Pricey cable and net, I have a package with a land line for a price break, but who has/wants a land line anymore! I’m a full time student & work full time so I don’t have much time to watch tv but at least once a week I notice it cuts out/is pixelated like a satellite in a storm & we seem to have an internet outage at least once a month, not impressed but not many options…

Charter Communications is a scam. I’ve lived all over the US and this is the only company that REQUIRES me to get a digital box, so I can view all 200 channels they have to offer. I work full-time and just need some entertainment before bed. Every other company has a basic package that runs for $ 30 and you get maybe 40 – 50 channels. Not Charter. You’re required to get the $ 70(minimum) digital package that offers 200 channels with 175 of them being worthless. HOWEVER! If you bundle and get all three packages,(internet, cable, and telephone) then you get them for $ 100. Who even still has a home phone? My 65 year old mother doesn’t even have a home phone anymore. I want to know why I can’t just get internet and cable for $ 60 without the digital box like I can with any other company in the United States. Well Charter, thanks to my phone having internet service, you went from a $ 60 a month potential subscriber to a $ 0 a month subscriber. You may say, well just get the package it’s only $ 40 more a month. That may not seem like much but that’s an extra $ 480 a year. That’s a car payment, full coverage insurance payment, and a tank of gas. Thanks, but no thanks Charter.
