Great prices. Food is delicious. Best chinese food in town. Restaurant is very clean. It’s always a good sign when you can faintly smell cleaning products. Highly recommend the sweet and sour chicken. The steamed brown rice is so good as well. Not to mention, they have the best egg roll I’ve ever eaten!

(My very first review on Unilocal) Got my food in less than 20 mins. It was very good! $ 12 fed me and my daughter and there is still enough for another person to eat. Try the General Tso’s Chicken!

I came here after a loooong day, looking to pick up some food I could eat quickly before passing out. I tried to order chicken with bean sauce and brocolli but the lady on the phone informed me I was ordering chicken with bean sauce and mixed vegetables and didn’t listen to my attempts to correct her. What I actually got was not what I expected at all. They gave me one container of brown rice, one container of steamed chicken and vegetables (no sauce, no seasoning, just steamed), and then a huge container of black bean sauce (like a cup and a half of it.). I wasn’t really looking to make my own meal; I was kind of expecting my food and the sauce to be mixed… like food at restaurants normally is. Maybe it was confusion in what I ordered, maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. It would have been 3 – 4 stars if it was good but the chicken really wasn’t very good and the black bean sauce was ridiculously salty. I’ve had much better Chinese food around here, so as much as I hate giving them a low rating (they were really nice!), it’s 2 stars.

I never post on Unilocal but this food is too good, so good, and the ppl are nice which is suprising cause most chinese RESTAURANTS in kearny have bad customer service

Good Chinese in an area where Latin food dominates, chan’s offers pretty fresh food without the msg. The chicken and brocc and the beef chow fun are very good. Order yours with brown rice! Won ton soup is also good and the owners are very hard working and super fast with delivery!
