CRA Towing & Recovery

A total dis service to the community and the towns or owners that call them should be held responsible. Towing a car is not license to damage someone’s property no more than taking a taxi ride is permission to endanger or hurt the passenger.
These guys towed my wife’s car, she parked at quick check, so what.
$ 242 bucks later in cash, we get the car back. Problem is the drivers side window button on a Mercedes is broken and there’s a deep scratch on the drivers side front fender.
The button made the car unable to park anywhere with the window down until it was fixed, a day off of work and $ 300 later the button is fixed and the scratch is still there.
The tow was bad enough, but this co. compounded it by damaging other people’s property.

Do not use these guys.
I was charged $ 242.45 for my car that got towed. I was in a 3 hour lot with a reciept from a shop to prove it. They towed me at 2 hours.
I was charged extra for pick up after 10. $ 30 charge to use scates as my car is 4 wheel drive. Scates were not used (I have pictures to prove it) Their guy said «Yeah we didn’t use them, so what) I had to take my car so paid and then called the owner to complain. My cars 4 wheel drive could have been damaged. It was also in park and they just dragged it !!
6 calls later he finally takes my call. He didnt care and called me a liar. I told him the car was not tied down either as it was only 2 miles from the lot to his base. I have a picture showing the car had slipt and was only hanging on by half a tires width. 6 inches from coming off the truck going round a corner in a residentail area. I said I was going to contact the local authority and show them the pictures and then he agreed to credit me the $ 30 for the scate charge. He never did as promised.
CRA Towing is an embarassment to the Vehcile Recovery industry.
