordered her steak med-rare and it came well, well done. She asked the server for another and it took almost 15 minutes for it and it was rare.(We got a box for it to cook it ourself at home). My two fish tacos were so salty that I was only able to eat one, and they forgot the fries. I wasn’t about to say anything — its just not worth the trouble. Basically $ 13 bucks for a fish taco that sucked. Out of our party of ten, at least five of us were not happy with their food — I was out of conversation range at the five people at the other end of the table. The other complaints were the hot sandwiches were dry — my grandfather(who is not a picky eater) said he would have rather had a hamburger from Burger King. NEVERNEVERAGAIN.

We went to eat there tonight and had an absolute fabulous time. Our service was prompt, efficient, and timely. The food was excellent! The last two times we had eaten there, our service wasn’t that great, but this time we had a big party and our server, Becky, was awesome! We will definitely go back and ask for her!

Why must Outback over salt their foods? I like salt. But, overkill. I do like the wedge salad & courteous staff. I won’t be returning to ANY Outback as each one we’ve visited the salt has been too heavily applied.

Terrible service. Instead of being greeted at the door by a friendly host, the man walked away mumbling. When he returned simply said«two?» And walked on. We followed then he turned abruptly almost bumping me and told us to go wait in the lobby while he cleaned a table even though 20 tables were available and hardly anyone else was in the restaurant. We left cash on the table to pay and leave after finishing half a meal.

Server was absolutely 5 stars. Unfortunately both steaks we ordered didn’t turn out so great ;(. Medium rare came out rare. Medium came out tougher than shoe leather. Our blooming onion wasn’t fully cooked either. :(but I will say our server was fantastic! –Mixed feelings in Keizer.

Please read. To start off the waiter was super nice. My daughter wanted macaroni and cheese from the kids menu which is supposed to come with a side, but apparently that choice is 3.99 extra for French fries. I ordered the parmesan crusted chicken which is supposed to come with steamed vegetables, but DIDN’T. I also ordered a side salad, the ranch tasted awful. My husband ordered the chicken on the barbie, which is also supposed to come with steamed vegetables but DIDN’T, he also hated the ranch for the side salad. I asked for a side of ranch for my son which never came. He brought out our dinner and it was a large plate with just a tiny piece of chicken and no sides. I was confused, and laughed, but he told me it was correct. I looked at the menu, it was not correct. I will not ever come here again, simply because I refuse to pay 13.99 for a 5oz piece of chicken by its self.

I’ve been here plenty of times, and every time I came I had great service, and great food. The baked potato soup is really good, so sometimes I just order soup & salad! I love the bread you get with every meal. The best thing I’ve had was the Grilled Chicken on the Barbie. I’m not always a huge fan of chicken, but Outback makes me one! The servers are friendly and attentive. This place is definitely a family favorite.

Yes… it was a Saturday night and yes there was AYCE shrimp… but service was extremely slow. Not bad service… just slow. It took us an hour to receive our food… and several parties around us that came later than us received their food before us. The food was typical Outback food… so no real complaint there. When the check came… some prices were different than what was stated on the menu… but our server… Dylan was more than happy to correct that for us.

Our first and last time here. The service was slow, then rushed and impersonal, and they certainly weren’t going to go out of their way for us. The $ 6 kids burgers were too spicy for the kids, and had nothing in the dry white buns but what appeared to be a mass-produced meat patty. No sauce, no onion, no lettuce, no nothing! The cheapest McDonalds burger is(barely) better quality. The fries with the steak were partly burned and partly soggy. The $ 188ounce steak was smaller than the palm of my hand. Perhaps I just don’t know what it should look like? Is that really $ 18 worth of meat? On the positive side, drinks and salad were quick, and the salad was tasty(is it possible to mess up a bleu cheese wedge? Maybe not.) The burgers were a bit overcooked, but the steak was properly cooked. My mother-in-law was very happy with the quality of her fish and chips. However, the in-laws two plates were just under $ 50 total. For $ 50 I expect not only good food, but a good experience. I’m glad the wife and I split a plate. No reason to throw good money after bad. This isn’t a cheap place to eat, but it is certainly one of the worst overall experiences I’ve had. To top it off, the touchscreen pad propped on the table is designed to take orders, play games(for a fee! Really? I’m already paying $ 50 for dinner), and basically do everything a waiter should do. It says loud and clear that they are here to get you in, get your money, and get you out as fast as possible and with as little personal interaction as possible. Don’t waste your money. You can do better ANYWHERE.

Whoa Nelly, hang on to your hat. If you enjoy rotten service, have an appetite for second rate — hold that — appalling food and management that will follow you to your car begging to be given a second chance, this is the place for you. This is the second time we have given this outback a chance, and like the first time on our anniversary we could not have been more disappointed. Service was so bad we had a bus boy bring us our food without plates, no wait staff ever appeared in this last outing and the food… What we had come to know as the ever-ready and consistent good meal went out the window with a ribeye that was so tuff it could be used as chaps in snake country. My wife’s meal was no better. Bottom line — we are through!

It has been more than seven years since we last ate at Outback Steakhouse, at the old Lancaster location, so I was happy to try the new Keizer Station location. I think I was additionally motivated by Outback Steakhouse appearing on an episode of the TNT Network’s «On The Menu.» The building is beautiful, and I love Outback’s Australia-themed interior — but. But, but, but. Despite the new, shiny digs, the dining experience hasn’t changed for the better. We started by ordering an appetizer, a Bloomin’ Onion, described as ‘hand-carved by a dedicated bloomologist, cooked until golden and ready to dip in spicy signature bloom sauce’ /$ 7.99. Our onion was delivered, not«golden,» but a dark mahogany to chocolate brown, overcooked to the point of being inedible. Even the spicy signature bloom sauce couldn’t mask the burned and bitter taste. This epitomizes our visit and my disappointment with Outback Steakhouse’s service: the cook overcooked the onion, but he put it up. The hot plate dude had to have seen the onion was toast, but he put it on a plate and sent it out. Our server, Raymond, had to have seen it was ruined, but he brought it to our table and served it. Guys, it shouldn’t be like this! Where is my «golden?» We sent the onion back to the kitchen, and our server, Raymond, removed it from the bill. He did offer to replace it, but the mess had killed our desire for onion. Soups and salad came next. The Clam Chowder and Signature Baked Potato Soup(topped with melted cheese, bacon and green onions), were both hot and delicious! One awkward point was that there were two sides, both soups, with the Clam Chowder served in a cup, and the Baked Potato Soup was served in a bowl. We pointed this out to our server, who said oops, that’s a mistake, and to let it go. The Blue Cheese Pecan Chopped«Signature Side» Salad was served without pecans, and barely any Blue Cheese, but otherwise was good. OK, dishes cleared, and a long wait for entrees. Long wait. Raymond came by twice, refilled our waters, and assured us our meals would be right up. More long wait. The electronic pads on the table were a nice gimmick. You can order from the menu, it had games available(to make the long waits more bearable?) and a «Call Server» feature. After deciding we had waited long enough, we pressed it. It is gratifying, high technology and all — the light on the top of the pad flashes, and a message is sent to the kitchen. Very nice, or it would have been … if somebody had actually showed up. Eventually, the pad gives up, the light stops flashing, and displays the message«Wait staff cannot be reached. OK»? No, not OK. Also, although I am feeling like a fool, with this light flashing away on our table, I am also surprised that nobody else stopped by. The kitchen staff ignored our call, and plenty of staff walked by, and clearly saw the flashing light in this dim restaurant, but nobody stopped. Eventually, our entrees came. Grilled Chicken on the Barbie /$ 8.99. Grilled chicken breast with BBQ sauce and served with fresh seasonal veggies, plus one side. Good deal, except Raymond then tried to charge an additional $ 4.99 for the«additional» side(which was the cup of Clam Chowder). We had to resort to dragging out the menu to prove our point, which he then had to check with the Manager. Despite the hassle, the food was delicious. The Outbacker Burger with Cheese /$ 9.99(lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and mustard) was served with Aussie Fries, but should not have been — my side had been the Blue Cheese Pecan-less Chopped Salad. I pointed this out to our server, who said to let it go. Alice Springs Chicken /$ 11.99. Grilled chicken breast, sautéed mushrooms, bacon, Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses, honey mustard sauce and Aussie Fries, plus one side. My family member was really pleased with her meal, saying the chicken was moist and tender and delicious. So, as much as I want to love Outback Steakhouse, I can’t recommend it. Two Stars, mostly in recognition of how nice our server, Raymond, was. The three of us agreed we would not be returning.

Came here today with my sister for my Birthday Lunch and free Bloomin Monday! Our server was top notch and the food was excellent. We got our Free Bloomin Onion and my only complaint is they give you a little tiny thing for the sauce. I had to ask for more since the Onion was far bigger than that sauce would cover. My sister ordered the No(fuss…something?) Pasta with Chicken. She thought it was some of the best she has ever had. She really loved the seasoning on the noodles and on the chicken. I ordered the Bloomin Onion Burger. I thought it was pretty good, although I thought it lacked a bit in the flavor department. I was expecting a little more umph from it. But I did just get done eating a whole Bloomin Onion so getting the Burger was probably the worst choice I could have made. I don’t blame them for my bad choice. And since it was my birthday I had a coupon for a free dessert which was a nice big scoop of vanilla ice cream with a smaller scoop of whip cream on top all drizzled in chocolate. It was very good. Overall a very good experience at Outback.
