Couldn’t have better luck understanding this store, it’s like watching The Room. «What the f did I just buy?» Perhaps as a woman I struggle more than the common man, but more employees standing around chatting and watching others work. Maybe, just maybe it’s that 4pm sluggish time of the day I came… In the tools area I got some help right away. He then sent me back to the plumbing section for a tool. After wandering from isle to isle 2 employees called into the isle. I felt like they were as helpful as a football. Or rather I was interrupting their issue. Garden center employees watched me walk back and forth, back and forth. I was looking for plant stakes… Maybe they don’t exist. Now that I left I realize I should have looked fit a wooden dowel. Ugh. I’m sure I’ll be back. Best part was the employee at the checkstand who grabbed the phone just as I was walking up.

Came here to look for washer water hose. Didn’t have trouble finding a staff to help me out. Asked a few questions about the hose. Well I mean nothing too techie. They are quite knowledgable. If you are looking for price match, you have to go to the cashier. To me every Lowe is pretty much the same. Nothing too special. But for question wise, it really depends on the staff. Hit and miss and this is not just Lowe, its almost any hardware store.

Is it just me, or is every Lowe’s the same? Sure the layout might change, but it’s like walking into a Del Taco where you know what you’re gonna get. We went on a busy Saturday, and checking out and even parking was a mess. Staff in the garden department were slow and seemed overwhelmed by the volume of customers. But they carried what we came for, so we left happy.

Conveniently located in Kaiser Station outdoor mall just outside North Salem. We came in looking for replacement furnace filters. They actually had a nice selection, in different grades of the same size. Although they were priced about $ 2 more than the nearby Target for each of the same quality filter, they had our size in stock. The sales associates we encountered on our way out were friendly. Big Pacific Islander-looking customer service gentleman was super helpful in checking us out. Just a note: be careful exiting the doors as the roof water drains directly onto the sidewalk without a downspout on either side of the doors.

just a thought… but Lowes lost the profit on about 200.00 of plywood today because the repairman had not been to my local store in a few weeks. seems the motor on the saw for cutting big sheets had been down for 3 wks and nobody was allowed to fix it, nor could anyone use anything else to help me. so a 5 min repair cost Lowes a lot more… and I’m just one customer. think I would find a new manager, and a new corporate manager for sure. And a new policy of «Help the Customer» your Georgia competitor managed to get the job done… Jim Popwell Silverton Oregon

The Tigard store is the closest to my house, but our dryer died on us and we needed a new one delivered the NEXTDAY if at all possible. I called our local Lowe’s and the also orange store, and no one could get it done. The rep at the Lowe’s Tigard store suggested I call some stores farther away. Lowe’s has something like a 50 or 75 mile delivery radius so if they’re not as busy, maybe I could get my delivery faster. So I called the Keizer store and spoke with their Appliance guy(Mike maybe? I’m so sorry, I spoke with a LOT of appliance guys at many stores last night!) who confirmed they did have my dryer(Maytag Centennial) in stock and COULDDELIVERNEXTDAY! I was STOKED! They took my payment over the phone, and are going to snail mail my receipt. During checkout the associate said the computer was showing delivery a few days out, even though the appliance guy said they could get here the next day. He put me on hold and confirmed with Mr. Appliance that they were gong to do some kind of emergency delivery for me! o. O I didn’t pay more or anything! The delivery guys showed up bright and early(for me anyway) around 10 o’clock or so. They even called me EARLY that morning to let me know the delivery window. They said sometime between 10 and 12 o’clock. A 2 hour window?! AWESOME! Jacob and Brian were super nice, and took my dryer out of the box and brought it right into the garage for me. They also took away my old(broken) dryer to recycle it. Yay! I would have tipped them for going so far out of their way, but Lowe’s doesn’t let you tip their delivery guys and they let me know! Sorry guys! Just know you did an awesome job and I do appreciate your efforts!!! XD I also heard them say the Keizer store is about 2 weeks out on deliveries themselves. So I don’t know how they made it work for ME or why, but I’m SO grateful. We do a LOT of laundry with all our animals and just CAN’T be without a dryer for days on end! So thank you Mr. Appliance guy from the Keizer, OR Lowe’s store who was working late on a Saturday night, and who made it possible for Jacob and Brian to come all the way to SW Portland for my dryer emergency the very next morning! You guys ROCK! And I won’t soon forget it. =)

Located in the Keizer Station shopping center the location is easily accessible from I-5. Friendly staff and adequately stocked shelves makes this a great location.
