The Lakes At Cinco Ranch

We got our deposit back! We lived there over two years and was sad to leave when we moved to Chicago for work! Miss this place great place to live! Love the area!

I rented one of the large 2 bedroom apartments here at The Lakes At Cinco Ranch under a short term 3 month lease. This was done for me as a favor since my dad rented a corporate rental in Jersey Village which he found through Corporate Premier Housing which is also affiliated with this apartment complex. The usually short term lease is 8 months here but I only needed the space until my parents moved completely into their new home. Crystal, who I believe is the manager here, is very friendly and welcoming and any questions or concerns you may have go through her.
I loved the apartment I had, especially since the room I was sleeping in had a view of the pool area! I definitely lucked out with this place; it was spacious, clean, new, big rooms/​big bathrooms, and nice walk in closets. The kitchen was great, the floor plan was an open concept living space, and there was a little office area for work. The balcony was definitely a plus here; I would sit out and look at the little lake and smell the fresh cut grass. The ammenities at this place was great, BIG POOL, the clubhouse had a pool table, kitchen, tvs, a theater room, a business center and a small workout room. Another great thing about his place is VALET TRASH! I was on the third floor and about a 3 minute walk away from the dumpster and that is too long when you’re carrying smelly trash bags. All I had to do was walk outside to my front door and drop the trash in the valet bin and VIOLA! the trash was gone.
The final and maybe most important aspect of living here, is the proximity to EVERYTHING. Super Target, home goods, Fast Twitch Gym, First Community Bank, Sonic, and all of the stores in La Centerra are right next door, as well as Cinco Ranch High School. I only gave this place 4 out of 5 stars because it is true that they are nitpicky about the deposit when you move out. For example, they noted that the oven was dirty (WE NEVER EVER USED IT, not even once), and that we needed to be charged for touch up paint when we documented the wall scratches the first day we moved in. Other than that, this place is a very beautiful, safe, and comfortable place to live.

Crooks & bad attitudes. I personally and many people that I know that lived here NEVER get a deposit back for normal wear & tear STAY AWAY! Never any PARKING EITHER! Staff very rude — if you have a package delivered at the front office you will NEVER BE NOTIFIED either!
