Video Headquarters

It’s really nice to have a local video store with such a huge selection. All the new releases plus so much more. You can basically find anything you might want. The staff is super friendly and knowledgable. Plus they have free popcorn

I love Video Headquarters. They have every movie the day after it comes out. And they also sell video games. If you were looking for a movie for any occasion this is the place for you!

The BEST selection! So many videos, including DVDs, tapes, and Blu-​rays.
They’re cheaper than RedBox (especially if you end up keeping a RedBox for longer than two or so days), and the selection truly can’t be beat, even by the closest video stores over in VT.

When it comes to video headquarters you are guaranteed the best service and movie selection in New Hampshire. Furthermore they carry an ever growing blu ray selection, video games for rent, and overly salty popcorn. As long as you make sure they run your movies through the cleaning machine you are all set.

I heart Video Headquarters. In the interest of full disclosure, my fiancée used to work there. However, that does not influence the fact that I think VHQ is the best video store ever. They have a huge selection of titles, a friendly staff and FREE popcorn. Video Headquarters is one of the reasons I miss living in Keene!

I’m kind of afraid to show my face here, because I’m pretty sure I owe them a good deal of money.
I used to have a pal here who would erase my late fees no questions asked, but that was like four years ago, so I hope for his sake he doesn’t still work there even if that would mean my saving 20 bucks or so. He would also recommend movies based on other movies I liked, and would occasionally throw in a completely ridiculous, terrible suggestion just to amuse himself. Now I have Netflix to do this for me, but it was nice while it lasted. Even if, every so often, I’d wind up with a total waste of digital video disc — for example, Mindwalk, in which the actors walked around a mountain and discussed political and social issues. Hence the name: Mindwalk.
Anyway, I told that story in order to communicate the point that the staff are very helpful, except when they’re not, but when they’re not they’re probably doing it on purpose for their own amusement, which I in turn find amusing so I’m willing to forgive them for it.
I do often miss the place, especially when I’m staring down at my latest red envelope thinking «Why the eff did I put The Hulk in my queue? God damn it, it’ll take like 3 days to get a new movie.» You don’t know what you’ve got till you move two hours away from it.

I used to have friends who worked here who would get rid of my late fees no questions asked… One time I rented «Rebel without a cause» for a paper for my film analysis class, and for no reason at all, I returned it one year later. This wasn’t really a problem…
Video stores have to realize that in a netflix world, no one’s gonna rent videos from a store if they have to pay a late fee! VHQ hires people who realize this!
They have a wonderful selection of independent and gay and lesbian films… all the stuff you won’t see at Blockbuster! They also have great daily specials and tremendous customer service!
I miss this place. Hollywood Express in Davis Square is comparable in their staff, and movie selection!

This is the best video store I’ve ever been to! Video Headquarters is a local independent video rental store. They carry all the new movies as well as the classics, indies, and obscure. They have great daily deals, such as «rent 4, get the 5^th free». When the Red Sox won the World Series this year, every movie in the store that started with the letter R was only $ 1! They always have good deals like that. My favorite thing about VHQ is their foreign movie selection. They have a lot of great movies that I’ve never seen at any other rental place. Rent from here! You won’t be dissapointed.
